You Are My Mr Right

Chapter 227 Provoked

Freya squinted her eyes and spoke coldly, “What words?”

Since Arwen was a dying person now, she didn’t care whether anyone would overhear. She smiled and said, “Yes, I harmed Elijah’s parents. This time, if it weren’t him who submitted evidence to the court or used covert methods, I wouldn’t have received the death penalty and had it executed immediately. I don’t regret any of the things I’ve done. But please ask him for me, if I die, can his parents come back to life?”

“So, this is your despicable nature,” Freya looked at her calmly. “When you were causing harm, you should have known that those who do evil will eventually perish.”

Arwen snorted and sneered with disdain, “I’ve done so many terrible things, not just once or twice to harm Elijah. Yet, haven’t I been living carefree for so many years? Even if he kills me now, he will still be a child without parents. He’s the one who has my pity. Haha…”

Freya had never seen someone so heartless and venomous.

“You go to hell,” Freya clenched her fists, staring at her. “With your death, everything will be over. Have you ever thought about your son? He’s not living a good life right now.”

No matter how heartless and cold-blooded Arwen was, she was still a mother.

What could truly hurt her was probably only her son.Content © NôvelDrama.Org.

“As long as Elijah doesn’t spare him, do you think he’ll have a good life? Do you think your son can be a match for Elijah? In this regard, you should thank yourself. It was you who made Elijah grow up cautiously, made him ruthless and cunning. You harmed him, but you also made him. If he had grown up in a happy and fulfilling family, he might not have the means and courage he has now. And as for your son, who has been taken care of by you his whole life, what can he achieve without you?” Freya smiled. “I probably have to thank you on behalf of Elijah because it was your trials that shaped him.”

How could a child without parents be happy?

Freya said this just to prevent Arwen from feeling too proud.

Arwen’s face twitched. She had done so many things, even causing the death of Elijah’s parents. In the end, had she actually helped Elijah grow?

“You…” she trembled with anger.

Freya remained expressionless. “Rest assured, Elijah will ‘take care’ of your son.”

She emphasized the words ‘take care.’

Arwen understood the meaning behind those words. Suddenly, she fell to her knees. She was ready to die but she wanted her son to live a good life.

“I did everything. Can you make Elijah spare Thorne? They are cousins…”

“Cousins, not siblings.”

Freya wouldn’t interfere with Elijah dealing with Thorne. She only let Arwen speak so much to provoke her because of how malicious she was. Facing imminent death, she still acted so arrogant.

Arwen’s heart was full of resentment. “Both you and Elijah will meet a terrible fate!”

Freya curled her lip coldly and turned to leave.

“Freya, you despicable woman, evil woman! You always stand up for Elijah. Are you his dog? He’s so heartless that he can use Elara, leave me in a hopeless situation. One day, he will treat you the same way, bring you to your demise…”

“Leaving.”

“Freya, you will face consequences too. I’ll be watching from above, watching you lose everything, abandoned…”

Arwen’s curses gradually faded away.

Freya halted her steps, then walked out with determined strides.

Arriving at the hospital, she went to find Sivin Peters.

Sivin had a smile on his face and said, “I was just about to contact you, but you beat me to it.”

Freya said, “I came to see you about yesterday’s incident, regarding pushing Liora down the stairs…”

“That matter has been resolved.”

“How was it resolved?” Freya was surprised.
