Chapter 303
Chapter 303
"You'd better leave now!" The receptionist screamed at Finley.
Although the receptionist hated Finley, she couldn't do anything about him. Seeing him barge into the
lobby, the receptionist immediately wanted to drive him out.
Finley turned his gaze and saw Coralie next to her.
Coralie was different from the receptionist. She was more mature, and her hair was flowing over her
shoulders. She looked very feminine.
Finley smiled and said, "Who is this beautiful woman? Are you here as a guest?" Finley then entered
the lobby. He couldn't help but look at Coralie and said, "I welcome you on behalf of the company!"
"Finley, you're crazy!" The receptionist shouted.
Seeing that Finley was about to attack Coralie, the receptionist wanted to stop him.
Before she could take any action, Coralie had already reached out for Finley's arm, gave it a tug and
twisted it around, rendering Finley unable to fight back!
This was something Coralie learned when she was in S country. It was a simple technique to use
against sexual harassers. With minimal strength, one could overpower a larger attacker with this
method.
"Let go of me! It hurts!"
Finley's face was read with pain. He didn't expect that Coralie, who looked soft and weak, would be
able to disable him in such a short time.
"How can there be an employee like you here?" Coralie said.
Earlier, when Finley teased the receptionist, she did not have a reason to butt in. However, now, Finley
had attacked Coralie. Although Coralie was disliked by Amenda, Houston still acknowledged Coralie
and she was not afraid of Finley.
"Do you know who I am? Let go of me!"
Finley was pinned down by Coralie and his hands were twisted behind his back. He was in great pain
and he shouted, attracting the other people in the company over.
"Tell me then, who are you?" Coralie asked.
She never thought Finley would mention anyone she knew. Her hunch was that at best, he was a
relative of the Zac family.
"Let’s forget about it. Miss Chariott, you should leave quickly now," the receptionist hurriedly said to
Coralie.
The receptionist knew that Finley was related to the Zac Family, so she wanted Coralie to leave quickly.
In fact, Coralie did not want to cause trouble. She only wanted to take the documents she needed and
leave as soon as possible.
"F*ck! I'll have you know that my backer is Young Master Zac's fiancée! How dare you provoke me? I'll
make sure you can never return to A City!"
While Finley spoke, he did not dare raise his head. After all, Coralie was pressing down on his arm,
and it was painful for him.
"The Young Master's fiancée?"
According to what Coralie knew, the young master should be Jasper. That would mean his fiancée...
Coralie helped Jasper deal with Amenda in the past for Valerie's sake. If nothing changed, his fiancée
should still be Valerie.
"Yes! Scared now? Let go of me!"
Finley said.
Raising her hands, Coralie let him go. She was not afraid of Valerie, but she failed to comprehend.
Valerie was also born with a silver spoon in her mouth. Although she was polite to others, she liked to
put on airs and never took anyone seriously.
Why would Valerie stand up for such a little gangster?
"The person you're referring to, her surname is Rae?"
Coralie tried to confirm.
Finley was surprised to hear that Coralie had guessed the right surname. The surname Rae was rare in
A City. Almost everyone who went by that surname were the relatives of the Rae family.
"Yes, how do you know her? If you know her, you should ask her who I am! How dare you hit me
today?"
Finley was not afraid. He knew that Valerie would not let anything happen to him. Valerie would
definitely protect him!
"Oh, just as I thought."
Coralie glanced briefly at Finley and left with her documents.
She was going to meet Skylar today; she did not have time to waste on this stranger.
"Don't go. I’m not done with you yet!"
Finley had been in jail for ten years and suffered a lot there. It was not easy for him to get Valerie's
support after coming out. How could he let a mere woman bully him?
Finley approached closer, wanting to grab Coralie.
Coralie was in a hurry to leave and paid no heed to him. Finley then threw himself forward, pushing
Coralie onto the ground.
"That's enough!"
The security captain, who had been terrified, finally spoke. A few more people walked over, and they
seemed to be the higher-ups of the company.
"How dare you stop me? Didn't you see this woman hit me just now?"
Finley had only been employed for two days, and he couldn't care less about anyone. Finley was
putting on airs, trying to vent all the bottled-up rage he accumulated in prison over the years.
"You've already caused enough trouble in the company, and now, you're trying to disgrace us outside
the company too?"
The security captain pretended to scold Finley, hoping that Coralie would leave quickly.
"Disgraceful? I'll tell you what, I won't let her leave today!"
Finley thought that Coralie was just a simple errand girl. He had the support of Valerie, why would he
be afraid of Coralie?
"Miss Chariott, please leave quickly. Alas!"
The receptionist urged Coralie to leave quickly. Coralie checked her watch and thought, "If I don't leave
now, I won't be able to send the stuff on time today."
Coralie was about to leave, but Finley ran straight at her, lying down shamelessly at her feet. He said,
"You hit me, and I'm hurt. You need to bring me for a checkup!"
"Hehe."
Coralie was about to step over Finley when he reached out and grabbed her leg, shouting, "You want
to run away after beating me up? No way!"
At that moment, a slender figure appeared at the door.
"President Zac!"
Everyone looked up at the same time.
Coralie looked up at the door in front of her. Jasper walked in, dressed in a black suit and frames.
Jasper narrowed his eyes at the sight before him. Finley lay on the ground, grabbing onto Coralie's
legs. Jasper's expression hardened as he asked, "What's going on?"
Finley had not expected Jasper to return.
If Finley was afraid of anyone in this company, it would be Jasper. No matter how powerful Valerie was,
she was still under Jasper's control. If Jasper rejected Valerie, he would be no more significant than an
ant.
"President Zac, this woman is shameless. She bullied and hit me just because she thought I was a
lowly security guard!"Content bel0ngs to Nôvel(D)r/a/ma.Org.
Finley thought to himself, "Now that I'm already lying on the ground, I might as well go all the way and
blackmail Coralie!"
"Is that so?"
Jasper asked, looking at Finley with a hint of disgust.
It was because Valerie told him that Finley was a rascal. He was worried about Finley, so he came to
check on him on the second day of his employment. Jasper did not expect to be greeted with this sight.
Moreover, the target of his tantrum was not any random person, but Coralie!
"No!" The receptionist looked at Jasper and immediately spoke up for Coralie. "Miss Chariott came
here to collect some documents. Finley charged in without permission and was restrained by Miss
Chariott!"
When Finley heard the words of the receptionist, he said, "Miss, how can you do this to me? Am I not
nice enough to you?"
"Let go of her quickly!" Due to Valerie's relationship with Finley, there was nothing Jasper could do
about him. He could only say, "That leg you are holding onto belongs to my sister."
Hearing this, Finley was so shocked that he released her leg immediately. "Your sister?"
Finley's voice trembled as he spoke.
Coralie then lowered her head, looked carefully at Finley and asked him, "Haven't we met somewhere
before?"
