The next day Jhonia returned to work and was informed by Daeviann that there had been a couple inside the President’s office. Jhonia, curiously looked up at the glass.

“What are you looking at? My friend.” Kuwain asked and Jhonia turned around and smiled.

“Where have you been I haven’t seen you around, what happen?” Jhonia said to him and then asked.

In that Kuwain’s phone rang and he stepped away as he took the phone. Jhonia smiled a bit and began her daily routine before she started to work but with a confused mind, she wondered what she was forgetting. She feels it’s important but couldn’t put her fingers on it. Meanwhile, Kyhe’s meeting was coming to an end. He unscreened the glass to his office and saw that Jhonia was there! He screens off the glass once more, the male and female leave his office. After a minute a call came in on his office phone.

“Hello! personally, wanted to inform the department that Jhonia Smith will be paid by me personally so removed her from the finance department list and moved her to the President paying list.”

Kyhe picked his office phone after answering he said quickly as he was about to put the phone down-

“Wait… Mr. President? Ah, well! Jhonia Smith is a company employee if the finance department doesn’t pay her, ah! Am sorry but who will?” The female said taking a moment, question him and proceeded asking him.

“Are you not hearing properly? I said, move her to the President paying list! I will decide how much she gets. Do what you were told are get fired.” Kyhe yelled as he asked her. He then repeated part of what he said, then declared her to be fired if she does not do what she’s told to do. Kyhe slam the phone down.

“I can’t figure her out, Jaeminy would have told mom already, if it was her! I’m sure of it, because she did it before, but Jhonia pretended like nothing happened. Yet, why was I upset about yesterday?” Kyhe said speaking to himself then ask? He then unscreened the glass and looked down at her working!

“Jhonia!” Suddenly she looked up with surprise! Kyhe was surprised! A man stood in a suit and coat with a bag hanging from his shoulder.

“Who is he?” Kyhe asked himself, from within his office, as he stood up and walked to the door… Jhonia stood with her mouth open a bit.

“I was wondering what I had forgotten about! It turned out to be you! I’m sorry just let me… Ah! Wait there!” Jhonia said quickly, then apologies seem she didn’t know what to do in that moment.

“Secretary Smith?” Kyhe question calling her as if he noticed that she seems lost! Kyhe stood a few steps down the stairs.

“Ah! Yes, Mr. Knight.” Jhonia said quickly, walking up to him in haste.

“Okay, so he helps me S&C but I had completely forgotten about it and didn’t spoke with you about it. I’m sorry this sudden”

“Okay, what is he”

“Mr. Knight. Let me finish! Ah…! Right. He’s Jaeminy husband and he good with computers very good but if you refuse to give him a job, you can fire me… I promised him the job and if I can’t keep my promise, I might as well quit. Good. Now, that I run by you, thank you.”

Jhonia was explaining said to Kyhe who had cut her, and she who cut him off to finish what she was saying as quickly as she could and turned away from Kyhe walking away.

“Heh? Wait. I didn’t– If you didn’t need my approval why did you act like you did?” Kyhe questioned, and tried to stop but he noticed her goes to him. He then asked as he watched them. “Jaeminy husband! How did I miss that one? “Hehe! I had forgotten all about it but luckily, I cleared the air. I’m sure you know where the computer department is and then they will send you to the badge department. Sorry, I can’t send you myself.” Jhonia said to him with a smile explaining she cleared the air, she then said he should know where the department is and he returned the smile.

“Of course, don’t worry by the way. And Jhonia… Thank you.” He said but suddenly turned around and thanked his thanks and then left, Jhonia smiled and waved to him goodbye.

She turned around and Kyhe was not looking happy. Jhonia narrowed her eyebrows and Kyhe pointed at his office door. Jhonia nodded as she knows that he is calling her, she took a deep breath then to his office she began walking towards when she remembers she has a file for him to send to law department himself! She picked up the files and took them with her. She knocked on the door twice and entered.

“You called me!” Jhonia stated before putting down the files and pushing them to him.

“These file requests your presence at the law department.” Jhonia said then began looking at him.

“Thank you, but why did you seek my permission if you didn’t need it to hire that man?” Kyhe asked looking up from the file to her. He stared at Jhonia that he missed her answer.

“What?” Kyhe asked.

“I ask, if you wish to have him as your secretary?” Jhonia asked and Kyhe narrowed his eyebrows at her.

“I guess not. I needed a favor, and he did me one as I promised him one. I did need your approval and you gave it to me, also he could be of good help incase since he knows S&C inside out.” Jhonia said and began to explain but even then Kyhe was absent minded! Jhonia stared at him staring at her.

“I will take my leave.” Jhonia said, taking her leave.

“Wait.” Kyhe said and she stopped. She turned to him with a questioning look on her face.

“There is something I need to tell you about. Secretary Smith, this is abo”

“No! Don’t tell me! I don’t want to know Mr. Knight. I have work to do President Knight, I will. I mean I should go back! Then, I’m going.” Jhonia cutting off Kyhe and said quickly to him, shaking her hand as a no hint that she didn’t want to know she began to leave.

“Jhonia Smith.” Kyhe called her as she was rushing to the door, Jhonia halt instantly!

“Step back!” Kyhe said and Jhonia took three steps back!

“Now listen to me, this is important to me, and I hope that you”

“Mr. Kuwain, where have you been I haven’t been seeing you around!” Jhonia cut off Kyhe and said as Kuwain entered his office, Jhonia quickly rushed up to him with a smile.

“Oh well, I was busy how are you? I missed you.” Kuwain responded to her and asked her and told her he missed.

“Aww, really? then help me leave this office.” Jhonia asked and then whispered to Kuwain.

“Let’s have lunch together today, so go back to work so you leave with me for lunch. Hmm?” Kuwain said making way for her to leave!

“Hey! Come back here! I’m talking to you! Jhonia, this is not over. And you why did you let her go?” Kyhe finally realized what they were whispering about and began yelling at Jhonia who took the chance to avoid what he was trying to speak of! Then yelled at Kuwain for letting her go.

“Sorry, let’s talk.” Kuwain said to him making his way to the couch, he sat down and looked at Kyhe as he made himself comfortable.
