The Billionaire Hit Woman

Chapter 12

NICHOLAS

As soon as he sees her walking down the stairs, his breath hitches in his throat. He has always found her beautiful, but she looks more than beautiful this night, and the beautiful smile on my face just made everything better. The tight black gown she wore did a lot of justice to her shape, bringing out all her curves in all the right areas, making him want to her there and then. Her breasts look fuller and it makes him mad with desire, as he pictures himself bury his head between them, and it made him so horny that he just wants to tear off her clothes and fuck her senseless. Her red hair was like fire drawing him towards her, like a moth draw to a flame and her innocent black eyes looked so perfect. She looks so stunning. Fuck! She’s beautiful and has so much effect on me. He thinks to himself, not being able to take his eyes off her as she descends down the stairs.

“Hey, how do I look?” She asks as soon as she stops in front of him, and his eyes move to her lips, not being to think of anything other than how her lips would taste.

“Ravishing.” He said without thinking, making her smile.

“What? So, you’re calling me food now?” She asks with her hands on her waist.

“Yes, and you look so beautiful, I just want to taste you.” He grins making her roll her eyes.

“Thank you, you don’t look bad yourself.” She says and he grins.

“Shall we?” He asks holding his hand out to her.

“Of course, let’s go.” She says and puts her hand in his hand, as they walk out of the mansion. Nick stops to lock the door, and afterwards, leads her to his car.

“After you Milady.” He says, opening the front seat for her. Cassy smiles a thank you before entering. He closes the door after her, and walks briskly to the driver’s seat, and starts the engine, before driving out of the compound, and towards their destination. Soon, they reach the restaurant, with Nick still being the gentle man that he appears to be. He opens the door for her and leads her to the VIP section of the restaurant, where it will just be the both of them, and then brings out her seat for her to sit in.

“Thank you.” She says as soon as she takes her seat. He smiles at her and then takes his seat directly opposite her, their legs brushing under the table. A waiter in a black tuxedo walks towards them with a jug of water and two glasses. He drops the glasses on the table and then fills it with water and then hands them the menus.

“Good evening sir and ma, what would you like to order today?” He asks politely.

“I would love to have carbs, oysters and some spicy shrimp soup.” Nicholas says, looking at the menu and the waiter writes it down on his note pad before turning to Cassandra, “Ma’am”

“I would love to try Thai style fried noodles and red curry please.” She smiles, dropping the menu on the table.

“Okay” He says and writes down her orders too. “Is that all or would you like anything to drink with your dinner?” He asks, looking at them both. This content is © NôvelDrama.Org.

“What drinks do you suggest with Thai food?” Nick asks him, dropping his menu to the table.

“Pinot Noirs and Gamays” The wait says and Cassy starts to laugh.

“We will have the Pinot Noirs thank you.” Nick says and the waiter leaves to get their orders.

“Why did you laugh?” He asks her

“What he said sounded funny. What is pinot Noirs and Gamays though?” She asks still laughing.

“He means red wine and grape wine.” He explains, smiling at how beautiful she looks when laughing.

She stops laughing, wiping away the tears in her eyes with her hands. “He should have just said red wine and grape wine, what’s up with the ‘Pinot Noirs and Gamays.’?” She says, mimicking the Waiter’s voice.

“Well, he is most likely trying to make it sound more attractive.” He says and she nods, smiling, “You know you are the prettiest when you smile Cassandra.” He says out of the blue.

“Umm… I don’t know what to say, but thank you… I guess.” She says, making him laugh.

“You are just so vibrant, and appreciative of everything, and I love how fascinated you get when you discover knew things. You’re different from other girls I’ve met, because you are just yourself. You never try to be who you are not ” He says.

“Thank you but please, stop making me cringe. I might just lose my appetite.” She laughs.

“Well, ouch!” He says, placing his hands on his chest in mock hurt, and making her laugh. The waiter comes back with their food, and leaves.

“Bon appetite.” Nick says to her, as they start eat

“So, tell me about you.” Cassy says, starting up a conversation.

“Well, there’s nothing much to say about me.”

“Come one. You asked me about myself, and I told you, and here you are, trying to avoid talking about yourself, not fair if you ask me.” She says, frowning so as to make Nick feel bad.

“Urgh… Fine, I’ll talk about myself, but I’m not exactly good at introducing myself. I just don’t know how to do it.” He says, feeling embarrassed.

Cassy sees this and laugh, “So? It’s normal for people to not know how to introduce themselves, there’s nothing to feel bad about in that. So, tell me about yourself, Mr. Nicholas Bennett.”

He drops his cutleries on his plate, and clears his throat. He picks up the glass of water by his side and takes a sip, before clearing his throat again.

“What’s up with you?” She laughs, “It’s just you and I here, and you’re not making a presentation to the whole country, so chill.” She says, dabbing her eyes dry with the tissue on the table.

Nick smiles, “Well, I’m Nicholas Bennett and I… I’m a millionaire that melts the heart of ladies, I own-”

“Okay, I don’t want to know about your achievements or how girls are dying to be with you, I want know you, and not the millionaire. Okay, tell me about your family.” Cassy cuts in, rolling her eyes at Nick’s ever existing ego.

