True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz)

Chapter 197

Chapter 197

Alice Smith was hosting the ceremony, and thereafter she would sing a song in the square. She was Property belongs to Nôvel(D)r/ama.Org.

doing these so she could earn some money to make up for her family expenses.

She was taking advantage of her after-school time to work.

However, she didn't expect to meet Heinz Jones here.

"Alice, do you think he's really Heinz Jones? He's really handsome, isn't he?" a girl next to Alice said.

Listening to everyone singing praises at Heinz, Alice pursed her lips at the fact that he still didn't know

about Little Gary's existence despite having slept with her sister six years ago.

Six years later, Heinz and her sister finally reunited, but not only did he not cherish their relationship, he

even looked down on her sister. It was really frustrating.

"Hmph!" Alice raised the corner of her lips mockingly. "He's just a well-dressed beast."

"What?" One of Alice's friends immediately became annoyed. "Why did you say that about my prince

charming?"

Seeing that she was serious, Alice was speechless. She sneered and said, "Well, since he's your

prince charming, I won't criticize him anymore. However, that won't change the fact that he's a scum."

"Alice, you're very mean," her friend scolded.

Alice rolled her eyes at her. "You're the one who's gone too far."

"Then why did you say that about my prince charming? It's rumored that Heinz is a man with no lust at

all. His only scandal was with Cindy White, the movie queen. What's more, I heard that news is fake,"

her friend said.

"Enough," Alice felt that if she went on, there might not be an end to it. She reminded, "Let's keep our

distance, otherwise you might not get paid later."

When the girl heard that she might not be paid, she immediately became serious and didn't dare to say

anything.

Both of them stood straight and looked at Heinz.

Many others were gossiping about Heinz, too.

Alice used to think that Heinz was a decent person. If her sister hadn't said that Heinz looked down on

her, Alice wouldn't be so angry.

The more she thought about it, the angrier she became.

Heinz was led by an usher to the stage and one of the managers came forward as soon as he saw him.

The two of them shook hands and greeted each other, and then the opening ceremony began.

During the whole process, Heinz was expressionless. Even when he smiled, it was very faint, but it

projected a strong aura.

Looking from a distance, Heinz was really imposing

and extraordinary.

What a pity.

Alice clicked her tongue and sighed.

"Alice!"

Alice turned to look at the voice. It was the director who was in charge of the performance.

"Hello, Director Larson," Alice greeted.

"Hurry up and change your clothes. Your program is about to start. Perform well. This is a public

square, so sing with more emotions, okay?" Director Larson reminded.

"Don't worry," Alice smiled and said politely, "I'm going to change my clothes now. Where should I go?"

"You can go to the washroom in the building," Director Larson replied.

"Okay," Alice glanced at the building. It would take her some time to get there so she had to hurry.

She tried running quickly but running would affect her image as she was wearing the outfit of an

etiquette lady.

She could only walk at a faster pace.

Suddenly, a low male voice came to her ears, "Please wait."

Alice was stunned. She turned around and found that it was a strange man.

This man in a suit seemed to look a little familiar to her.

Alice frowned and looked at the man who was approaching her. She pointed at herself doubtfully and

asked, "Are you calling me, sir?"

"Yes," Lester came over and said, "I saw that you were with Miss Grace Smith at noon today. May I

know who is she to you?"

Alice immediately remembered that he was the person who was walking with Heinz just now.

She was a little surprised and asked, "Who are you to Heinz Jones?"

"I'm Mr. Jones' assistant." Lester was calm, but his tone was commanding, "Are you Miss Smith's

friend?"

Alice was infuriated when she knew that the man in front of her was Heinz's man. She asked in

annoyance, "Who are you to care?"

Lester was stunned by her attitude. "Miss, why do you speak so rudely?"

"I do what I like," Alice retorted, "Who are you to care who I am?"

"Why is your tone as rude as Miss Smith's? Judging from your appearance, are you her younger

sister?" Lester suspected that she might be Grace's younger sister as he knew that Grace had sisters.

Alice resembled Grace, but he didn't expect that her attitude was like hers, which was hard to handle.

Upon hearing Lester's words, Alice became angrier. "Who are you?"

Lester smiled and said, "I'm Lester."

"Lester, go back and tell your arrogant president to stay away from my sister. How dare he look down

on my sister. He's just a person with a handsome face and that's nothing to be proud of." After finishing

her words, Alice turned around and left.

Lester stayed on the spot in a daze and didn't move for a long time.

Looking at Alice's back, he came to his senses and said loudly, "President is very kind to Miss Smith.

Just now, he went to your eldest sister's place to teach the couple a lesson. Marry Smith wanted to sue

your sister. If it weren't for our president..."

"What?" Hearing this, Alice turned around and walked to Lester. "What did you say?"

Lester suddenly realized that he seemed to have said too much.

After a moment's hesitation, he stammered, "This..." "You didn't do anything wrong. Why are you

stammering? Repeat what you just said," Alice ordered.

Lester took a deep breath. Facing Alice's beautiful face, he had to admit that the three sisters of the

Smith family were all pretty.

He just didn't expect that their personalities to all be so intimidating.

"Just now, President stood up for Grace and looked for Simon and Marry to teach them a lesson. They

have been blaming Miss Smith for their miscarriage," Lester said.

"Bullsh*t!" Alice swore angrily. "They're making slanderous accusations."

Lester nodded and said, "Our president also said that Miss Smith is not such a person."

"Did Heinz really say that?" Alice looked at Lester suspiciously and said in disbelief, "Lester, don't tell

me it's true."

"Of course, it's absolutely true." Lester said bluntly, "I don't need to lie or make a rumor about this

matter."

"Tsk!" Alice sneered and said, "He's your president and your boss. You speak for him because he's the

one paying you. It's your job to help him get rid of trouble." "Miss Alice, why don't you believe me?"

Lester was aggrieved at her accusations. "I really don't need to lie to you. Besides, this matter is indeed

a fact and I don't have to make a rumor out of it."

"That's not necessarily certain," Alice said, "Forget it, I won't argue with you. Now, I'll give you one

more chance. Tell me what's going on."
