You Are My Mr Right

Chapter 249 I Want a Daughter

Freya couldn’t dodge in time, and her teary-eyed expression fell into Elijah’s eyes without warning. His gaze paused briefly before returning to calmness.

“Are you feeling wronged?” he asked.

Freya forcefully wiped her face and stubbornly replied, “No.”

“I see.” Elijah replied, turning around and heading towards the bathroom.

Freya clenched her fists, infuriated by Elijah’s indifference. Ignoring everything, she rushed over and blocked his path. “You still don’t trust me, do you? Fine, fine, fine. I’m going out to cuckold you right now!”Content © copyrighted by NôvelDrama.Org.

She finished her words in a fit of anger and tried to run away. But Elijah quickly grabbed her wrist.

He snorted and chuckled. “Are you going out to cuckold me?”

Freya struggled hard, saying, “Since you don’t trust me anyway, I might as well make it true and save you from getting angry for no reason…”

With only a fraction of his strength, Elijah pulled her into his arms. He held her tightly, one hand gripping her chin. The pain made tears well up in Freya’s eyes. She struggled even harder. “Let me go…”

Elijah leaned down and forcefully kissed her, silencing her words. His kiss was deep, his bites fierce, and his possessiveness overwhelming. Freya could barely resist, trembling weakly. All she felt was pain, so much pain. Elijah lifted her up by her waist and carried her towards the bed. Freya nestled in his embrace.

In a soft voice, she asked, “Are you still angry?”

“Show me,” he replied.

After saying that, he placed her on the bed. Freya’s delicate body sank into the soft mattress.

Her hair was messy, and she looked fragile and weak. Her pink lips, now even more red and bruised from Elijah’s ravaging, bore tooth marks. She lifted her legs and hooked them around Elijah’s lean waist. Elijah’s eyes were like a bottomless abyss, with an endless inferno at the depths. It seemed like he could devour her. And Freya was indeed devoured, consumed by an intense fire that made it hard to breathe. She couldn’t feel anything around her, only his scorching body.

The storm raged on throughout the night. Freya’s slender and long legs were trembling, and she couldn’t get out of bed, even though she hadn’t taken a shower. Elijah carried her to the bathroom to clean up. Throughout the entire process, she relied on Elijah for support. She lazily squinted her eyes. After a long pause, she huskily said, “I would never do anything to hurt you…”

“I know,” Elijah responded.

He wrapped her up like a cocoon, with only her head exposed, holding her close. “I want a daughter.” He said.

Freya, who was on the verge of falling asleep, suddenly opened her eyes.

What did he mean?

She looked up.

Elijah lowered his gaze. “We’ve been together for so long, why aren’t you pregnant yet?”

Freya remained silent. She had been avoiding pregnancy all along, taking contraceptive pills. The vitamin C she had placed on the dressing table was actually birth control pills.

“We already have Kai…” she tried to reason.

If she got pregnant and had another child, it would delay her career, and her dreams would be difficult to fulfill in this lifetime.

“I prefer a daughter. Let’s name her Melissa.” Elijah said.

Freya’s thoughts sank. She thought to herself, he really wanted a daughter, he even had a name in mind.

“Our son doesn’t even have a proper name yet,” she complained with some resentment.

Why did it feel like Elijah favored daughters over sons?

“He has a name. We went to the hospital today. The medical record requires us to write a name, so I came up with one on the spot.” He explained.

Freya furrowed her brow tightly.

What did he mean by “on the spot”?

Didn’t he even consider it carefully?

This seemed a bit arbitrary. She didn’t even hold any expectations anymore.

“What’s the name?” she asked.

“Fraser Silverton.” He replied.

“What do you think? The name is meant to accompany him throughout his life.” Said Freya.

“I have the last name Silverton, and you’re Freya. I took a homophone of your name, Fraser.”

“Don’t you want to think about it more?”

Freya became unhappy, not because the name was bad, but mainly because of Elijah’s attitude. How could he be so casual about it?

“If we have two daughters, we could name one Melissa and the other Andrea. How does that sound?”

Freya didn’t dare respond and said, “I’m tired.”

Elijah’s hand covered her lower abdomen, as if he was eagerly awaiting her pregnancy. Although he loved Kai very much because Kai was his first child, his own flesh and blood. But he preferred daughters even more. And he had ulterior motives. If Freya became pregnant, he could naturally demand that she quit her job and stay at home to take care of the pregnancy.

However, Freya was trembling with fear. For now, she didn’t want to have children.

Freya woke up very early in the morning. Elijah held her and didn’t let her get up. “It’s still early. Stay with me a little longer.”

“I have to go to the hospital today.”

Was her work really that important?

“Kai is sick.” Elijah whispered.
