The following day! Jhonia arrived at the office and did her daily routine before she began working. Kyhe was receiving a call on his cell phone. He stood at the glass window looking at the city. He reached for his phone and answered it.

“Hello!”

“Hello, Mr. Knight. How are doing in the crisis of your beautiful Secretary?” A male voice asked and Kyhe removed the phone from his ear and notice the number is unsaved.

“Who are you?” Kyhe asked, placing his free hand into his pocket!

“Alshane. We will soon become quite the friends or should I say business partners. But what interests me is that beautiful, and intelligent Jhonia that is still by your side and of course, she would because the news is fake, but her husband isn’t… I’m here to answer the questions roaming around in your head. Is she there with you by chance?” Alshane clarifies his reasons for calling. Yet he jumps right over to Jhonia without hesitation saying then ask?

“No, she’s doing her work! Alshane, what makes you think I will want to work with you?” Kyhe responded to him, before he then asks.

“Because I am someone Ms. Smith, holds dear if she was to see me again, haha! You no longer stand a chance, why? Did you not?” Alshane caught Kyhe attention by telling he’s someone dear to Jhonia, but when he ask. Kyhe became very angry. Then he went ahead and explained himself which made Kyhe relax a bit while, Alshane continue to explain to him how he come to know what he seems to know in other words and ask.

“Guests?” He asked himself and walked back to his desk and screened out the window, taking his seat to continue his work!

While, Mrs. Pinnock had just arrived. Jhonia smelled her perfume and look up immediately to see her walking in with her driver. She stood up in surprise, she then rushed over to meet Mrs. Pinnock. Everyone was surprised yet question who the woman was. Not many people in Sky know her as Mrs. Pinnock but as a businesswoman without a name for the public just not a face, but a face that Jhonia knows.

“What is going? Why are you here?” Jhonia asked her, as she had stopped Mrs. Pinnock from going to Kyhe’s office.

“I will tell you about it later.” Mrs. Pinnock said to her, stepping away but Jhonia blocked her!

“You should be resting and not being here, why are you here?” Jhonia said to her, then she proceeded to ask.

“Something very important that I need to speak with him about. It won’t take long. Hmm? Trust mommy.” Mrs. Pinnock said, giving her a cheek kiss and leaving her. She tried to stop again but her driver stops Jhonia.

“Madam, is doing it for you.” He said to her and left her. Mrs. Pinnock knocked on the door and then entered after Kyhe said so. Kyhe looked up and was surprised to her, he stood.

“Standing up for me is not necessary. Though, I can’t say you will want after you know who I’m.” Mrs. Pinnock said to him, taking a seat before him.

“Ms. MçCold. What brings you to my company? For if you made a deal with DOJ, please don’t pull back because of the news. It’s how reporters stay reporters; they too need to get pay even if someone’s name has to be trampled on for a bit.” Kyhe addressed her and asked. Telling not pull back if they have business together, as he explain why as it’s their job.

“Oh! I’m here because I’m Jhonia mother-in-law and Nearce Pinnock mother.” Mrs. Pinnock said to him. Kyhe looked back over at her immediately his calm manner disappears from his body, his facial expressions change instantly. No more welcome manners, just a sudden coldness that tells her, she’s no longer welcome.

“As I expected. Mr. Knight but I doubt you have come to hate my son more than I do.” Mrs. Pinnock said to him, thereon he was surprised by her words, that’s not something a mother would or any mother should say.

“Jhonia, was sold to me after losing but her parents and her uncle who I have come to know is not a good person. Then I was more than happy to buy her, yet she was even smarter than I thought. Her parents left deaths behind, and she made them her own to pay off! In other words, she had sold me and that’s all it was. A cold and mountain full of attitude, observant, heartless, yet pure-hearted soul, she was, the daughter. I needed but didn’t have as my own but then she was, and you can’t imagine the happiness I had inside. Until he tore through her heart and soul, the pain and suffering he brought her drove me to a sick stratum! I’m here to tell that if you have ever cared for her don’t be another version of my son.” Mrs. Pinnock said to him, losing herself to her tears. She wipes them away and smiles standing up! Kyhe sat could not believe what he had just heard, and it came from Nearce mother a woman who gave birth to him, he wondered if Nearce is that bad? Because he has never paid attention to his other business, but he remembered when Nearce called his wife. That day and when he turns to see who or was, the woman was rushing away.

“All of this is none of my concerns and Secretary Smith made that very clear. Whether or not, I have feelings for her? The second I felt betrayed I lost it.” Kyhe stated as Jhonia had told him, he then questioned his feelings as he stared up at Mrs. Pinnock dead in the eyes he told her, he lost it, whatever feelings he had. Mrs. Pinnock surprisingly fell for his lies as did Jhonia. He was able to convince them days apart. Mrs. Pinnock was disappointed because she hoped it would be he who replaced Nearce now that there is a baby on the way.

“At least send your bodyguard to my home, they are a few things I must thank him for as a few to request of him.” Mrs. Pinnock said with a heartwarming smile. Kuwain was whom she speaks of and he knew it but what Mrs. Pinnock couldn’t see was the fact that she changed pace after Kyhe rejected her was wearing him down inside. He was so angry, but Mrs. Pinnock had long gone from his office, leaving her address when he smashed his laptop with his fist.
