Chapter 277 What Kind of Man Are You?
The air stood still for several seconds. It was Haley Holt who spoke first. “This must be Luna, right? Orion has mentioned you before. Are you here to attend our wedding?” she said, smiling.
It was as if the previous incident had never happened.
Luna frowned. Orion had talked about her to Haley Holt? Was he using her as a topic of conversation with his current girlfriend?
Luna felt humiliated. She let out a cold laugh. “I’m here to wish you a happy marriage, wishing you a lifetime of happiness, a strong and loving bond, and the blessings of children.”
She then looked at Orion. “Your Orion is quite a playboy. You better hold on to him tightly and don’t let him get weak in the knees around other women.”
“Orion is not like that,” Haley Holt said, holding her voluminous wedding gown and walking towards them. She took Orion’s arm. “Today is our wedding day, and there are many guests to greet. The ceremony is about to begin. Why don’t you all head to the hall? We should be going too.”
She remained calm throughout. Not everyone could achieve her composure and patient, not even Freya. If it were her wedding with Elijah and she saw him kissing another woman, she would definitely go crazy. Orion didn’t dare to look at Luna and followed Haley Holt.
Zane couldn’t stand it. What did Orion mean? He was the one who pursued Luna first, took advantage of her, and now he was just abandoning her. Zane didn’t care. He rushed forward, grabbed Orion, and punched him in the face. “What kind of man are you?!”
Haley Holt got angry. “What are you doing? Why are you hitting him!”
Zane snorted coldly. “Because of his actions, because of how he bullies Luna!”
“My Orion is more of a man than you will ever be. He is a responsible and accountable man. What do you know?” Haley quickly went to check on Orion’s injuries, gently wiping the blood from the corner of his lips, her eyes filled with concern. “Orion, are you okay?”
Orion shook his head. “I’m fine.”
Orion glanced at Zane. “Today is my special day, and I won’t bother with you. But my wedding definitely doesn’t welcome you, security!”
Soon, several security personnel entered the scene.
“Mr Russo,” one of them addressed Orion.
Orion pointed at Zane. “Throw him out.”
Zane snorted coldly. “I’ll leave if I want to. I don’t need you to kick me out. I don’t even respect a man like you.” After saying that, he looked at Luna. Luna didn’t look at Orion and took the initiative to hold Zane’s hand. “Let’s go.”
Orion stared at Luna’s retreating figure, his gaze deepening. Haley Holt noticed Orion’s gaze and stood in front of him. “Orion, the wedding is about to begin. Let’s go. Your parents, my parents, they’re all waiting for us. We can’t disappoint them.” Her hint was clear as day.
Orion could only nod. “Yes, let’s go.” He remembered Freya and looked at her. “Freya, why don’t you come to the wedding too?”
Freya nodded.
“She is…” Haley Holt asked.
Orion interrupted her. “I’ll introduce her later.”This is the property of Nô-velDrama.Org.
Haley Holt smiled sweetly. “Okay.”
Freya returned to the hall where Elijah was surrounded by many people. He stood out among the crowd like a star. She didn’t approach him, instead finding a spot at the edge and grabbing a glass of juice.
“Excuse me, are you Freya Stone, Miss Stone?” a waiter approached and asked. Freya set down her juice and inquired, “What’s the matter?”
The waiter explained, “There’s a note here that someone asked me to deliver to you.” As he spoke, he handed her the note.
