Stuck In The Wrong Marriage

Chapter 28

Happy reading….

Viona looked at Haidar who was half conscious. The man put his face on the table with one hand as a support.

“I don’t know how much he drank,” mumbled Viona looking at a few bottles of alcohol on the table. The girl looked around the place. When her beautiful round eyes saw the two men, she called out to us.

“Could you please get this man into my car?” Viona asked politely not forgetting to smile sweetly.

A smile that instantly made the two men in front of him blush. Who can resist the charm of a beautiful and sexy girl like Viona.

“Sure, miss!” answered one of them.

“Thank you,” she said then looked down. The woman then shook Haidar’s shoulder lightly. “Haidar, wake up! We have to go home now!” she said but the man just muttered incoherently.

“Pick him up!” Viona ordered the two men as she walked first to Haidar’s car.

On the way, Viona occasionally turned to Haidar who was already drunk.

As long as she knew the slanted-eyed man, this was the first time Viona had seen his so drunk. Haidar is the type of person who has a high tolerance for alcoholic beverages and if he gets drunk like this, it indicates that Haidar is facing a very serious problem.

“I don’t know what made him stressed like this,” Viona muttered, sighing tiredly and then focused on driving again.

Arriving at the apartment, Viona was again assisted by two staff who worked there. Compared to Haidar, Viona’s body is very small so she can’t possibly support Haidar alone. Not to mention that the man’s apartment is on the 15th floor. Viona could break her bones if she had to carry the man alone.

“Thank you very much,” said Viona to the two men who had helped her carry Haidar into the room.

“You’re welcome. Then we’ll excuse ourselves,” one of them said goodbye. Viona nodded slowly.

There was another sigh from Viona’s mouth when she turned to Haidar who was already lying resignedly on the bed. The girl helped take off the shoes and jacket that Haidar was wearing. She faintly heard Haidar muttering softly.

“Hera…” Haidar whispered with his eyes still closed.

Viona looked at him confused. “Hera? Who is Hera? Is it Haidar’s girlfriend?”

“Hera, why did you reject me when I love you so much? Why Hera?” Haidar again raved even he sounded like he was crying.

Viona was silent there. She looked at Haidar with a look that was difficult to interpret. And without saying anything the girl came out of Haidar’s room.

The sun was already overhead and the man had just woken up from his sleep. He don’t know if he’s sleeping or he’s passed out but his head hurts a lot right now.

“Ah!” moaned Haidar gently massaging his temples. He walked towards the bathroom to clean himself up before heading to the kitchen for breakfast.

“Are you awake?” said Viona looked at Haidar for a moment then looked back at the cellphone which was playing her favorite cartoon.

“You picked me up last night?” asked Haidar sitting down in front of Viona. On the table was a bowl of anti-inflammatory soup that Haidar believed Viona had ordered for him. Besides, she can’t cook.

“Who else is it?” said Viona without even looking at Haidar.

“Thanks very much.” The words sounded very flat but Viona knew that Haidar was sincere.

The girl in the training clothes lowered her cell phone. Putting the plate of used food aside and piling her hands on the table, she looked at Haidar with a mischievous smile. Making the man who was busy eating his soup became a little uncomfortable.

“What?” asked Haidar.

“I didn’t think you were so good at lying now.”

“What? Who? Me?” asked Haidar pointing to himself as if he didn’t know anything.

Viona snorted. “Aish!” The girl then folded her arms across her chest. “You say that you already have a lover even though you are still in the stage of approaching her,” Viona growled, looking at Haidar sarcastically.

Haidar grumbled in his heart. He don’t know what he said when he was drunk to get him stuck in an embarrassing situation.

“Whatever I said last night, forget it. I must be just babbling incoherently,” said Haidar without dropping his eyes on Viona.

“Ha ha ha!” Viona’s laughter just exploded there. Haider’s brow furrowed.

“Hei! Why are you even laughing?”

“You’re so funny, Haidar. Hahaha!” Viona laughed again, even her stomach felt cramped. “You want me to forget everything you said last night? That’s impossible,” she continued and laughed again.

Haidar flinched. Looking worriedly at Viona. Really he was very curious about what he had said that Viona mocked him like that?

“You want to know what you said to me last night?” asked Viona challenging Haidar.

“N–no,” said Haidar against his heart. Even though under any circumstances he must still look authoritative.

“Tsk! Liar!” said Viona then leaned her face slightly towards Haidar. “You said that you were just rejected by the woman you like, Haidar,” she said almost in a whisper.

Oh shit! So Haidar actually said such embarrassing things?

“This is new history! A Haidar Pratama was rejected by a woman to the point of stressing his to the point of getting drunk. Isn’t that phenomenal?” Viona said so excitedly ended with a laugh that made Haidar even more embarrassed.

“Stop it!” Haidar shouted rising from his seat. “You’re just making my mood worse!” he said again then left from there leaving Viona who was still looking at him with a mocking smile.

“And you better get out of here as soon as I can before I kick you out!” said Haidar again before completely disappearing behind his bedroom door.

Know what Haidar said earlier was not serious. If he really wanted to expel Viona, of course, since the woman came, Haidar could immediately kick her out, but he didn’t. The man’s character can be cold and seem indifferent, but behind that he is a man who is very caring and can’t stand it, especially for the people he cares about.

Viona looked with a curious smile towards the door of Haidar’s room.

“Tsk! What an annoying man,” said Viona. “But I wonder who the woman who made Haidar fall in love like this,” she said again.

Her gaze fell on the soup on the table. There’s still a lot left. Viona rolled her eyes lazily.

“Looks like the mission to find out about that woman has been postponed. I have to persuade my naughty baby to finish his food,” Viona muttered, taking the bowl and walking towards Haidar’s room.
