Now, such a situation happening to her is somewhat more understandable and acceptable. It's
probably better than being exposed after having a child for a few years and pretending to be single all
the time. It's also fortunate that she didn't deliberately maintain a single image. If she had even the
slightest hint of it, the outcome wouldn't be what it is now when her relationship with Brandon was
exposed.
After their conversation, Brandon timely approached from the side and went to get water, as well as
juice for Sandy. Haider made the effort to come and talk to Sandy in person, wanting to hear her
thoughts. If Sandy insisted on leaving the entertainment industry, Haider would make other
arrangements as well. However, if Sandy simply wanted to take a break during her pregnancy and
childbirth, then the previous arrangements would temporarily remain unchanged. With Sandy's decision
confirmed, Haider didn't stay to disturb the couple.
Brandon and Sandy accompanied Haider to the door. Brandon looked at Haider and asked, "Shall I
arrange the hotel for you?"
Haider waved his hand, "No need. I came here not just because of this matter. I have other things to do
and appointments to keep."
Upon hearing Haider's response, Brandon didn't say anything more. After watching Haider leave, he
and Sandy turned back into the house.
As soon as they entered, before they could even close the door, Brandon turned and pulled Sandy into
his arms, resting his chin on her shoulder and whispered a thank you.
Sandy, upon hearing Brandon's words, gently patted his back with her hand and asked, "Why are you
suddenly saying this?"
"Just felt like it," Brandon tightened his embrace around Sandy, "After these next few days, when you're
feeling better, I'll arrange things at the company and we'll go to Manches City together."
Sandy pushed Brandon away gently with her hand, "Why are we going to Manches City?"
"To marry you," Brandon said.
A smile tugged at the corners of Sandy's lips upon hearing his words. She turned and walked toward
the living room, saying, "But I haven't agreed to let you marry me yet."
Brandon followed a step behind Sandy and sat down on the sofa, pulling her into his arms as he did.
"Are there still conditions?"
Sandy leaned against Brandon, "Yes."
"Tell me."
"I haven't thought of them yet. I'll let you know when I do. For now, just remember that," Sandy said.
Brandon nodded, "Alright."
Sandy stayed in Brandon's embrace for a while before speaking up, "Brandon, let's go visit Aunt Jillian
tomorrow."
Brandon murmured in agreement, "Okay, tomorrow morning, I'll go back with you, and then we'll find a
time to go to Manches City."
After saying that, Brandon lowered his head and looked at Sandy in his arms. He whispered, "Have
you told your sister about the pregnancy?"
There was no need to specially inform her because with the current online buzz, Stella probably
already knew.
After hearing Brandon's question, Sandy nodded, "I'll give her a call."
Brandon acknowledged with a sound of agreement, "Alright."
Sandy went to the guest room with her phone, closed the door, and dialed Stella's number.
After the call connected, Stella quickly answered. Her voice came through the phone, laced with a hint
of annoyance. "I thought you would wait until the child was born to call me 'Auntie' before preparing to
call."
Before Sandy could say anything, Stella's voice with a tinge of anger reached her through the phone.
Sandy coughed lightly, "Sis, I wasn't feeling well, so I slept all day and didn't get a chance to talk to you.
Besides, the fans and netizens are so proactive. They told you even before I had the chance to."
Stella chuckled, then asked, "If you're not feeling well, did you go to the hospital for a check-up?"
"I did, there's nothing wrong, just pregnancy symptoms. Everything else is normal," Sandy replied.
After hearing Sandy's response, Stella asked, "Sandy, given the current situation, what are your plans?
What did Brandon say?"
Sandy whispered, "Brandon said that we should have everything we need and follow the proper
procedures. He won't let me be wronged."
After hearing Sandy's words, Stella spoke softly, "You two have to decide on this matter. Now that you
have a child, you have to consider Shen Duo's situation. In the future, where you settle down, you can't
just wander around while having children, right?"
"Sis, I want to stay in Manches City with you," Sandy whispered after Stella's words.
Stella was slightly taken aback upon hearing Sandy's words, then she spoke, "Sandy, I'm glad you
think of me, but if you really marry Brandon, you have to adapt to his circumstances. Brandon's home
is in Viteto, his family is in Viteto. You can't selfishly ask Brandon to leave them behind and come to
Manches City with you."
"Moreover, Brandon has his job there. If he comes to Manches City, many things will have to start from
scratch. Sandy, you have to understand Brandon's feelings. Don't think that he will agree to everything
just because you ask. You can't act as you please."
Being told this by Stella, Sandy's heart was moved, but she didn't want Stella to be alone in Manches
City. Although the distance wasn't too far and transportation is convenient nowadays, it still wasn't as
practical as staying by her side.
"But I also want to stay by your side," Sandy said softly.
"When you miss me, I'll come to see you, or in the future, you can come to Manches City with Brandon
to visit me. It's all fine. Or I can come and stay at your place for a period of time every now and then,"
Stella suggested.
Stella had considered letting Sandy stay in Viteto after marriage, but sometimes one shouldn't be too
selfish. So Stella quickly dismissed that thought.
"Sis, I don't want you to be alone. I..." Têxt © NôvelDrama.Org.
"I'm not alone here. Now I have Yanis, Bonnie, and I've made many friends. I'm not alone. Don't always
focus on me. If Brandon finds out, he'll make fun of you," Stella interrupted Sandy before she could
finish her sentence.
After hearing Stella's words, Sandy fell silent for a few seconds before murmuring, "I understand."
Finishing her response, Sandy changed the subject, "Earlier, Mr. Hughes came over. I told him that I
will take a break during this pregnancy year and decide on future plans after giving birth and
recovering."
"That's good. Rest well during this period, take care of your health, and decide on your plans after
giving birth."
As Stella spoke, she paused for a moment, then asked, "And what about Brandon? What did he say?"
