The President Broken Angel

She signals Daeviann to ‘shh’ she nodded and brought over her phone. Many misses call from mom, but she slides the screen to type her message…

“Bring me my coat.” Jhonia typed into the message box showing it to Daeviann.

She nodded and left while Jhonia accidentally sent off the message to Mrs. Pinnock. She got up not trying to wake Kyhe up, walking carefully out to the door and called her back!

“Hello mom.” Jhonia answered her!

“Jhonia, why are you whispering?” Mrs. Pinnock asked her.

“oh, Mr. Knight is sleeping.” Jhonia explained to her.

“Then leave.” Mrs. Pinnock said because she was a bit confused as to why she is in his office while he sleeps.

“i can’t. I will explain later. bye bye.” Jhonia said and hung up!

Daeviann returned with her coat like she requested then leave. Jhonia went and covered Kyhe with her coat and sat watching him sleep. Night fell and everyone had gone home. Kyhe woke up turning… He realizes that there is a coat covering him, he held it up looking at it! He quickly looks over his head to see Jhonia sleeping.

“Was she waiting on me?” Kyhe asked sitting up and looking at her… It took him a second to remember the first time she watched him sleep!

“Jhonia!” Kyhe call stopping her!

“Not sleeping I see.” Jhonia said, standing up straight. She turned around looking at him, in the same position he was in when she entered.

“Sit here and until I woke up!” Kyhe said pointing at the single sofa.

“Heh?” Jhonia questioned his statement request. He removed his hand which was blocking his face and looked over his eyelids at her. Jhonia gulped keeping her calm.

“Please, sit here and don’t leave until I woke up!” He smirked and got up going over to her to cover with the coat, when he began to remember…

“You should have let me go after her!”

“I think should you find a way to stop seeing Jhonia the way you are seeing her because, we both know she’s married to someone else.’ – ‘I don’t care how you did but do it. Get over it or I’m going to let your family know you’re trying to break up someone else home. Is that what you want, for your mother to hear you’re breaking up a home?”

He breaks away from her immediately walking over to his desk, running his hand through his hair. Accidentally knocked over a toy he has on his desk! Jhonia woke up and noticed he wasn’t on the couch. Immediately she stood up, turning around to see him fixing the toy.

“You’re awake? Ah, the coat is mine.” Jhonia asked, then added the coat was hers as she quickly walked over to him. Kyhe turned around coming face to face with her, up close they could feel each other suddenly and heavy breathing.

“Jhonia, I have known him for a long time and only two people made him so upset and happy at the same time, and one of those individuals is you. So, if he stands a chance give him and if he doesn’t let him know that he needs to let you go.”

Jhonia remembers Kuwain words looking down from Kyhe.

“Kyhe. I-” Jhonia said looking up but was cut off as she noticed he wasn’t standing before her!

“Jhonia, come here.” Kyhe call her and she looked over to where his voice came from, she saw him standing over far from her somewhere she was once heading to. She walked over to him.

“They’re blankets here, and my jack suits here… That’s not important but if you find me sleeping don’t use your coat to cover me, or next time just turn off the AC.” Kyhe said to her, Jhonia felt he regretted the fact that she cared for him while he slept. He closed the door to his private closet and gave her coat to her, then walked away from her.

“Ah… what was I expecting?” Jhonia sighed and mumbled but even though Kyhe heard her…

“What did you say?” He still turned around and asked her?

“Huh? Ah, I will know better next time… But I doubt they will be one.” Jhonia question then said to him, then she added and leave his office.

“I heard you though.” Kyhe announced but Jhonia had quickly went down and realized that everyone is gone.

She looked around before putting on her coat and fixing up her desk, taking her bag and leaving. Kyhe came down and went to his elevator. Together, they went down. Jhonia walked out of the company and once more Nearce was waiting on the other side of the road for her.

“What the hel-” Jhonia was asking but cut herself off!

As she crossed the road, she remembers she could ask Kyhe to drop her home, turning around to see his car leaving. He was no longer an option. She proceeded to go to Nearce car.

“It’s 9 PM. Mrs. Pinnock, are you sleeping with your boss?” Nearce asked? Joking with her but even now more than ever she hated it.

Her memory flashback…

“Kyhe. I-”

“Ah… what was I expecting?”

“I will know better next time… I doubt they will be one.”

She remembers her own words.

“I swear to God if you accuse me one more time. Am going to sleep with him!” Jhonia yelled saying to him, as she was getting into the car, she remembered her apartment is just half an hour walk away. She got out through the other door and began walking. Nearce got in the car and realized she was not there!

“Jhonia? Jhonia! Where is she?” Nearce questioned her presence then yelled before asking his driver.

“She got off!” He replied!

“You fool! Turn the car around and go after her.” He called his driver before telling him to go after Jhonia. He turned around but a Jeep appeared out of nowhere blocking their car.

“What the- Drive around it.” Nearce said, cutting himself off and spoke. His driver tried but the car once more blocked them from passing.

“Go after her!” Furiously Nearce yelled at his driver who quickly got out of the car rushing after her when. A bike appeared; the biker hit his driver off his feet…

Scared of what might happen to him, he stayed in the car. The biker then began following Jhonia… After a minute she realized she is being followed but she was not afraid and that was even weirder. She stopped and so did the bike, she turned around and the biker dyed his lights.

Jhonia stood and stared at him. He rode off and Jhonia started walking but she realized biker seem to have interest in her home place, so she began walking slowly. The biker keeps riding at the same speed. Moments went by and she arrived home and realized the biker was there parked out front. She entered the building.

“That biker out front does he or she lives here?” Jhonia asked Cassidy.

“No, but he does come whenever you come and stay for half to an hour why?” Cassidy responded telling her then ask. Jhonia stood in silence as everything rushed back to her.

When she was informed, she’s being followed!

“Consider me your guardian angel on earth.”

“A guardian angel here on earth.”

“Get some rest angel.”

“Your guardian angel.”

“My guardian angel.”

Jhonia remembered what he said, what the cop said, what he said after calling her, what Orean said when he sends her Valentine’s Day gift, and what she said after reading his note.

“It’s him!” She started running back through the door!

“MS. JHONIA!!” Cassidy yelled as she noticed the terrifying look which changed, she fears she would be in danger. Her shouting alerted the biker who realized and rode off!

“WAIT!!! Please!” Jhonia screamed but she could only hear the loud sound of the bike leaving. Jhonia turned around to Cassidy who was in tears.

“Why are you crying, when I’m the one who missed him?” Jhonia inquired saying she is the one who lost something.

“What if he’s a bad person?” Cassidy asks.

“A bad person? Someone who has been protecting me, wouldn’t hurt me.”
