Chapter 29
Happy reading….
The woman walked slowly out of the room while returning her consciousness to one hundred percent. Until she reached the living room and saw a man sleeping on his stomach on the sofa, her steps stopped for a moment.
Elena took a deep breath and walked over to Jayden who was still fast asleep there. She don’t know when the man came and why he didn’t wake Elena?
“Jay? Wake up, Jay!” said Elena softly shaking Jayden’s shoulder.
There was a slight moan from the man’s mouth. Slowly he opened his eyes to look at Elena with the sad look of someone who just woke up.
“Why don’t you go straight to your room? Why are you sleeping here?” asked Elena. Even though her voice sounded angry, she was actually worried. The weather was getting colder and Jayden could have a fever. He was only wearing a light shirt without a blanket.
“I was too tired when I came last night,” Jayden replied, getting out of bed. Sitting next to Elena while stretching his stiff neck muscles.
“What did that woman do to make you tired, honey?” asked Elena clinging to Jayden’s body. Two days without seeing each other, it felt like Elena really missed Jayden’s masculine scent.
“Sorry, Elena. But I’m really tired,” said Jayden releasing Elena’s arms that were wrapped around his waist. “I have to rest now,” he continued, leaving Elena. The woman’s brow furrowed.
Did Jayden just turn her down?
Elena snorted in annoyance. For the first time Jayden was cold to her. No matter how tired the man was he would never push Elena away. In fact Jayden would pull Elena to hug or kiss but earlier, Elena really couldn’t accept it.
While Elena was wrestling with her emotions, Jayden himself felt extremely dizzy like he had just drunk too much alcohol.
His mind was still messed up because of Hera. Jayden had tried to keep him from thinking about Hera but still she seemed to be shadowing him. Even Jayden didn’t care that it was two o’clock in the morning he left the house hoping that if he was away from Hera then he could get her out of his mind. But Jayden was wrong, he kept thinking about Hera.
“Huh….” There was a heavy sigh from the man’s mouth. Even though he has a lot of work to do, it seems Jayden can’t come to the office today.Copyright by Nôv/elDrama.Org.

In the large room there was not the slightest bit of chatter. Both Elena and Jayden were lost in their own thoughts.
Yes. Elena thought of Jayden because since Hera’s home he had been cold to her. Even until now they were watching television together, Jayden let the television sound dominate.
It’s enough. Elena couldn’t take it anymore.
“What exactly happened to you, Jayden?” asked Elena breaking the silence.
The man turned. Raised one eyebrow. “What do you mean?”
Elena grimaced. “You’re still asking what I mean? Ever since you came back from Hera’s house you’ve been cold to me, Jayden. Haven’t you noticed?” asked Elena in a very demanding tone.
Jayden took a deep breath. “Never mind, Elena. I’m lazy to talk about it,” he said about to leave but Elena immediately held the man’s hand.
“But I demand an explanation from you. What has that woman done to make you turn like this to me. You’ve never behaved like this, Jayden. Have you started—”
“ENOUGH ELENA!!!” Jayden snapped loudly making the woman in front of him speechless with a trembling body. For the first time Jayden snapped at the woman. Jayden’s chest rose and fell as his irises stared intently at Elena. Slowly the gaze dimmed as Elena’s eyelids began to fill with tears. And just as Elena’s tears fell down her cheeks, Jayden left without saying anything.
It’s useless Jayden stays there. Because Jayden will only hurt Elena even more because he still can’t explain what happened to him. And Jayden didn’t want that.
Elena stared blankly at Jayden’s back which finally disappeared behind the bedroom door. She couldn’t lose like this. Anything Elena would do to keep Jayden by her side. Elena would not let Hera win again.
The woman wiped her tears roughly and took the cell phone that was on the table. Pressing the call button on Hera’s number, Elena put the phone to her ear.
“What is it?” asked Hera unceremoniously behind the phone.
“I wanted to meet you,” said Elena, also not wanting to make small talk.
“Okay. Tell me where we should meet,” Hera said after a moment of silence.
“I’ll send the address,” replied Elena and then ended the call unilaterally.

Elena watched Hera’s steps towards the table she was sitting on. The woman with shoulder-length hair sat in front of Elena with a flat gaze.
“Why do you want to meet me?” asked Hera.
“Looks like you don’t want to waste time, Hera,” said Elena with a mocking smile.
“Did you want to see me longer?”
“Not really.”
They looked away at each other. Actually, Elena didn’t want to have anything to do with Hera anymore. But circumstances forced her to meet face to face again with the woman she hated so much.
“I wanted to ask, what happened between you and Jayden when he got home?” asked Elena after taking a sip of the hot drink she ordered.
“Nothing happened. What’s the matter? Is Jayden acting weird with you?” asked Hera chuckling a little like she was making fun of Elena.
Elena’s grip on her glass tightened. The woman seemed to deliberately want to provoke her emotions. Damn woman.
“Don’t lie, Hera!” said Elena emphatically.
“Why would I lie, Elena. It won’t do me any good,” Hera replied as calmly as possible. She was also more or less curious about what had happened to Elena and Jayden to make the long-haired woman look very uneasy.
“Even before he left the house we had a big fight,” Hera said making Elena look at her deeply. She don’t know what Hera meant by saying that but she thought that Elena should know that.
Hera took a deep breath and let it out. Her black irises now met Elena’s gaze.
“So if you guys fight too you have to ask yourself, Elena. Maybe Jayden is getting tired of you,” Hera said then smirked.
It’s enough. Elena’s patience had run out. She raised her hand to slap Hera but someone from beside them stopped her.
Suddenly Elena and Hera looked at the figure confused.
“Dare to touch it … you’re dealing with me,” said the figure making Elena and Hera flinch.
Who’s she?
