MISTAKE 124
Chapter 124: I love the ground you walk on.
“Maybe it is the way you call me that is making you confused. You have to decide, How long are we keeping this up till I can leave?” she asked
Her question angered him.
“Leave? Leave where? I made a wrong decision back then. I am sorry, baby. But this is not a joke for me. This is not a game, not anymore,” he said, and her heart drummed. When she looked into his soulful eyes, she wondered if she had lost her mind.
Was she actually believing him? He used her several times. As much as Anya admitted that she had fallen in love with him, she did not dismiss the fact that maybe she was crazy. It did not mean she had to stay with him.
His little actions and the way he talked to her had found a way into her heart, and she had started to wonder what they were to each other and if they could be more. But hearing him say he loved her made anger spill from her heart.
“Are you saying we should try being really married?” she asked.
“I am saying that I am really married to you. And I intend to keep it that way. I do not intend to get a divorce in the future. I know that you are hesitant because of what I did, but we can give ourselves time,” he said.
“Who says I am hesitant because of what you did?” Anya immediately protested, “Sure, your cruelty is hard to swallow, but why are you so sure that I am in love with you?”
Daniel raised a brow and buried his head into her neck.
“Baby, I love the air you breathe and the very ground you walk on. I want to put you on a
pedestal and worship you,” he answered as his gap on her tightened.
Anya found herself unable to breathe. She could feel his breath on her. It made her toes curl. Daniel easily got up and was hovering over her lips.
“When I close my eyes, I dream of you. When I wake, I want to love you thoroughly till you can’t move.” He said, his breath washing over her lips, making her shiver.
He took in her every reaction as he looked down at her and held her gaze, a satisfied smile worked up his face
“Oh, I know you are in love with me,” he said, and Anya snapped out of her daze with red cheeks and looked away. She could not believe that he actually teased her.
“Well, I don’t know what you know. Maybe you are just overconfident. I could be in love with someone else,” she said, and he did not reply for a while. After a while, she looked up at him still hovering over her and met his dark eyes.
He was no more smiling.
“I am a jealous man, baby. You are mine. When someone sets eyes on my things, I suddenly feel the urge to tear them from limb to limb. And you, baby, are my bottom line. A line I do not want people to cross with me. So, there will be no man. So, you should never say such things again, okay?” Daniel asked, and she snorted and tried to escape. This time he let her.
She was not sure how to react. She knew he was not angry, but she felt his possessiveness clearly this night. Her heart sang. He liked her.
Daniel watched her back him and settled behind her, wrapped an arm around her, and pulled
her to him.
Her words had triggered him, but he has to say that. As he looked at her lying still, he realized

if she really fell for another man, he would kill him
As Anya woke up to the sound of Daniel ordering breakfast, she found herself still hoking tightly to his hand.
Despite having taken a bath, he seemed unwilling to let go, his grip never leaving, He was
more attached to her than ever.
She glanced at him, a question forming on her lips.
“Can I throw away the wheelchair now?” she asked, her voice hopeful.
Daniel met her gaze, his eyes searching hers for a moment before he nodded. “We ca consider it, but only if we get the approval of a doctor first,” he replied.
Anya nodded in agreement, satisfied with his response. He then gestured towards the breakfast spread laid out before them. “Come eat,” he said gently.
She followed his lead, silently wondering why he wasn’t at work today. “Don’t you have work today?” she asked curiously.
He shook his head. “No, I finished all my inspections yesterday,” he explained.
She raised an eyebrow, puzzled. If he was done with work, why had he said they would be staying for three days? But she decided not to dwell on it, focusing instead on enjoying their breakfast
together. Property belongs to Nôvel(D)r/ama.Org.
Once they had finished eating, Anya dressed, and Daniel placed her in the wheelchair, wheeling her out of the hotel and towards the hospital. They arrived and checked in, waiting patiently for their turn to see a doctor.
When they were finally called in, Anya watched as the doctor examined her feet, a frown forming on her face. “Why are you still in a wheelchair?” the doctor asked, confusion evident
in her tone.
Anya shot Daniel a glare, silently cursing him for his overprotectiveness. “Someone was paranoid,” she muttered under her breath.
Daniel couldn’t help but chuckle at her response, earning him another glare from Anya. He quickly explained to the doctor that Anya had been moving around too much, causing her muscle pain, hence the need for the wheelchair.
The doctor nodded understandingly, examining Anya’s feet more closely. “Well, there’s no serious damage here; her muscles are basically healed. She instead needs more exercise,” she concluded. “You’re have to walk around more.”
Anya’s eyes lit up with excitement at the news, and she wasted no time in getting up from the wheelchair, eager to stretch her legs. The doctor checked her body one last time before sending them off to pay the bills.
As they left the hospital, Daniel couldn’t help but notice the smile on Anya’s face and the spring in her step as she walked beside him. “Are you that pleased?” he asked, unable to hide the amusement in his voice.
Anya smirked smugly, a mischievous glint in her eyes. “Yes. Every time I say I can get up, you say no. Now what will you say?” She replied simply, her satisfaction evident in every step she took
As Daniel sat in the back of the car, his gaze fixated on Anya. There was an intensity in his eyes that bordered on obsession.
Every detail of her face, every movement she made, seemed to captivate him completely. The way her hair fell in gentle waves around her shoulders, the curve of her lips as she spoke, the sparkle in her eyes.
Chapter 124 Have the ground you walk on-
He recalled last night, and his eyes darkened. He couldn’t get enough of her.
It was as if he was seeing her for the first time, as if every glance was a revelation, a reaffirmation of his deep–seated desire for her.
He couldn’t shake the feeling of possessiveness that washed over him whenever he looked at her. She was his muse, his obsession, and he couldn’t imagine a life without her. He fought the urge to take her home and ravage her.
The thought of anyone else touching her or holding her sent a surge of jealousy coursing through him. She belonged to him, body and soul, and he would do anything to keep her by
his side.
But the more he loved her, the more he was afraid of anything happening to her.
