You Are My Mr Right

Chapter 255 Igniting Passion

Linda replied, “It was delivered by a courier service. I don’t know who’s getting married.”

She hadn’t opened the invitation, so she had no idea who it was for. Freya, however, was curious. She picked up the invitation from the table and opened it, only to see Orion’s name. Her eyes twitched involuntarily. “Orion is getting married.”

She quickly scanned the card and saw the name Haley Holt written as the bride.

This woman, was she the one who had been involved with Orion?

Freya’s expression darkened.

Hadn’t Orion just broken up with Luna a few days ago? And now he was getting married so soon. How would Luna feel if she found out? It must be so painful for her.

Sighing, Freya couldn’t help but feel sorry for her friend. Elijah glanced at her but remained silent. He was acquainted with Orion, but he didn’t pry into his personal affairs. At the same time, he didn’t want Freya to dig too deep either.

“Orion is an adult. He knows what he’s doing. You don’t need to worry about him,” Elijah reassured her.

Freya understood. “I’m just concerned about my good friend Luna. As for Orion getting married, it’s his choice, and nobody can interfere with that.”

Elijah nodded. “As long as you understand.”

“But Orion certainly didn’t waste any time. He spent such a long time with Luna without entering the realm of marriage, and now with this Haley Holt, it happened so quickly…” Freya trailed off.

Suddenly, Elijah grabbed her wrist and led her towards the bedroom.

Freya asked, “What are you doing?”

Elijah didn’t say a word. Inside the room, he pulled her close, closed the door behind them, and pressed her against it, kissing her passionately. Freya was stunned.

“What are you doing, Elijah…” she struggled slightly.

“Hmm, let’s have another child,” he said.

In truth, Elijah felt lost and empty inside. It was only when he was with Freya that he truly felt alive. He felt like a living, breathing person only with her. Freya’s mouth went dry. Elijah had a way of easily igniting her passion. But she was rational, clear-headed.

“Kai is still young. Let’s wait until he’s a little older…” she trailed off.

Elijah suddenly stopped, his gaze fixed on her. “So, you’ve been using contraception all this time?”

Freya was surprised. Elijah placed a bottle of vitamin C in front of her. Freya hurriedly explained, “It wasn’t intentional.”

“Hmm?” Elijah was willing to give her a chance to explain.

But Freya couldn’t bring herself to say it. If she mentioned it was for work, Elijah would definitely be unhappy. Instead, she hugged Elijah’s waist and looked up at him. “It’s not that I don’t want a child, but I feel like Kai is still young. I thought we could wait until Kai is a bit older before we have another…”

“Is that so?” Elijah had already seen through her thoughts.

It was simply because she was afraid it would affect her work.

He told Freya seriously, “I love children, especially daughters.”Content bel0ngs to Nôvel(D)r/a/ma.Org.

Freya nodded. “I understand.”

She remembered Liora and said, “Do you know that Liora isn’t dead?”

“Hmm?” Elijah genuinely didn’t know this.

“She’s alive, and she had plastic surgery and changed her name. She married Rylan.”

Elijah narrowed his eyes. No wonder when he saw Rylan getting married, the bride bore a resemblance to Liora. So she had undergone plastic surgery. The thought of Liora harming Freya and causing her to lose a child intensified his hatred towards Liora.

Freya didn’t want Liora to complicate things with Elijah at this moment. The most important thing was Joan Lowe’s situation. So she said, “She won’t have it easy. She got rid of Rylan’s child, and Rylan won’t spoil her anymore. Right now, the main focus is Joan Lowe’s situation. I have the CT scan images of her brain, and I want to consult a neurologist to find out what’s going on.”

Elijah said, “I’ll arrange for a specialist.”

Freya nodded. Elijah knew that Freya was deliberately changing the subject and playfully booped her nose. “Being clever, aren’t you?”

Freya bit her lip, acting coy. “Well, it’s because I’m with you.”

Elijah chuckled, successfully amused. “You’re clever because of me?”

“Yes,” Freya laughed.

Elijah’s gaze grew deep, and he suddenly burst into laughter. Freya found him inexplicable and asked, “What are you laughing at?”