Nick doesn’t want to talk about his family, he doesn’t like talking about them. He thinks for a while before finally speaking. “Well, as you know, I’m also an only child like you, and I’m closer to my mum than my dad. My dad is also a businessman, but he has his own company, and my mum is a baker, and boy is she good…” He smiles sadly and continues, “I remember when she would teach me how to cook and I’d run away because I didn’t really enjoy cooking, and how I’d stick my hand, not my finger, in the cake batter whenever she was baking cakes, and then run away, while she chases me playfully with a spoon-” He laughs at the memory, and Cassy laughs too.

“-She was an amazing woman, my mum, and I loved her so much. She was very pretty too, extremely pretty, an epitome of beauty, and whenever she took me to the market to get foodstuffs, I’d glare at any guy that ogled her, or make perverted remarks about her, or even look at her ass, because my mum had a very huge ass. Sometimes, I wondered how she carried it, without it weighing her down. Whenever I was down, she’d tell me soothing words, and do her best to cheer me up. I used to tell her everything because we were best friends, although she was super strict with me as well-” He becomes shaky, as he holds back the tears in his eyes that are threatening to fall.

“-When she fell sick, I did everything in my power to take care of her. I’d prepare her meals even though I was a terrible cook, and although it tasted bad, she’d still eat it, and tell me I was the best cook she had ever met. She still tried to help me with my problems despite her condition, and when she died, I felt the world end. I cried nonstop for months, but eventually, I got over it, and began working towards being a great person like she had always wished for me, and here I am.” He concluded, smiling sadly.

“I’m so sorry.” Cassy says, holding his hands, and giving them a light squeeze, “What about your father?”

“He was always working, and doing whatever… The food is getting cold, let’s eat.” He smiles, changing the topic, and Cassy nods, understanding that he didn’t have a good relationship with his father. The date continued, with Nick cracking jokes, and making Cassy laugh hard.

CASSANDRA

“I hope I didn’t ruin our date by talking about my mum.” Nick says as he pulls up in his driveway.

“Of course not, the date was amazing and it’s so great the relationship you had with your mother, like that of my dad and I, so I understand you.” I say, understanding the pain and agony he must have felt when his mother died. It wasn’t easy for me as well, when my father died, I cried nonstop, and it seemed the world had ended, but I got through it, and he lives on in my heart. “I can’t believe we emptied the entire bottle of red wine.” I laugh, changing the topic as Nick and I step out of the car, and walk towards the door, so as to lighten the mood, it is just too sad.

“We couldn’t waste it since we already paid for it.” Nick says, opening the doors to the mansion, and locking it behind us as soon as we’re inside.

“I thought rich people don’t mind wasting money, and spending lavishly.” She says, facing him with a questioning look.

“Well, I don’t know the definition of rich people in your head, but I assure you I’m not like that. Even if other rich people spend their money anyhow, I don’t do that. If I pay for something, then I must use it completely.” He says

“That’s a first I have heard from a rich person.” I say, smiling.

“Do you know plenty rich people? Because you sure seem to talk a lot about how ill-mannered they are, but you shouldn’t judge everyone by one man’s standards.” He says.

“Okay, I’m sorry, and No, I don’t know any rich person, apart from you.” I say. I don’t actually know a lot of rich people, except Frank and Victoria, but I can’t actually call Victoria a friend, she’s such a witch, and she’s also kind of like… a boss to me, paying me to kill someone, and here I am, laughing with him. I made up my mind that I was going to kill Nicholas today after dinner and yet here we are laughing together when I should have killed him already.

“What are you thinking of?” He asks me.

“Sorry, it’s just I have never lived like this before, in a big mansion with a friend to joke around with, clothes to wear and all this. It’s a lot to process in and I am trying to take it all in, but I’m just glad I met you.” I say honestly, but not entirely honest.

“Well get used to it because you will be living like this for as long as you want.” He says, making me smile and I hate it. I hate the fact that he makes me happy, he makes me laugh and for some reason, I like this feeling, but I don’t want to because it will make it increasingly hard to kill him but I can’t let my resolve falter now, I have to kill him.

“What do you mean?” I ask him and he smiles.

“I’m telling you to get used to feeling like this, all pampered up because I want you to keep feeling like his. I want you to keep living here with me.” He says and then hugs me. I gasp as his hands close around my waist, but I guess this is my chance. I grab the pocket knife gently and try to stab him with the knife.

“You’re amazing Cassandra,” He says, and I stop, quickly putting back the pocket knife, “Goodnight” He plants a kiss on my forehead, leaving me stunned, and then lets me go before walking up the stairs to his room leaving me with my mouth wide open and my hand on my forehead where he just kissed me.

Oh, shit! You’re screwed Cassandra. I didn’t kill him… again, and he kissed me. My life’s really going great. I walk to my room, and take off my clothes till I’m only in my panties, still stunned by his and my actions tonight. I wear a short night gown, and plop down on my bed, drifting to sleep.
