Triplets on Secret Mission

Chapter 1679

Chapter 1679

As Molly and Sean chatted, the research rooms within the base ground to a halt. They were completely paralyzed and unable to function normally.

The databases of research rooms 1-5, located on the underground floor, had become jumbled with chaotic codes.

Selon noticed the anomaly and found it perplexing.

He had been at the base for quite some time, yet this was the first time he had encountered such a situation.

So, he sought out Professor Heist for an explanation.

"Why is the database all jumbled up? Is something wrong?" he inquired.

Professor Heist simply shook his head in response. "I'm not sure about this. Just focus on your work and don't worry about the rest."

Not sure?

Selon's eyes flickered with suspicion. As the head of research rooms 1-5, he should have been the first to know about any developments within the base.

Despite Professor Heist's attempts to appear normal, his furrowed brow betrayed his true emotions.

Obviously, he was lying.

Selon didn't confront the man. Instead, he lowered his gaze to conceal the cold glint in his eyes. If he were not wrong, this was the work of Sean's faction.

Judging by Professor Heist's gloomy expression, the base must be in chaos.

It seemed that their plan was progressing smoothly.

Soon, Alkaid and he would be able to leave this place.

Seeing Selon standing motionless, Professor Heist frowned and reminded him sternly. "Your most important task right now is to heal the Venomous Insect Overlord as soon as possible!"

Selon bowed his head. "I know."

"Then why are you still standing here? Go keep an eye on it.

If anything happens, Mr. Lopez will punish you severely." Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!

At these words, Selon hurried back to his work.

He gazed at the Venomous Insect Overlord in the bottle. It was slowly regaining its strength, and he silently thought.' Soon you will be reunited with your mother.'

On the ground, the warriors sent by the Union had finally arrived.

"You guys are finally here. I'll leave this place in your hands."

Ward's face lit up with relief as he saw those people.

With the arrival of the new experts, Blackrose and her companions wouldn't be able to escape the base.

The damage to the base would be repaid by them, one by one.

The thought of striking a heavy blow against the Grandset filled Ward with excitement. He quickly led his men to a safe location to watch the battle unfold.

He wanted to witness firsthand the defeat of his opponents.

Blackrose stared at those big, muscular men, her eyes filled with awe. So, these were the new warriors sent by the Union.

They certainly looked like skilled fighters.

But the tattoos on their faces were an insult!

How could they willingly subject themselves to such treatment?

Then again, the Martial Art Union could do this kind of thing.

And these people were by no means good ones since they could even betray their principles.

"Be careful, guys. Conceal our strength before we figure out their level."

Blackrose warned her companions and saw the enemies lunging their way.

Her companions and she scattered immediately to engage their opponents separately.

The five men were expressionless and ruthless, aiming for vital points with every strike.

After several bouts, Blackrose and her companions realized that the enemies were just as skilled as they were.

This came as a surprise.

They hadn't expected the martial arts experts trained by the Martial Art Union to be so strong.
