Chapter 935: Making Plans After Giving Birth

Upon hearing Brandon's words, Kason responded, "That's true. Take the next couple of days to handle

the matters at the company, take Sandy to Manchester City to meet the family, and finalize everything

that needs to be done. We shouldn't overlook Sandy's needs."

Brandon acknowledged, "I understand."

Continuing his sentence, Brandon added, "Also, let Mom know that once we've settled things with

Sandy here, I'll bring her to meet Mom again."

Kason replied, "Alright, I'll let her know. Take care of Sandy. If you need your sister-in-law to come and

help take care of her, don't hesitate to ask. Don't feel awkward about it, you hear?"

Brandon agreed, "Okay, if needed, I'll definitely have my sister-in-law come over."

"Alright, go and accompany Sandy. I won't bother you anymore." Kason hung up the phone before

Brandon had a chance to respond.

After ending the call, Brandon turned and walked to the chair opposite Sandy at the dining table. He

looked at her and softly asked, "Is the food good?"

Sandy picked up a dish and offered it to Brandon, saying, "You taste it."

Brandon looked at the dish Sandy handed him, opened his mouth, and took a bite. He then said, "You

should eat more."

Sandy nodded and asked, "Did Mr. Hughes say when he'll be coming?"

"He should arrive soon."

Sandy lowered her head and took a few more bites before looking at Brandon again. She asked, "What

did my brother say to you earlier?"

Brandon replied, "He asked me to take care of you. If I can't take care of you properly, he plans to have

your sister-in-law come and help. But I assured him that I will take good care of you, so there's no need Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.

for your sister-in-law."

"Is that all?"

Brandon looked at Sandy and said, "What else do you think your brother could have said?"

Sandy put down her chopsticks and stared at Brandon for a while before speaking up, "Brandon, once

I've discussed things with Mr. Hughes, let's get our marriage certificate and plan the wedding. That

way, our child will have a proper and legitimate birth. Although the baby arrived a bit earlier, we should

make it up to him."

After hearing Sandy's words, Brandon softly agreed, "Alright, I'll follow your lead."

As they were talking, the doorbell rang.

Brandon checked the time and said, "They should be here. Go upstairs and change before coming

back down."

Sandy nodded and went upstairs.

After Sandy turned and went upstairs, Brandon walked to the front door and opened it. He looked at

Haider standing at the door and nodded slightly, saying, "Mr. Hughes."

Haider nodded back and entered the house as Brandon stepped aside.

"Do you need to take off your shoes?" Haider asked in a low voice after entering the house.

"No need, let's go in first," Brandon replied, shaking his head.

Haider nodded and followed Brandon into the living room.

Brandon gestured for Haider to sit on the couch and asked, "Would you like something to drink?"

"Anything will do."

Brandon prepared a cup of tea for Haider and placed it on the table in front of him. "Sandy went

upstairs to change. She wasn't feeling well and slept until the afternoon."

After placing the teacup in front of Haider, Brandon explained in a low voice.

Haider nodded and said, "I understand. Bonnie also mentioned feeling a bit uncomfortable during the

early stages of pregnancy."

After listening to Haider, Brandon glanced towards the second floor and then spoke up, "Mr. Hughes,

Sandy really likes this industry. However, this situation is more of my responsibility. I didn't expect..."

Haider interrupted Brandon before he could finish his sentence and said in a low voice, "These things

are normal. In our line of work, we often live under the scrutiny of others. It seems like we need

everyone's approval before we can do anything."

"But we also need our private time and space. Not every moment of our lives should be determined by

others."

Listening to Haider's words, Brandon nodded and said, "That's true. It's just that I know Sandy recently

signed with Gotrend Entertainment and caused some trouble. It has caused you some inconvenience."

Haider responded, "You shouldn't say it that way. When we decided to sign Sandy, we believed she

was worth it. Although she hasn't officially taken on any scripts since joining Gotrend Entertainment,

her endorsements and variety shows are almost fully booked. She has brought considerable benefits to

Gotrend Entertainment."

As businessmen, they spoke directly.

As they continued their conversation, Sandy came downstairs after changing her clothes. When she

saw Haider sitting in the living room, she respectfully greeted him.

"Mr. Hughes."

Haider nodded and said, "Please have a seat."

After Sandy sat down, Brandon stood up and said, "You two talk. I have a call to make."

Brandon didn't plan to be part of Sandy's conversation with Haider. While he hoped Sandy would

pursue her dreams, he also had some selfish thoughts due to her pregnancy. He wanted Sandy to rest

well at home during these ten months of pregnancy. After giving birth and recovering, if Yanis still

wanted to pursue a career in the industry, he would wholeheartedly support her.

After Brandon left, Sandy turned to Haider and said, "Mr. Hughes, I apologize for what happened this

time. I didn't expect to be caught on camera when we went to the hospital."

Haider shook his head in response, "It's not entirely unexpected. You didn't have a suitable opportunity

to go public before this, and now that someone else took the first step, the situation isn't as dire as we

thought. So, there's no need for you to apologize."

With that said, Haider looked at Sandy and asked, "What are your plans now?"

After a brief silence, Sandy whispered, "For now, I won't go to the company. I'll finish filming the variety

shows and endorsements I've already committed to, and then take a break. Once I give birth and

recover, I'll make further plans."

Haider nodded, "That's good. Gotrend Entertainment has several artists who have publicly announced

their relationships and marriages. Their careers are still going strong, and nowadays, fans are more

accepting. Many fans are wise enough to understand that they love the characters you portray, and in

real life, you all have your own lives to live."

As Sandy listened to Haider's words, she was actually surprised. She never expected that most of her

fans would be rational.

After all, she had seen many celebrities who were at the height of their popularity suddenly have their

relationships, marriages, or even children exposed, only to experience a significant decline in their

careers afterward.
