How could Elijah be here? And with Joan Lowe?

Taking advantage of Eric Lowe’s momentary lapse, Freya quickly walked over to Elijah’s side and whispered, “This Joan Lowe, her original name is Joan Nash.”

She knew that as soon as she mentioned the name, Elijah would understand. Elijah lowered his gaze to look at her, surprised that she would say such a thing to him. Did she know that he was investigating Joan Lowe? But now wasn’t the time for him to ask her that question. The reason he came to the hospital was because Evan found out that Joan Lowe had come here. He met her in the corridor and followed her here.

Eric Lowe was afraid that Elijah had come to take Joan Lowe away from him, so he quickly pulled her behind him. He stared at Elijah with caution and vigilance. “What do you want?”
