Chapter 335 In the Shadow of Despair
Ozzy was waiting for him, and Nathaniel followed him into the adjacent office.
"Mr. Nathaniel, I've contacted an expert who specializes in treating depression. However, he's currently abroad. You can arrange a suitable time for him to come to Saeville."
Nathaniel slowly raised his hand and said in a hoarse voice, "No need for him to come to Saeville. Let him go to Stanna."
"Mr. Nathaniel..." Ozzy was stunned.
Frey slept so soundly that even her nightmares disappeared. When she woke up, it was already the next morning.
The strong sunshine at noon had turned into a vibrant morning sun. Frey hurriedly sat up. She had slept for so long that her temples ached.noveldrama
She covered her head and groaned, waking Nathaniel, who was half-lying on the sofa opposite her.
"Frey, how are you? Are you still feeling uncomfortable?" Nathaniel asked, sitting up and walking toward her.
Frey had slept deeply the previous day. Nathaniel didn't let Ozzy wake her up, allowing her to rest on the medical chair while he sat on the sofa to keep her company.
They resembled two exhausted animals that had fought to the bitter end.
Nathaniel held Frey's hand tightly. Her hand was cold, and she lacked the strength to free herself from his grasp.
Facing him now, she felt only helpless indifference. She knew she could never escape his hold, and now she had fallen into his hands once more. "Are you hungry? You haven't eaten anything all day," Nathaniel said with a forced smile, which looked more like a grimace.
Frey was almost amused by his expression. This wasn't the decisive Mr. Nathaniel who ruled Saeville.
After Ozzy's injection, she felt much better and was hungry. The
overwhelming news on the Inte and multiple court appearances had broken her spirit. The loss of child had been the final straw

She hadn't eaten properly for days, unable to keep anything down. Now, feeling hungry, Nathaniel sighed in relief and bent down to pick her up.
"Mr. Nathaniel, I'm sick, not paralyzed. Please put me down," Frey protested weakly, unable to match his strength.
Without a word, Nathaniel carried her to the lounge. He had cleared the entire floor for them, turning it into their living quarters.
Even Peyton was moved to the other side, and Koen and the others were not allowed in without permission. Only Ozzy, the doctor, was an exception. Ozzy entered with a lunch box, quickly leaving after setting it down. He didn't want to get in trouble with Nathaniel.
Nathaniel opened the lunch boxes. Frey took a sip of porridge and was momentarily stunned.
Nathaniel carefully opened the other boxes, smiling almost obsequiously. "Ms. Lovett prepared these dishes and packed them for you."
A trace of guilt flashed across Frey's face. She felt bad for involving Ms. Lovett, who was also being affected by her troubles.
Sensing her thoughts, Nathaniel

just cooks at Ocean Villa. It's Koen and the others who delivered the food."
Feeling reassured, Frey began to eat. However, halfway through the meal, she felt nauseous and quickly put down her spoon, though she managed not to vomit.
Nathaniel gently patted her back until she calmed down, and they both sat back on the sofa.
