You Are My Mr Right

Chapter 158 Undressing

Freya’s expression tightened.

Where did the crying come from?

She immediately followed the sound and found Calista in a red container, along with Thorne Silverton. There was also a sobbing woman inside. The crying earlier came from this woman.

Freya frowned. This woman looked so young; could she be the woman Thorne Silverton found who had given birth?

“Who let you come?” Thorne Silverton’s face looked extremely unpleasant.

He glared fiercely at Calista. He was breaking up with Calista at this time because he feared she would be targeted by Elijah and lead him here. Yet, she had come.

Calista didn’t understand Thorne’s anger. She thought it was because she had discovered him with this woman and was now acting out of shame. This was the first time she had seen Thorne so angry.

“Are you breaking up with me because of this woman?” Calista choked up uncontrollably.

When she entered the room, she saw this woman taking off her top, facing Thorne Silverton.

This was Thorne Silverton’s office.

What else could they do here by undressing?Belonging to NôvelDrama.Org.

It hurt her so much.

She hadn’t expected-he really betrayed her.

Thorne didn’t explain. “Yes.”

Calista’ tears flowed even more violently. She couldn’t control her emotions.

“How could you treat me like this?” asked she.

She wiped away her tears forcefully. “Fine, if you want to break up, then break up. It’s no big deal. You can find other women, and I can find other men too.”

After saying that, Calista turned to leave.

Thinking about her going to find another man, imagining her delicate and tender body being pressed down by another man, Thorne Silverton couldn’t stay calm. He stepped forward, grabbed her wrist, and said, “Don’t be impulsive.”

Calista turned to look at him. “I’m not being impulsive. I’m not saying this out of anger. If you can find other women, why can’t I find other men?”

She retorted.

Thorne Silverton, who never explained himself to others, explained to her for the first time, “She is the wet nurse I hired. Just now, she was undressing to milk…”

“Why did you hire a wet nurse?” Calista asked.

Thorne Silverton couldn’t say, so he let go of her. His actions, in Calista’ eyes, were an admission, a speechless acknowledgment.

“Thorne Silverton, I didn’t expect you to be like this. No, it’s my wishful thinking. I thought I was different from other women, but it turns out you are just a dirty man!” Calista was completely desperate.

Her tone was also very cold.

Thorne Silverton didn’t explain. “Now that you know, leave. Don’t come back.”

Calista smiled bitterly. “I won’t come back.”

After saying that, she walked away.

Thorne Silverton didn’t stop her but ordered his subordinates to take away the woman who was nursing. Calista watched Thorne’s receding figure, her heart cold. She couldn’t help but self-mockery.

What was she still expecting?

She wiped away her tears.

Love was not everything in life.

Once lost, it meant death.

She took a deep breath, and when she reached the bow of the ship, she remembered Freya, who had come with her. Why wasn’t she waiting here?

Where was she?

Calista looked for her.

“Freya.” She called out as she searched.

Her voice was heard by Thorne Silverton. He walked over. “What did you just call?”

Calista said, “Freya. What’s wrong?”

“Is she on the ship?” Thorne squinted.

Calista didn’t know why his expression darkened again. She explained, “She just came with me to find you. She’s my friend, won’t say anything random. I’ll find her and leave…”

“Your friend?” Thorne furrowed his brows. “Do you know who she is?”

Calista had a bad premonition. “I just met her as a friend…”

“Just met?” Thorne gritted his teeth. “You just met her and brought her onto the ship?”

“What’s wrong? Why are you so angry?” Calista asked.

Was Freya’s identity special?

“She’s Elijah’s wife!” Thorne calmed down his anger and said, “Forget it. At least we discovered it early and didn’t cause any trouble. She won’t be able to escape on this ship.”

Calista was stunned.

“So she approached me with a purpose?”

“What do you think?” Thorne said. “I broke up with you at this time to prevent others from targeting you. It seems that it’s too late, and you’ve still been targeted. Forget it, since you already know, I won’t hide it from you. That Freya just now used you to try and get information about her child from your mouth.”

“You have her child?” Calista Winters was shocked.

“Yes, that child is very important to me. As long as I have him in my hand, I can threaten Elijah. I can make him give up his company’s shares, and he will have to do it.”

“What about that woman just now?”

“A nanny I found to feed the child.” Thorne answered simply, and then added, “The child was crying loudly, so I asked her to feed him.”

Calista suddenly realized, “Did I misunderstand you?”

“Yeah.” Thorne Silverton sighed.

Since Calista already knew and had been targeted, there was no need to break up. “Come with me. We must find her.”

The ship was only so big.

There was no place to hide.

Calista apologized to him, “I’m sorry, I brought trouble to you.”

Thorne hugged her. “It doesn’t matter. Capturing her gives me two handles to threaten Elijah. It’s not a bad thing.”

Calista still felt guilty, feeling that she had caused trouble for Thorne Silverton. He broke up with her not because he had a change of heart, but to protect her. Thinking about this, she started feeling a bit remorseful, thinking that she had been too impulsive. She should have remained calm.

Freya, who was skilled in swimming, was hiding in a lifebuoy on the outer wall of the ship to avoid those looking for her. She gripped the rope, leaning against the ship’s wall. However, the people looking for her discovered her outside the ship soon.

“Over here, over here!” One of them shouted, and soon, his companions gathered around.

“Let’s go and take a look.” Thorne hugged Calista’ shoulder.

His subordinates didn’t immediately catch Freya because Freya couldn’t sustain herself in this position for long.

They all stood there, watching the spectacle.

Thorne Silverton walked over, looked down, and a smirk appeared on his lips. “This is the sea. Do you think you can escape by jumping? There’s a road to heaven you won’t take, and you force your way into hell. Don’t blame me for being unkind if you can’t appreciate the value of fragrant jade.”

With that, he ordered his subordinates to bring Freya up.

Freya looked at the sea below. Jumping down here meant death. The shore was too close, and she couldn’t swim there. Moreover, the deep sea had large marine creatures, making it extremely dangerous.

“No need to catch me, I’ll come up myself.”

After careful consideration, Freya had no choice but to climb up.

Thorne’s subordinates quickly surrounded her, fearing she might run away.

“Step aside.” Thorne Silverton knew she had no way to escape on the ship, or she wouldn’t have obediently climbed up.

“You approached me with a purpose?” Calista withdrew from Thorne’s embrace and walked to Freya.

The two women faced each other.

Freya, who had taken advantage of her, had no words of defense.

“I had no choice but to do it to find my child…” Before Freya could finish explaining, Calista raised her hand and slapped her across the face.

“Stop!”
