Chapter 41 CROSSED
“Yeah that’s the thing. Strong people often don’t know what they are capable of. But, I must tell you, I am proud of you.”
His words melted my heart. It made me feel like the princess he called me a while ago. I sniffed out a choked snicker and turned around to walk back to the car. I sat at the bonnet and crossed my legs before me. “Where is your brunette girlfriend?”
“Really? We were talking about you,” He grinned and trudged toward me.
“Enough about me! Now your turn.”This content © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.
“I… She dumped me.” He scratched the nape of his head.
“What?” I took his hand and squeezed. “What did you do?”
His eyes twitched in embarrassment. I saw it.
“Tell me.” I urged.
“It’s a little creepy.”
“It’s a little creepy talking about my divorce don’t you think so?”
“Okay,” He braced himself and came to sit beside me, our bodies touching as we looked out to the wind. The fluttering of my hair about, notified me they were out of the bind that Irene had tucked them into. I liked the feel of it.
“S-she accused me of calling your name while we made out.”
My cheeks turned pink. It was my turn to be embarrassed. “Why would you do that?!” I cried in shock.
“I don’t know… I don’t even know if she said the truth. She has always been jealous of us even while you were with another man.”
My heart stopped. I knew he liked me in that way but I didn’t want us to destroy our friendship by being together. “I’m sorry, Liam.”
“It’s okay. I wasn’t bothered. I mean, she became too toxic. Always complaining. ‘Hey, Liam you said her name in your sleep’ ‘Hey, Liam, you did this you did that Why?’ ‘Hey Liam!,’ It was fucken exhausting!” I cupped my mouth, as the sound of his voice while he mimicked his ex was very hilarious.
“What? You think that’s funny?”
“Yeah! I mean no,” I leaned over. “But…” I busted out laughing. I couldn’t control myself.
“Oh, my… Seriously?”
“I’m sorry,” I vaulted off. ” I couldn’t help it. Was her voice really like that?”
“Oh, way worse…”He stepped forth, with his hands to his waist.
I shook my head and looked upwards. “Then I’m sorry for being the reason she dumped you.”
“It’s not like I care. That relationship wouldn’t have lasted, anyways.”
“Why would you say that?” I took a bold step forward.
His face twisted downward. “How could it? Unlike you I couldn’t hide my feelings with someone I apparently don’t love.”
“You are an asshole for saying that,” I was irritated with him now. Why would he think that? “I did everything I did for my family. I didn’t have a choice.”
“Everyone has a choice. It depends if we are willing to take it.”
“Is that what you think? That I had a choice? My father is a desperate lout! He didn’t care and wouldn’t have minded killing me if I hadn’t married Reyes! And Lucas, I had to for my brother…” I paused, thinking of how much all that was wasted. “It’s unfortunate it was all in vain.”
He covered the distance between us and took my hands. “I admire your courage, Silvia. But you know I would have done anything for you, if you had asked. I would have given you that anything.”
“I didn’t need anything from you!” I snatched my hands. “I didn’t want you to think me a charity case. You have carried the burden of my life for too long.”
“Then, going to become a nanny to some douchebag was the way out? Didn’t you sleep with him? Didn’t y__”
“Enough, Liam! Please! I am trying to forget all my mistakes in the past. Please don’t remind me.”
“Then stop justifying it.”
“…”
“I’m sorry, Liam. For hurting you…” Tears licked down my face. “I-i didn’t want to lose you too. I garnered keeping you as a friend would be better than a lover. If we are friends we can’t hate each other and separate.”
“I don’t care, Silva. You can never know until you try. Some people are enjoying love with their friends. We are not any different ”
“You are my brother and not a friend!” I bit out.
He chuckled sadly. “Brother? Does a brother… Does a brother have silly wet dreams imagining his sister sucking him off?” I gasped, “Yeah.. Or better a brother moans his sister’s name while fucking another girl, yeah?”
“Liam!”
“Or, he imagines what it would feel like bending her over and taking her so hard until she is shaking beneath him,” I stepped back, a moan escaping my lips. “I know you feel likewise, Silvia. If I reach beneath your panties now, I am sure you are dripping for me.”
“You are insane, Liam.”
“Yes, I am. Yet, you are the one running from accepting something right in front of you! Brother, indeed!” He scoffed.
“I. Don’t. Feel. Anything. For. You,” I flicked my tear-stricken face up to meet his.
I saw fleeting sadness pass his face, to be replaced with a devious smirk. “Very well. I think it’s time we get this over with.”
“What?”
He came at me. I twisted to run off but he grabbed my waist, hauling me across the field until I was on top the bonnet. “You don’t feel for me, right? This should be easier,”
“Stop, Liam, please,” I begged, knowing what he would find.
“If I don’t see anything, then I will stop. I will go back and beg Regina to marry me and forget you. I swear it.” My heart broke. I will never want that. Not after today.
He drew close until our bodies were mingled. He didn’t need to search too long for the beat of my heart could already be heard and my eyes already dilated as my body pulsated in need of him.
