The following day Jhonia woke up with buffy eyes, she sigh as she remember how she was remembering the accident of her parents due to the flashing lights and sudden darkness with sounds of car horns. She sat up and looked at the time 8:15 AM.

Jhonia rushed out of the bed and straight to the bathroom, after shower she quickly went to her closet where they’re new set of clothing inside her closet, she quickly picked something to wear. After getting dress she rushed downstairs about to leave when Mrs. Pinnock stopped her.

“Where are you going?” she asked in worried tone.

“I overslept! I am going to work!” Jhonia stated her response. Mrs. Pinnock pulled her into a hug.

“It’s okay. He said you could have the day… He sends you home while you are asleep. It’s okay. When you’re having a hard time please come and talk to me, okay? But I know this time it was not your fault! None of it is. So, it’s okay.” Mrs. Pinnock said to her while hugging her. Jhonia finally caught onto what she was going on about and relax as she returned the hug.

“Plus, where you going with your head looking like birds tried to make ness? Hehe, my poor baby.” Mrs. Pinnock asked her, and giggled, saying pulled back from their hug. Jhonia put her free hand on her head and realized it feel messy.

“Haha! I didn’t notice. Since he gave me the day, I’m going to finish a beef I have with Nearce then I’m going to work in the afternoon. Okay, let me spend time with you until then.” Jhonia giggled and said to her, then said she has a bone to pick with Nearce adding she would like to spend time with her till then.

“Oh, you have a bone to pick?” Mrs. Pinnock asked.

“Yes, but I rather not tell you what he had done.” Jhonia said to her, as they both turned towards the kitchen so Jhonia could have her breakfast!

“You don’t want him to know that you told me?” Mrs. Pinnock asked her.

“No! That’s why I’m not telling you, but you can ask him. That is if he will openly tell you the whole truth.” Jhonia responded telling her to ask him. But added he might not be truthful. Mrs. Pinnock nodded and had the maids served her breakfast. She eats and spends the time with her. At some point Mrs. Pinnock felt tired and decided she was going for a nap.

“I know you might not be here when I woke up so, hug now before I go up!” Jhonia stood up from the single sofa as Mrs. Pinnock requested her hug before she went for her nap. They hugged and after Mrs. Pinnock left her and went for her nap! Jhonia spent 5-10 minutes watching the television before she stood and went up to change into something else before leaving and fix her messy hair as well. She went outside and Orean drove into the compound!

“Is he reading minds? How did he”

“Ms. Jhonia, why weren’t you picking up your phone?”

Orean addressed and asked her, as he pulled up cutting her off! He got out of the car and around to open the door for her.

“Where are you going?” Orean then asked her, opening the door for her.

“First, sorry I will try to not have my phone on silent. Second, I’m going to D. O. J then I am going to work!” Jhonia responded to his first and second question. Before getting on the car telling where to where she is going. Orean went back to the driver seat.

Time went and they arrive at the company, Jhonia didn’t hesitate to step out of the car and began walking towards the company entrance… Nearce was walking out of the elevator when Jhonia spotted him as he did, she, with a smile he walked up to her into a slap across the face… Kuwain was passing by stopped upon seeing Jhonia entering the company. “What are you doing going after Mr. Knight and spying on me. What the hell is your problem? That slap somehow felt like it was not enough. Stop spying on me or else I’m going to give you something to watch.” Jhonia said to him and asked Before telling him why she slapped him, after asking. She continued to speak until she touched a nerve.

“You slap me for him?” Nearce asked her, his rose like cheek was ignored as he was in front of his employees, he didn’t want to seem weak or a man who raised his hand at a woman.

“Hah! Why are you so simple minded? Do you ever see anything but yourself? I slapped you for me! Stop spying on me. She told him who she slapped him for, then she cut herself off and sighed telling him. Turning away when Nearce grabbed her, pulling her back into another slap to his face.

Kuwain mouth was left open while Orean was holding his cheek! Kuwain hurried to the office and straight to Kyhe office. “You will not believe, and I mean never believe what I witnessed at DOJ. Shit, my cheeks are burning and I’m not, the one who received them”

“What are you going on about?” Kyhe cuts him off and ask, because it sounded interesting and Kuwain was extending it.

“Jhonia Smith is a!!! Badass. I’m in love. Hey, she slapped Pinnock is the face like Ba -am and then she spoke to him I don’t what she said but when was leaving. He pulled her back into another Ba -Am.” Kuwain explains while showing Kyhe how Jhonia slapped Nearce. “Dude, have you witness a Kung Fu in reality?” Kuwain asked him and began Laughing away.

“No.” Kyhe responded looking at him like he’s crazy.

“I have never- Oh hi, Jhonia.” Kuwain said cutting himself off and said to Jhonia. Kyhe looked up and saw her immediately he stood up!

“It’s lunch time! When- A means why are you here, at work?” Kyhe asked as he was surprised Jhonia is there at the office.

“It’s okay you don’t have to pay for today’s hours but since I’m here are you going to make me go back. Hmm? Kyhe?” Jhonia said to him then, asked using his name.

“No, what no. Not at all! Ahem.” Kyhe said and Kuwain softly laughed at him.

“Okay, I’m going then.” Jhonia said to him.

“Going? Home? But”

“Hey, Jhonia have you ever slapped someone?” Kuwain cut off Kyhe and asked.

“Hmm. I’m going down to work now.” Jhonia said, clearing the air for them both.

“When was the last you slapped someone?” Kuwain asked anting Kyhe to hear from her mouth because it seems like Kyhe didn’t believe him, earlier.

“Moments before coming to work! Why?” Jhonia responded to him stating and asking.

“Today? You slapped someone today?” Kyhe asked with surprise.

“It’s no big deal, he deserves them anyway. I’ll be going.” Jhonia said, responding to Kyhe and leave…
