Chapter 16
Ethan POV
I hurried out of Agatha’s room and went straight to my room to take a shower. I didn’t know what was happening to me and I resented what he was saying. I couldn’t help but hold back when I saw his body.
I can say that she has changed a lot after the three years she has been in another country, she is far from Agatha who we first met. To this day I still blame myself for losing her mom and I promised to protect them but I failed.
I told myself I would take care of her and I would not let her get hurt but I was one of the people who gave pain and ruined her life especially the night that thing happened. I didn’t even touch her but it was almost as if I just couldn’t control myself.
I witnessed how she suffered when her mother died, she could hardly sleep and eat well so I never left her. She suffered from depression but one day I was surprised when she entered her school until she graduated so I was proud of her because even though she was struggling and hurting she still insisted on graduating from college. And when she told me that she wanted to go to another country and work there, I let her because I knew that would be good for her and so that she would forget the bad memories here.
I know it’s wrong to imprison her in this house but can you blame me? I just don’t want her to leave my life again, I’ve waited 3 years for her to come back and I won’t allow her to leave again.
I don’t want to be left behind again, I don’t want to be alone. She is the only family I have now so I will not allow her to disappear from my sight.
I am happy now because of her change. I can say that she has become a strong and brave woman. But the only thing I don’t like about her now is how she dresses and how she speaks.
That night almost something happened to us. I can tell it was one of the happy memories in me that I will never forget. Kyhan is just stupid because he chose to hurt and cheat on Agatha and now that she’s back with me again I can’t allow another guy to own her.
Honestly I could find any woman I wanted but I didn’t because I prefer Agatha and even though I don’t know when she will return, I still chose to wait. And all I can say is that waiting for her is worth it because now she is with me. And she is also one of my inspirations why I have been able to focus more on the company.
It is necessary to take care and protect Agatha now because we are the only two left together. I want to keep her for myself. Even if they say I’m selfish I don’t care.
Agatha is mine!
I was deep in thought when someone knocked on my door and when I opened it I saw one of my maids. “Sir, the food is ready.” she said to me.
I nodded and followed her downstairs to pick up the tray and take it to Agatha’s room. .
When I opened the door of her room I saw her lying on the bed and when she looked at me she immediately got up and sat down.
“Let’s eat.” I said and set down the tray with only food.
She just nodded and we started eating.
“Why are you coming home so early? I thought you had to work in the office.” she asked me.
I looked at her . “I come home really early sometimes, you just don’t know because you’ve been gone for a long time.” my answer.
“I know, I’m thinking that you deliberately came home early to see what I was doing to make sure I didn’t escape.”
“Why would I do that? I will not leave the company just to watch over the person I imprisoned here because I know that you will not be able to escape even if I leave the house. ” I smiled.
“If I were you, just stay here at home and don’t try to leave because I will find you wherever you go. You belong here Agatha, this is your home. ” I added.
She didn’t speak anymore and just continued eating. Later I heard her phone ring so I stood up and took it in the cabinet. This content is © NôvelDrama.Org.
“Who are you?” I asked as soon as the call was answered.
Suddenly the one on the other line fell silent. “Again who is this?” when I repeat my question.
“Ahm, Hi, this is Zey, Agatha’s best friend. I would just like to ask if she is there now and if I can visit her? ”
“Yes you can just go here.” I nodded and dropped the call.
Agatha looked at me as if asking a question.
“Your friend called and said she was coming here today. You can go. ” I said seriously.
“W-what? What do you mean?” she asked me.
“You’re not deaf, are you? I said you can go now. You can do what you want to do in your life. Whether you come back here or not it’s your choice.” I clarify because she might not understand what I am saying.
She was stunned for a moment and could not speak as she stared at me.
