You Are My Mr Right

Chapter 267 Edric Lowe’s Fate

Sivin Peters was surprised, “You don’t know?”

Freya chuckled self-deprecatingly, “You don’t think he would consult with me about what he does, right?”

Sivin Peters quickly explained, “No.”

He sighed again, “Eric Lowe had a car accident on the way to the airport. The scene was gruesome, the driver died on the spot, and Eric Lowe was severely injured. Luckily, he was rescued in time, or he would have died too. It’s too coincidental, should it be Elijah’s doing?”

Freya tightly pursed her lips, not responding. Knowing Elijah’s personality, it wouldn’t surprise her if he did this.

“No evidence, no speculations,” Freya said in a calm tone, “He’s not dead, that’s lucky enough.” But deep down, she knew it must have been Elijah. She still understood him to some extent.

Joan Nash died, and Eric Lowe survived the horrific car accident. It seemed like he had an extraordinary fate.

“Well, I’ve done my best for him.” Sivin sighed. Ever since the incident with Joan Nash, he had exhausted all his favors. Take, for example, how he covered up Joan Nash’s death as a surgical mistake. It damaged the hospital’s reputation. Fortunately, he still had some face and favors left with the director who didn’t hold him accountable. And if a doctor’s mistake causes death, they can be held legally responsible if the family of the deceased pursues it. But because Freya was Elijah’s wife, he didn’t do anything to her. Otherwise, she wouldn’t be able to come to work.

“Dr Peters.” Ronan walked quickly from the corridor, pretending not to see Freya, and said to Sivin Peters, “I need to arrange for discharge. They said they need a consent form from this side. Can you sign it for me?”

“Sure.” Sivin Peters took out a pen from his pocket and was about to sign when he looked at Freya and asked, “Can she be discharged?”

Freya replied, “The patient has recovered well and can go home for rest.”

Ronan’s mother was the one Freya operated on, so Sivin Peters needed to consult her opinion. Upon learning that he could be discharged, Sivin Peters immediately signed the form. Ronan had wanted to talk to Freya, but she completely ignored him. He was furious, “Just like Elijah, both cut from the same cloth.”

“Ronan, do you know why I like Elijah?”

Ronan asked with great interest, “Why?”NôvelDrama.Org owns © this.

“Because he does more than he says, unlike you with so many words.” Freya said.

Ronan felt a hundred points of impact at this moment. Did she have to be so direct? Didn’t he have any dignity?

“Humph, isn’t he just slightly better-looking than me? Clearly, you desire his face, but insist on talking so nobly,” Ronan felt dissatisfied, but he couldn’t win against her, so he could only try to make up for it with words. Freya couldn’t be bothered to waste her breath on him, but she still had things to do. “I’ll go check on your mother.”

Ronan quickly followed along, ingratiatingly saying, “Sure.”

Inside the hospital room, Freya saw Ronan’s mother. She had recovered well, with a rosy complexion and a lively spirit. Freya examined her wound and saw that it had healed nicely. She gave some instructions, “Don’t get angry, keep a cheerful mood, exercise appropriately, and eat light meals.”

“Okay, thank you.” Seren smiled.

Ronan looked at her, “We’ll be leaving today.”

Freya said, “Wishing you a smooth journey.”

Ronan pouted and said, “I thought you would say the next line.”

“The next line? What?” she asked, puzzled.