“I thought so,” He brushed his lips on mine. I gasped and involuntarily arched forward. “Tell me you don’t want me and I will go.” he brushed his thumb down my lower lips and pulled it down.
In response, I gasped once more, my dark hungry eyes pleading with him to stop at once.
“You want this?” He took my lower lip between his teeth and tugged. I moaned and inched nearer, starting to feel his hardness from his trousers. God, I want him so much. I threw all my restraints to the wind and flung my hands up to cup his neck.
“Not so fast, princess. ” He pulled away, catching me by surprise. My eyes bulged in shame.
“What?” I breath.
“Tell me you want me.”
“What would be the use?”
“Many things.”
I scoffed and made to jump off but he held me tighter. “Still stubborn, huh? Let’s see for how long.” In a flash, he crashed his lips down on mine and claimed it in an unholy kiss. I responded rapidly, raking my hand through his hair as my hips rode to grind against him. I wanted him so much.
“Please,” I begged. He took advantage of the time to sneak his tongue down my throat. He sucked every breadth of my mouth until I was gasping out of breath.
He didn’t let go. It was as if kissing me was for his dear life and if he stopped he would die. I chuckled between the kiss as I returned it with fervor. No one has kissed me like this before. “Liam?”
“Mmmm…” He tore his lips from my mouth as his hand tipped my head up to latch his lip to my neck. I lost my mind.
“Yeah!”
“You like it?”
“Very much. Lower, please.”
“I know…” He licked to hole in my neck and sucked in. My eyes rolled back. Suddenly we were overdressed and I wanted everything out. I didn’t care about the tough wind and us catching a cold. I just want his flesh against mine. Skin to skin.
I grabbed his suit and pushed it until it was down his arms, and then went for his shirt which I began unbuttoning. I pulled it fiercely, causing all the buttons to fly in different directions.
“It appears someone is desperate to see my body.”
“Please, Liam,” I flipped my eyes open to look upon his dark ones. Lust was so etched in them I could see myself floating. How can one’s eyes be so glacy like that? “I want you. More than anything. Take me, please.”
He growled like a hungry lion and in the next minute, my gown ripped in two! My $5000 gown!
He must have seen the alarm in my eyes, for he said, “I will get you ten more gowns to compensate for this!”
I didn’t fucking care one bit. It’s not like I wanted it anyway. And Irene, I’m sure she would be glad I tore it in the race to reach my brink.
He cupped my breast and molded into them, his other hand going behind me to release it from the clasp. “I think this should go.”
“Yeah…” I hurried my hands out and he flung the poor item away.
His lips came down until they were in my nipples and kissed them one after the other. I was moaning, and grinding myself on him.
Suddenly he pulled away. “One minute.” He indicated and went to the car. I turned to see what he was doing and saw him open his trunk and brought out something that looked like a mat.
I smiled. It looks like he came ready.
He spread out the mat on the floor and went back to bring out a pillow.
I laughed. “How come all that is in your car?”
“I always come here to think, most times.”
“Oh,”
“Yeah. So I have always had that in my boot so I don’t find myself stranded.”
“Nice.” He nodded and finished arranging the objects.
He came back and scooped me off the bonnet to lay me gently on the mat. “You are so beautiful, Silva. You have no idea what this means to me.”
“Shut up and show me.” I trailed my hands from his temple down to his lips, then cupped it at the back of his head and pulled him to me.
The kiss was fast and furious. We each battled for dominance, our moans and groans the only thing to disrupt the peace of the night. When he sank his finger inside of me and pumped, I have never had any moment to be compared to it, and when he hovered over my left ear to ask, “Can I?” My head nearly fell off from nodding my accent.
He slammed into me with so much force I ripped the silence of the night apart. He held my neck and pounded into me, his eyes digging into me, portraying how much love he feels for me. And I enjoyed every moment of it.
I kept wanting more and didn’t stop to tell him.
When I shook beneath him and rode to bliss, all I saw was his face and when he followed afterward, he screamed my name over and over again. This is what they call fulfillment. He sees me. And I see him.
“What would you say if we took this party to my place?” He asked, hugging me to him like a coverlet. I nodded, my teeth starting to chatter from the cold.
He stood and carried into the car, brought his suit, and wore me, kissing my temples hence going back to pack the stuff. I didn’t recall our ride home, just when I heard a fierce shrill close to me did I open my eyes to see my phone ringing.
I grabbed it and picked, my eyes washing over the furnished room I was presently laying on a bed in.
“Where the fuck are you, Silva?”
“I’m sorry, Irene,” I scratched my hair. “I left with Liam.”
“And you didn’t tell me? I was out of my mind. And you would pick your damn calls!”
Shit! “I’m sorry.”
“Sorry for yourself. I’m coming over!”
“No, no! Wait, Irene!” I retrieved the phone to realize the call was gone. Shit!
I checked my phone. Ten missed calls.
“Good morning, sunshine!”
