Chapter 277
Chapter 277
Seeing how excited she was, Isaac nodded. "It's Nik's birthday today, and that dude has a thing for whacky ideas."
Patricia glanced at all that he had prepared for her before approaching him. "Where were you, Mr. Arnold? You're a pretty busy man today," she commented as she wrapped her arms around his while leaning her head against his shoulder.
To that, Isaac stretched his free arm to her and shackled her in his arms. "I do have quite a few things to deal with today. Why? Did you miss me?"
He guided her to the couch as he spoke, and after sitting down, he pulled her into his lap.
Patricia wrapped her arms around Isaac's neck as she gawked at his ravishing face. What a hunk! There probably isn't a woman in this world who wouldn't like a man like him, is there? Sigh, how is it possible for someone to be hotter than Adonis?!
She didn't give him a straight answer but buried her head in his arms.
At the thought of what Courtney said to her, the thought of dating Isaac felt amazing as she leaned in his arms right then. NôvelDrama.Org holds © this.
That said, would they have a future together? She dared not imagine what possibility the future held and only wanted to cherish the present.
Meanwhile, Isaac tapped her lips as he inhaled her sweet but crisp perfume. "What perfume are you wearing?"
It smelled great, and it was similar to the girl's scent in his dream. Since he couldn't find her, he thought of Patricia as her, seeing it as a sort of consolation.
Patricia's eyes shifted reflexively. She hadn't used any perfume since getting pregnant, and even now, for they weren't good for children's sense of smell.
She drooped her eyelids with a smile, and her long, curly lashes cast a row of shadow beneath her eyes. "I'm not using any. Maybe the kids' body odor rubbed off on my shirt."
Since she did her laundry together with the triplets', hints of their sweet, milky body odor would stick to her clothes. She had made the discovery when she singled out her laundry. There was a distinct difference in smell compared to when she washed them with her kids' clothes.
A hint of a smile flashed across Isaac's eyes upon hearing her answer. "Well, it smells great."
With that, he placed his lips against the crook of her neck, closed his eyes, and took a big whiff of the sweet scent before planting a kiss.
Patricia felt as though a jolt of electricity had passed through her body, and she wanted to shove him away yet pull him in at the same time. It was a curious sensation.
Feeling encouraged, Isaac planted a trail of kisses, and it wasn't until her shirt was half open that she came to her senses. At that, she tugged his ear. "Arnold, I—stop!"
The man finally stopped after hearing her soft coo. However, a certain area had altered, and it was making him uncomfortable, so he looked deep into her eyes, pleading, "Trish, help me."
With that, he brought her into his lounge while she was still processing what he meant by that.
By the time it all ended, her face was as red as a rose, and she thought her right hand was going to fall off her arm.
Isaac, on the other hand, was all smiles as he leaned over to give her a peck on the lips. "Thank you, baby!"
Subsequently, he entered the bathroom while Patricia rolled around in bed.
Why in the world did I help him with that?! Also, why am I so excited just because he said thanks?! Not only that, I even want to tell him I'd help out again!
Mortified, she buried her scorching face in her hands.
Though still reeling in perplexity, she still got up, fixed her clothes, and lowered her head to check her body.
She wouldn't be surprised if he left marks everywhere. At that, she took a deep breath, hoping they would all fade away later. Otherwise, she could say goodbye to the stunning evening dress.
When Patricia returned to the office, everything was normal, and no one had entered.
Sometime after she sat back down at her desk and resumed work, Isaac came back out, still looking as dapper as ever.
As he returned to his desk, he looked over toward Patricia and found the girl burying her head in work, knowing full well that she dared not make eye contact because of her bashfulness.
Isaac deepened his gaze at that. Sure enough, a woman's hand was very different from a man's paw.
