You Are My Mr Right

Chapter 198 Playing a Game

Freya was speechless for a moment before she spoke in a menacing tone, “If you dare, I’ll break your legs.”

Elijah’s face was pressed against hers, smiling. “So harsh towards me?”

Freya pretended to be fierce, “What’s wrong with that? If you dare betray me, not only will I break your legs, but I’ll also find many handsome guys and use your money to support them…”

“Freya, you’ve gone too far.”

Did she want to use his money and cuckold him?

Freya lifted her head, “So, if you dare betray me, I’ll make sure you will…”Ccontent © exclusive by Nô/vel(D)ra/ma.Org.

“Freya, you won’t find a man more handsome than me.” He said, flipping her onto the bed.

Freya dodged his kisses, feeling ticklish.

She pushed him away, “Hey, it’s daytime…”

“Hmm,” Elijah responded.

But he showed no intention of getting up. He became bolder, starting to undress her directly.

Freya panicked and immediately surrendered, “I was wrong, I won’t find other guys. I only like you…”

Elijah lowered his head and lightly pecked her lips, “I also only like you.”

Freya composed herself, “Um, Elara Montague…”

Elijah’s expression froze. When would she stop? Why was she always mentioning the other woman? It was such a mood killer.

He sighed, realizing that if he didn’t explain clearly, she wouldn’t let it go.

So he told her the plan.

After listening, Freya fell silent for a long time and finally said, “Elijah, you’re really cunning.”

Instigating discord, doing it masterfully.

Arwen was currently focused on work, and her husband was feeling lonely and empty. By sending a woman to him at this time, it was a good chance to provoke the feelings between him and Arwen. When a couple didn’t get along, family conflicts would follow, along with the issues at the company.

Arwen would definitely be overwhelmed. Once she failed to think clearly, problems would be bound to arise. Arwen had always been smart. This time, it seemed she would have to fall.

But Freya didn’t sympathize. Elijah’s enemy was hers too. She understood that only when Elijah was safe, she and the child would have a protective umbrella.

She nestled in Elijah’s arms, “I can’t do much to help you. I feel guilty.”

“You took care of Kai for me, and you even handled the secretary’s matter. How can you say you haven’t helped me at all?”

The mention of the secretary was definitely intentional on Elijah’s part.

Freya instantly became furious.

“Is it because of your many love affairs? Do I deserve this?” She glared at him, questioning.

Elijah loved her in this state, his smile deepening.

Freya’s phone, which she had left on the table, suddenly rang. She reached out and answered it.

“Hello, is this Miss Stone?” a voice on the other end asked.

“Yes, it’s me,” Freya replied.

“Well, your resume has been shortlisted, and if you’re available tomorrow morning at 8 o’clock, you can come for an interview at the hospital.”

“Great, I’m available, and I’ll be there on time,” Freya exclaimed excitedly.

She had sent out so many resumes, and finally, a hospital had responded. She knew she should support Elijah wholeheartedly now, but she didn’t want to give up her own career either. She had been idle for a long time, and as a doctor, that wasn’t a good sign. She needed to get out there.

Elijah reached out and tucked the loose strands of hair behind her ear, whispering softly, “Do whatever you want to do.”

He didn’t want a woman to sacrifice her career for him.

His support warmed Freya’s heart. “Thank you.”

Elijah embraced her. “I’m your husband. We should support each other, not make sacrifices.”

Freya mischievously reached out and flicked his collar.

He laughed and held Freya’s hand. “Aren’t you afraid it’s daytime?”

Freya gave him a look. “I’m checking on your injury. What are you thinking?”

What was he thinking?

She had even undressed him willingly, what could he be thinking?

He was a normal man, not impotent.

At a private club.

Colton Silverton sat alone, drinking his sorrows away. He hadn’t seen his wife for days. Arwen was busy with Thorne, completely neglecting him. Feeling ignored, he came to this place to drown his sorrows. After a few glasses of whiskey, he started to feel a bit fuzzy. He slapped the money for the drinks on the table and unsteadily stood up. As he walked towards the door, he collided with a soft and beautiful girl. Feeling annoyed, he was about to curse at whoever was so careless, not valuing their life. But as he lowered his head, he saw a delicate and charming beauty.

Elara Montague cowered in his arms, looking up at him with innocent eyes, pitifully saying, “Help, someone is trying to capture me.”

“Hmm? Who?” Elara Montague’s helpless appearance instantly triggered his protective instinct.

Colton took the opportunity to hold her tightly.

Arwen, although intelligent and well-groomed, was undeniably showing signs of aging. Her skin had become somewhat loose and saggy. However, Elara Montague was different. She was young, vibrant, and had tight and supple skin that felt soft and fragrant when held.

Colton couldn’t help but be captivated by Elara’s presence. Elara Montague trembled as she pointed at the group of men behind her. A few hooligans, with their rough appearance, pointed at Elara and said, “If you don’t repay the money, we’ll capture you and sell you off.”

Upon hearing this, Colton realized it was a debt issue and asked, “How much does she owe you?”

“13, 000.” One of the hooligans replied.

“13, 000? Is it worth chasing after a woman like this? You’re truly bringing shame to us men,” Colton said, pulling out his wallet and writing a check. “Take the money and leave. Don’t harass this girl again.”

The hooligans took the money and immediately left. Their purpose was to play the role of hooligans and stage this scene, mainly to bring Elara Montague closer to Colton Silverton.

Now that their objective was achieved, they naturally wouldn’t continue to bother them.

“Thank you for repaying the money for me. Otherwise, I would have been sold to those shady places, and my life would have been ruined. Please give me your number. When I have the money, I will definitely repay you.” Elara said gratefully.

“It’s just a small amount, no need to repay.” Colton replied.

“No, I must repay you,” Elara said in a delicate voice. “You saved me, you’re my savior. I must repay you.”

Colton chuckled, thinking she was making a big deal out of it. It was just a little over ten thousand dollars. He smirked and asked, “How do you intend to repay me?”

“I…” Elara hesitated. Lowering her head, she continued, “I don’t have any money…”

“Alright, I don’t need you to repay me. But if you really want to return the favor, how about treating me to two drinks?” Colton suggested.

Without hesitation, Elara agreed, “Okay.”

Colton Silverton led her back to the club. He reserved a private room, which was quiet and secluded. He asked the server to bring a whole bottle of imported liquor. Actually, Colton could hold his alcohol quite well. But for some reason, he started feeling tipsy after just two drinks, becoming dizzy.

“Where do you live? Shall I take you home?” Elara asked, supporting him.

Colton waved his hand dismissively, “Not going home.”

He had come out for a drink because he was upset with Arwen. Now, he didn’t want to see her at all. Moreover, she definitely wouldn’t be home now.

“In that case, let me take you to a hotel to rest. You’ve had too much to drink,” Elara said gently, touching him with care and understanding.

Colton licked his lips and smiled, “Alright.”

Soon, they arrived at the hotel.
