Chapter 1021
Chapter 1021:
Alicia was thoroughly exhausted after her intimate encounters with Caden.
She woke up to darkness. The room was quiet, and the bed beside her was empty. The faint sounds of cooking from the kitchen reached her ears.noveldrama
She snuggled deeper under the blanket, the warmth cocooning her. For a moment, her mind was blank. But as her thoughts began to settle, she couldn’t help but think about her earlier intimacy with Caden and his odd behavior.
At first, everything had seemed normal. Alicia and Caden had been intimate twice, and he had restrained himself well. But as she grew too exhausted to resist, he changed his approach, teasing her mercilessly, stopping just before the edge, denying her satisfaction. He had pushed her to say things that made her blush, but his expression had remained unreadable.
Hours later, Alicia still couldn’t figure out what had upset Caden. Her mind wandered back to the ice cream they had shared before coming home. Caden never liked sweets or anything cold—so why had he insisted on it? Unable to make sense of it, Alicia decided to confront him. She grabbed a shirt—his shirt—and tossed it on before padding into the dining room.
Caden was at the stove, cooking steak, and the rich aroma made her stomach rumble. Without hesitation, she slipped behind him, wrapping her arms around his waist and pressing her cheek to his back.
“My legs are sore. Will you give me a massage later?” Alicia asked.

Caden turned slightly, his gaze meeting hers. The shirt she wore—his shirt—hung loose on her frame, falling just past her hips. His eyes darkened. “Not wearing underwear?” he asked, raising an eyebrow.
Alicia met his gaze without flinching. “I forgot.”
Caden’s jaw tightened. She was a seductress without even trying, and he was a man who couldn’t resist her. “Let’s eat first,” he said, his voice low, almost strained. “I’ll massage your legs afterward.”
He knew, and Alicia knew, it wouldn’t stop at just a massage.
Once dinner was over, Caden carried her to the dining table, kneeling to massage her legs as promised. His hands skillfully moved, but soon his lips replaced his touch.
Alicia, though still tired, didn’t resist. She let him do as he pleased, cooperating with languid ease.
Caden sensed something was off but didn’t stop, whispering in her ear, “What are you trying to get out of me this time?”
Her eyes glimmered with mischief as she whispered, “What were you so upset about today?”
This time, Caden didn’t deny it. “I’m over it now.” But Alicia wasn’t fooled. There was something more. She tilted her head, deciding to tease him until he cracked.
Caden, however, wouldn’t easily give in. “Do you want your husband to suffer from premature problems at a young age?”
Alicia smirked, though she was equally breathless. “Tell me why you’re angry, and I’ll stop.”
