True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz)

Chapter 175

Chapter 175

Simon Brown was standing at a corner near the lift. He seemed to be waiting for her.

Grace Smith did not respond to him but went straight towards the lift Instead.

"Grace," Simon shouted again and stepped forward.

He grabbed her hand in a flash.

Grace frowned and pushed his hand away instantly. She said in a low voice, "Simon, what are you

trying to do?"

"Grace, didn't you realize? He really doesn't like you at all. He's just playing with your feelings." Simon

said earnestly, "Look at how he has tortured you."

His eyes fell on Grace's neck where Heinz had left his mark.

Evidently, there was jealousy in Simon's eyes.

Grace glanced at him coldly and said in a low voice, "Simon, it has nothing to do with you. It's my own

business."

"Grace, I can't just look at you and pretend that everything is okay."

"Get lost." Grace didn't want him in her sight anymore.

Simon frowned at her cold expression. He said in a sad voice, "Am I such a bad person to you?"

"Simon Brown, I do not care what kind of person you are. It has nothing to do with me." Grace

retorted and her tone had no warmth at all.

She had no feelings for him.

No matter what kind of person Simon was, it had nothing to do with her.

She pressed the button of the lift.

Grace stepped into the lift the moment the doors opened.

Simon followed her in and said, "Grace, Heinz is really playing with your feelings."

Grace ignored him.

"Grace, there are only the two of us in this lift. Tell me, what are you thinking?" He was not giving up

just yet.

"I want you to stay away from me."

Simon stiffened. Helplessly, he looked at her and said, "But I can't control myself."

"Marry is pregnant." Grace suddenly looked up at him and said, "Your baby is about to be born."

Simon was stunned and a glimmer of light flashed in his eyes. He dodged her eyes and said, "Grace, I-

"

"You have a good relationship with my sister." Grace lightly analyzed, "I have seen the interaction

between the two of you. In Heinz's reception room, I saw that you were getting along with her and you

cherish her very much."

Grace interrupted him, "You like her, otherwise, you wouldn't have had a child with her."

Simon's face froze.

Grace felt that Simon was not appreciative of what he had.

After she saw her grandmother's letter today, she was very regretful about the past.

"Simon, you love my sister very much. Why are you doubting yourself? You can’t have everything. You

have to make a choice. Don't lose yourself to greed, or else you'll find yourself with nothing."

Simon stared at Grace in a daze and couldn't say a word.

Grace didn't look at him, but said, "Even Grandma could tell that I wasn't really into you. What I thought

was real turned out to be the exact opposite too. Cherish Marry. At least she treats you sincerely."

Simon wanted to say something but all his words were stuck in his throat.

His hands were clenched into fists.

When the doors opened again, Grace immediately stepped out of the lift.

Simon also followed her out.

Grace started to walk rapidly to the exit.

Simon chased after her and said, "Grace, I can’t help it! I still can't forget you!"

Grace stopped and sighed. She looked at him and said lightly, "Simon, stop lying to yourself. Nothing

will ever happen between you and me. You're pestering me just because you want both of us by your

side."

Simon was stunned.

" Are you going to divorce my sister?"

He opened his mouth but couldn't say anything.

"You can't do it, can you? You can't leave Marry, nor could you stand to lose her power.

For me, I'm not willing to waste my time with you even if I got played by Heinz."

After saying that, she turned and walked away.

Simon stood still in the noisy and crowded hall. Although there were many people walking past him, he

still felt alone.

Grace left quickly. She bought some ingredients and went home.

She took a shower, changed her clothes, dried her hair, and then went to the kitchen to cook.

In the evening, Alice picked up Little Gary and came back. The aroma of the food wafted as soon as

they entered the door.

"Mommy, I'm back." Gary Smith's voice was full of surprise and excitement. "Little Aunt, my mommy is

here."

Grace, who was wearing an apron, came out of the kitchen and looked at her son and her sister with

twinkling eyes.

They were her genuine family members whom she would feel warm just by looking at them.

"Sister, are you really back?" Alice was very surprised. "Didn't you say that you would be gone for three

days?"

"No." Grace didn't want to explain lengthily, so she simply said, "The doctor made a mistake. He

thought it was a virus infection, but it turned out to be a mere cold. Hence I was discharged from the

hospital in advance."

"Mommy, how are you feeling now?" The little one was very worried. "If you weren't treated properly,

you will still feel uncomfortable."

"I'm okay." Grace hugged him and said, "Come on, let's wash your hands and eat."

"Okay."

The family sat together for dinner.

In the hospital, Lester brought some food for Grace. But when he didn't see any trace of Grace in the

hospital, he went to the nurse station and asked Remi Walters, "Remi, where is Miss Smith?"

Remi said, "I don't know."

"You really don't know?" Lester stared at Remi sharply. "Really?"

Remi avoided his eyes and said, "She was discharged. That woman requested to leave the hospital by

herself. I don't know what's wrong with her. She is very impulsive."

Lester was a little surprised. "She has been discharged from the hospital?"

He returned to the ward again and took out the phone to call Heinz to report, "President, Miss Smith

has been discharged from the hospital."

The man on the other side of the line immediately took a deep breath and said in a low voice, "This

d*mned woman."

Lester was secretly shocked. What was going on?

"President, Miss Smith hasn't gotten better, has she?"

"It's none of your business." Heinz said in a deep voice, "Go through the discharge formalities."

"Yes!" Lester complained in his heart, but he still quickly went through the procedures.

Early in the next morning.

Grace felt that she had completely recovered from her cold. She was pretty sure that her runny nose

was because of the cold. Heinz and the doctor had lied to her.

She was finally relieved that she could go to work at the newspaper office.

The two days leave of absence that Hermione Lowe had given her had also ended.

Until now, she still didn't know how Lorenzo Chen dealt with it.

When she entered the newspaper office, she heard Chuck Dorris say to her, "Grace, you came just in

time. The editor looked for you twice so I'm waiting for you to come back and meet her."

"Ah, I know. It's time for me to meet her." Grace put down her bag and immediately went to meet the

editor.

After knocking on the door and entering, Grace saw a man sitting inside.

She was stunned and said, "Hermione, you seem to have a guest. I'll come back later."

"No, Grace." Hermione immediately said, "The guest is here for you. Come here."

Grace took a quick look at the man, frowned, and walked over. Facing the man, she just glanced at him

and frowned again. "You want to see me?"This text is property of Nô/velD/rama.Org.
