Chapter 256 Punctual Arvin
Chapter 256 Punctual Arvin
Angela was focused on talking with Nancy on the phone, so she didn't notice that Arvin was teasing
her.
Arvin did it again, but she just took a glance at him and still ignored it.
Arvin probably found it amusing to tease her, so he did it a third time. But Angela was finally realized
what he was doing, so she rolled her eyes at him.
Arvin stopped laughing, kept a straight face, and put the milk tea with a straw beside her lips. Then,
she took a sip and told Nancy, "Nancy, I have to hang up now. I'll go to your place and sleep with you
tonight, so wait for me at home-" She didn't even get to finish the sentence when the phone was taken
away by Arvin. "Come on, Arvin. Give it back to me." Arvin didn't hang up the phone but talked to
Nancy, "Hey... Angela was just joking. She's not going to your place tonight, and she won't be sleeping
at your place again. If she ever says that again, just call me, and I'll take her away. Thanks." Then, he
hung up.
Angela and Nancy were both shocked.
When Angela recovered and got her phone back, it was already too late. He had already hung up.
"Arvin! How dare you take my phone away? You bad guy!" She yelled.
Arvin stretched himself to her and said, "Come closer. I have something to tell you." Angela was
puzzled, So she leaned forward.
Arvin suddenly held her head with one hand and kissed her on the lips. Content © copyrighted by NôvelDrama.Org.
What a rude man! How could he just kiss her in public? The two were just making out.
Arvin tightened his grip, so Angela couldn't escape, no matter how hard she tried.
After a while, people around them began to gossip. Then, he slowly released her. Angela was out of
breath. Then, he asked, "Am I a bad guy, Angela?" She opened her eyes wide
And nodded hard, so Arvin kissed her again.
But Angela saw it coming. She covered her lips quickly, making him kiss the back of her hand.
He asked again, "Am I a bad guy, Angela?" She decided to be smart.
She shook her head like a rattle and said, "You're not bad. You're my dearest Big Wing." Arvin was
satisfied by her response.
Angela was then released. She wanted to be mad at him, but she dared not to. She was aggrieved and
looked at Arvin, wanting to cry.
It was his fault, wasn't it? Couldn't she bring it up?
Arvin definitely knew of her grievances. He sighed, picked up the milk tea, and lifted Angela from the
chair; then he walked out of the dessert shop with her.
She said she didn't want to go anywhere, and she wasn't in the mood to do anything.
But Arvin gave her the cup of milk tea and told her to wait for him for three minutes. Angela objected.
"No!" She was angry at him, so she refused.
"No?" He came closer as if he would kiss her again, but Angela was frightened, so she stepped
backward and said with a blushing face, "Okay, okay. I'll wait."
Arvin walked to the exit.
Angela stood there with the milk tea in her hand. She stared at his back as if she had wanted to stab
him with her piercing eyes.
Just then, Arvin turned around and saw her looking like that.
Angela was so embarrassed, but it was too late to change the expression on her face.
Arvin seemed to have laughed and entered a shop after turning.
When Arvin disappeared from her field of vision, Angela took a big sip from her milk tea and bit hard on
a tapioca pearl, that she imagined was Arvin's head.
She stared at her watch. She was already thinking about how to get mad at him if he didn't come back
on time.
But what if he did come back in three minutes? And he did. Arvin was punctual.
He came back in two and a half minutes with a box.
In the next six seconds, Arvin gave the box to her and said, "Open it, and see if you like it."
Angela untied the red ribbon and opened the well-packaged box. She was surprised at what was
inside.
Roses. Lots and lots of roses were in that big, long box. There were red roses around the box, and a
bunch of white roses were formed into a heart.
This was different from the one he gave her before, but that was beautiful, too. Everyone liked beautiful
things. Angela was of no exception.
But she pretended to be calm. She cleared her throat and asked Arvin, "Mr. Gu, what is this for?" He
smiled and held her into his arms.
He lightly kissed her cheek and said, "My apology to my wife for pissing her off..." He noticed the flower
store when they got there, but Angela was only thinking about the desserts, So he was waiting for the
chance when he could buy roses for her.
Angela sighed and thought, 'Arvin's so warm and caring. No matter how angry and sad I was just now,
he bought me roses and said all the sweet things. How can I still be angry?'
She proudly lifted her chin and smelled the roses, then said to him, "Okay. I forgive you."
Arvin nodded and said, "Thanks, honey." He looked so serious.
Angela couldn't help but laugh out.
Then, they began to walk around to mall. Arvin seldom went out for shopping, so Angela bought a lot of
things for him, such as suits, shoes, ties, wallets, and brooches...
By the end of that day, Arvin and his four bodyguards couldn't carry any more of the shopping bags.
The Luo Group
A shareholders meeting was being held at the office on the eighteenth floor. They were mostly talking
about how the share prices were falling.
An elder shareholder slowly talked to the man sitting on the head of the table and said, "Mr. Luo, don't
you know that you're the reason why the stock prices are falling?"
Somebody agreed with him and said, "That's right, Mr. Luo. Your personal affairs with Miss Zhen have
brought negative impacts on the group. We hope you can deal with it soon." "We are all bothered by it.
We can't sleep well, and we can't eat well, too."
Another one added. The others agreed, And some nodded, all of them saying yes.
Mr. Luo sat there quietly with one hand on his forehead, listening to them speaking.
After a long while, the office went quiet. Derrick Luo simply told them, "I'm going to marry Nita."
