The following day! Emmari came from the elevator and walked up to Jhonia desk!

“You slapped Nearce Pinnock! What a wife you’re?” Emmari said to her and asked but Jhonia ignored her at first but then she looked around and saw that everyone was not paying attention to them.

After arriving Jhonia went inside and saw Nearce seated on the solo sofa facing her while Mrs. Pinnock seated on the extended couch facing the television. “Mom, have you had dinner?” Jhonia asked Mrs. Pinnock

“Yes, my dear… I thought you wouldn’t return here!” She responded to her and shared her thoughts.

“Oh, that’s fine. I almost left. I will go make something simple.” Jhonia said to her, telling her after seeing Nearce she was going leave and added.

“I see. Should I join you?” Mrs. Pinnock responded as she realized why she said what she said, then asked?

“Sure, but only if you want to.” Jhonia said to her, and she got up heading for the kitchen.

“I thought you were me keeping company?” Nearce asked his mother.

“I want to, how was work?” Mrs. Pinnock said to Jhonia, ignoring Nearce and asked her.

“It was awesome.” Jhonia said loudly so that Nearce could hear her, but he ignored her and carried on with his business…

Jhonia made her meal and ate with Mrs. Pinnock, afterwards they sat and talked with each other. Nearce was getting tired of listening to them laugh when he couldn’t hear what they were speaking of. He got up and went to his room unnoticed. Some time passed and Jhonia looked at the time.

“Oh no, it’s an hour to midnight! Uh, mom you look sleepy.” Jhonia announced to herself, looking at Mrs. Pinnock and spoke.

“Hmm, but I want to stay up with you.” Mrs. Pinnock responds by admitting she wants to spend time with her.

“It’s okay, I will spend this weekend here! Oh, by the way what are you doing for Valentine’s Day?” Jhonia said to her then asked what’s her plan for valentine’s day.

“I have a party to attend and of course, you will be there with your Boss. He’s a very handsome man up close, I would feel at easy if he’s the one who replace Nearce.” Mrs. Pinnock explained she would go to a party and said who Jhonia would go with and his looks but also how she would feel if he’s someone she (Jhonia) ends up with. Jhonia look up at her with surprised as she was not expecting that and from her, who is Nearce mother. Shockingly, she sat and stared.

“He’s a player.” Jhonia finally uttered a word.

“And players change, cheaters don’t always do. Players are not ready to commit because they’re still looking for the one who will make them feel like the world suddenly has a new point of view, a point of view he was unable to see. Jhonia sat and listened, allowing herself to see what Mrs. Pinnock saw because she has experience in the field of being cheated on.
