Jhonia woke up inside a hotel room. She proceeds with getting off the bed and realize her feet is within a pair of socks. She looked back on the bed and saw a note. “If you are seeing this, it means you’re awake! Sorry, I had to go and I hope you can drive because I left the car, it’s one the company car I would drive often consider it my very own. Please, return it on Monday. Kyhe. Also, I leave the company card, next time something happens like that call both my numbers.” Kyhe’s written words. Jhonia tears peaks her eyes, she sighs loudly before getting up from the bed and went to the bathroom there she finds yet another note sticked to the mirror.

“I should have written everything at once, but the notes were small! Ah, don’t use the hotel stuff I bought toothbrush and boiled it before leaving it! I, also bought those I hope they fit.” Jhonia looked around and found shopping bags which contains clothes and panties with a sticky note quoted those, Jhonia began to smile. She showered with a smile on her face. After shower she changed into the clothes Kyhe bought then went out to see a candle burning with yet another sticky note.

“What’s this one about?” Jhonia asked herself as she approached the candle suddenly, the door was knocked on and her attention shifted to the door, she went and open it! A woman stood before her with a box.

“The gentleman said you would wake up between 10 and 11: AM, so I should send the cake between that time.” The woman said handing Jhonia the box.

“This man, did he leave a name?” Jhonia asked the lady.

“Yes, he said he was your boss.” The female responded to Jhonia’s question.

“Thank you. Ah, please what time is it?” Jhonia expressed her thanks and asked her the time.

“10:35 AM.” The woman response, with a nod she leaves and Jhonia closed the door and went over to the candle then puts down the box and open it!

“Happy Birthday Dad from Jhonia… Ah. Ah!!!” Jhonia breaks down after reading what was written on the cake! After hour of crying. She sobs and wipe her tears. And pick up the note.

“While you were sleeping you cried talking about celebrating your dads, birthday at the beach so I got you sand, and the candle is a way of saying goodbye and there’s your cake… If you haven’t received it, you will, soon. Kyhe.” Kyhe’s written words. She didn’t know what to do so she cried silently looking at the candle burn.

It was three in the afternoon when Jhonia woke up, finding that she had sat there crying and slept! She got up and freshen up herself before leaving the room, on the way the elevator she remembered that Kyhe had lifted the company car. She returned to the room and picked the car keys noticing that she was too leaving the cake. She checked it before taking it with her with a smile on her face, she leaves the hotel room and back to the elevator.

“Dad! I’m so sorry that your birthday was celebrated the day after, your daughter is truly sorry.” Jhonia speak with apologies to her father.

She stepped off the elevator and went outside to see three cars parked at the side of the hotel drive through unknowing which car belong to Sky! Jhonia press the car key control when the car in the middle lights up and makes an alert sound, she walked over to the car and open the door, after entering and starting the engine she drove off from the hotel!

“Wait… I don’t even know where am going.” Jhonia said to herself she puts on the four-way indicator and type in her address to Emlinns into the car GPS! It showed her all the directions to the address, and she took the easy path.

“Avoiding all officials, especially after … Not even my own phone is with me. Darn it, Nearce you bastard!” Jhonia said to herself but remember and curse Nearce before driving off into the path she decided to take! After she arrived home it was almost 7: PM! She parked the car and went inside.

“Hello, Ms. Jhonia.”

“Oh, hi Cassidy how are you?” Jhonia asked her.

“I’m good! Love the curls.” Cassidy said to Jhonia with a smile, Jhonia remember that after shower last night she didn’t dry nor straighten her hair because of Nearce accusation of her sleeping with her boss, even so she forgot to do it earlier.

“Thank you, I decided to let it have some curls a bit. You worked last week as well, what happened?” Jhonia asked as she decided to walk over to the front desk, instead of standing in the path to the elevator. She places the box down on the counter and waited for Cassidy response.

“Shannany, is finding it difficult to work me because she is now having a “Thing.” With Scattory and I know it was him, it must be him! I’m Mrs. Emlinns favorite I was the one who got them the job in the first place, now they are both hating on me, I’m so angry with them but I don’t want to pull my boss into my affair, so I asked for this week as well!” Cassidy told Jhonia, quoting the word thing, between her friend and ex-boyfriend. She told Jhonia why she work twice and explained to Jhonia how she didn’t want to drag her boss into their mess. Jhonia had already heard about this Scattory, so she understood her better than anyone.

“Call her from the company phone and tell her to quit if she can’t be professional, but also remind who you are to the boss, then tell her to convince him to quit as well! And let it flow after that.”

Jhonia said and leave her with a wink! She went up to her room, and called Orean then got dressed to go to the Pinnock’s… Time skipped! Jhonia sat at the table with Mrs. Pinnock, and Nearce, in silence.

“Honey, how are you?” Mrs. Pinnock decided to break the silence and ask Jhonia.

“I’m sleeping with my boss, apparently.” Jhonia responded and Mrs. Pinnock laughed so hard her throat dried up.

“Honey stop. Oh, that was funny, but no more jokes, how are you?” Mrs. Pinnock said to her and asked her, Jhonia looked up at her showing she’s serious.

“Apparently, my boss is sleeping with me.” Jhonia said turning what she said around.

“Okay, your serious. Baby, I know you! I have gotten to know you and I’m happy with you no matter what but you’re not that kind of person, I know this because you’re true to yourself before anyone else, so tell mom why you said what you said?” Mrs. Pinnock said as she notices that she was serious. She then told her why she would not believe what she said, and she knew better so she asked her why she said such.
