Chapter 261
Chapter 261
As Isaac walked further ahead, the others followed suit, only leaving after they had inspected the entire place.
Isaac seemed to be in a good mood as he turned to Liam. "The blueprint has been decided. Use the one I designed. Draw up a contract and have her sign it."
At that, Liam looked at the young woman next to him, who was oblivious as she held her bag and stared at her dusty shoes. She was probably upset.
He sighed in response. Miss Aniston, you'll soon become a secret millionaire in Appleby. However, you're oblivious to it. Come to think of it, Boss sure spoils his woman! To think he can go as far as giving her an entire plot of land with construction included!
Liam was so envious that he even wished he was a woman right then—Isaac's woman, to be exact.
After returning to the car, Patricia wiped her shoes clean with a napkin. It was a pretty expensive pair of leather shoes, and who'd have thought she'd have to visit a construction site of all days?
I can't wear them anymore, can I? Just the thought of it pained her.
Just then, Patricia's phone rang. It was Sylvie. "Hey, Sweetie!" she answered.
"It's already 6.30PM, Tricia. Why haven't you come home yet?! Aren't we supposed to check out the new home?" Sylvie had been waiting all day, wishing 6.00PM would come sooner. Thus, she sat at the
entrance and waited until then. However, her dearest mother never showed up.
Patricia checked the time, and sure enough, it was already 6.35PM. She pursed her lips and said, "I'll come back right now. Wait for me."
With that, she ended the call and looked toward Isaac. "Mr. Arnold, can I get off work now? I have something personal to attend to."
In other words, she didn't want to join him for business dinners or whatnot anymore; she just wanted to go home. I hope he says yes.
It was only then Isaac put the blueprint down, checked the time, and said, "You can go after we have dinner."
It was already nearing dinner time. It'd be the same if she went home after dinner.
But to his dismay, Patricia shook her head in refusal. "I'm supposed to check out the new house today, Mr. Arnold. This is important, and the kids are all waiting for me. I really can't join you today.
With that, she turned to the chauffeur and said, "Tom, please drop me off at the junction ahead."
Isaac finally understood what she was getting at. "Which neighborhood are you looking at?"
Have you saved up enough to buy a house?! Well, that's quick.
To that, Patricia scratched her head. "Uh… Estrella Villa?"
Only then did she realize Isaac was staying in the same neighborhood, and they'd be neighbors in the future.
Isaac was rather surprised. Whoa, I didn't realize you're rich. To think she could afford housing in Estrella Villa.
At that, he gently rubbed the wolf ring on his index finger. "I happen to be free tonight. I'll check the place out with you, and you'll make dinner for me afterward. Don't forget you still owe me money."
Patricia naturally wouldn't turn him down if he brought this up.
"Okay!" she agreed after a while.
With that, Isaac told Tom to drive to Snowflake Lane to pick the triplets up. Property © NôvelDrama.Org.
As Tom was an excellent driver and her current residence was in Eastville, they arrived at her doorstep in about 15 minutes.
"You guys should drive ahead, Mr. Arnold. I'll follow right behind," said Patricia as she looked at the man beside her, who then glanced at her plainly.
"I'll drive. You guys can just sit in my car."
The next second, Tom felt a heavy impact coming from the back of his seat, and he blurted at once, "Time for me to get off work, Mr. Arnold. I'll see you tomorrow."
With that, he got out of the car and dashed away.
Meanwhile, Patricia watched as Tom walked away until he disappeared into the alley.
She blinked, believing this boss here wasn't the typical overbearing CEO. Rather, he was the ultimate big shot, and people would really leave as soon as he said the word.
That said, it was her and her triplet's honor to have the big guy himself drive them around.
Right as Patricia and Isaac got out of the car, the triplets came out while dressed neatly. Meanwhile, Josephine was dolled up with a bag in her hand, following them happily.
Well… they were now one person over the passenger limit.
