The President Broken Angel

The following day! Jhonia arrived at the office and had finally set eyes on the huge screen on the wall above the elevators. “90 percent of the Sky department is on Ms. Jhonia Smith. Side, Truth. The remaining percent awaiting from President of Sky company.” Jhonia sighed and walked off to the elevator.

“There’s still 110 percent left! Does mean that he is the one withholding the remaining hundreds and ten?” Jhonia questioned. Going up on the elevator.

“Do you want to tell me about it?” Mrs. Knight asked while looking at him seated across from her on the solo sofa. “She’s the one you have been dreaming about lately. Is that why you have lost interest in searching for the one you met first?” Mrs. Knight questions him. Immediately he looked over at his mother from his phone.

“Where is this coming from?” Kyhe asked, narrowing his eyebrows to his mother.

“It’s not hard to see that you care about her seeing you left sky in her hands. You never left Kuwain or your dad in charge. You find it hard to trust people even when you pretend to, yet you trust her. Could it have been the second you led eyes in her? Or isn’t because she is keeping some sort of secret for you?” His mother explained telling how he trust less not even his father, but he trusts a secretary, then asked him. Kyhe remembers when he first met Jhonia and realized how nervous she was, but he was even more nervous than she was.

“Okay, so maybe I trusted her a bit than I should because she saved Sky from going down on her own without a single help from me, she’s so young and has not been schooled like she should but it didn’t stop her, she came and did things I wasn’t expecting. I hated it when she is misunderstood, or she made me smiles without even try or how I wonder if she got home and if she safe. Haha, hear me talking like I got married to a woman, I’m only now getting to know. She is either always prepared or she can decide to win over any client on the spot, she doesn’t butter up things, she changes it and if it can’t be changed, she fixes it. I’m home because I can’t face her, mom. I was disappointed in myself because she showed me so many times she married, and I just thought it was Kuwain she’s dating. I felt I have been betrayed by the world and I can’t face her because I want to hug and tell her I don’t believe it, but I do believe it and she is married. Omg, I fell in love with another man’s woman and not just any man. Mom! My enemy. My God dam enemy. She’s married to him.” Kyhe finally started talking and his mother was sure even if he was angry now maybe he’s in love with her but answering the question in his mother’s head. He clarified how she rocked his world in ways he would never have imagined. Now, he can’t even face her because he won’t be able to hold himself back, especially if he noticed a glimpse of pain in her eyes. But he couldn’t because she not a free woman she has a title, to not just anyone but to Nearce Pinnock!

“She saved Sky how?” His mother asked. He smirks because he was expecting his mother be Judgmental.

“I was going to sign a contract with a company called Baco, but its real name is S&C. She worked on it and found the wrongs and saved me from going to jail and sky from falling apart. I don’t how she did it so don’t ask?” He responded to his mother, who gave him a smile.

“I will tell you how. She pays attention and that is something you fall far into. At least till now. Well, at least you have- Wait… Did she quit?” His mother explained by mocking him, cutting herself off and then asked Kyhe rub the back of his head.

“No.” He responded to his mother with a smile.

“I see. Then when she came to you and asked you to use your influence. Let me put it this way, if she come and ask you remove the gossip, will you?” His mother said asking him but stopped and ask him in another per say she doesn’t he has a good influence with the media.

“I don’t know but if I should guess, I would.” Kyhe responded and that was all his mother, seems to have needed from him. She nodded and smiled.

“Why don’t you take the day to go check on Tyu?” His mother asks of him.

“No. She has grown to like her since the Valentine’s Day party, she definitely going to go at me about this and I’m already avoiding her calls. I think I will stay here with you, thank you.” Kyhe said to his mother who then stood up and walked over to him.

“Then, rest well because something tells me this gossip is not over and also, I heard Mrs. Pinnock visited you I wonder if she will do it again?” His mother said to him, then wondered as she stared out the glass window out the garden as she asked with a smile.

At the company!

“Jhonia!” Lusinly called her and she turned around in her chair.

“Could you send this to Kyhe? I would send it myself, but he has shown himself all morning I’m afraid he might take out his issues on me.”

She asked Jhonia, then explained why she didn’t want to do it herself! Jhonia took it with a nod, turning around back to her computer, when her office phone rang.

“Hello!”

“Hello, Secretary Smith. I have been calling the President’s office and have yet to get a response. I’m calling from the Law Department. By chance could go and see why he’s not answering?” A male colleague asks of her. She then looked up at Kyhe’s office which is closed off and she wondered why he’s not taking the calls.

“Okay, I will check however, if the message is very important, please pass it onto me. This way I can pass it on to him, that is if I should hear what the matter is.” Jhonia responded to him but quickly gave him an option though reminding him, if he mustn’t speak of it with her, if he shouldn’t.

“Okay, please check with him first. Therefore, if the message can pass on from you then I will tell you however you must give the message before midnight.” The male companion responded to her telling the message is to be delivered before midnight.

“I see. I will check with him first and see why he’s not picking then I will get back to you.” Jhonia responded and hung up.

“The message is that important why is calling in the afternoon? But like everyone else I haven’t seen him all morning, I didn’t even know if he had passed me by like yesterday without me knowing?” Jhonia asks herself she then picked the file and went off to his office, surprise it was locked she use her badge to confirm her entry where his office looked exactly like she left it yesterday. She noticed he was there but proceeded to call him, as she then began looking around and noticed a remote control which she picked up and pressed one of the two buttons when nothing happens, she pressed the other thinking it would be the same.

“Did he not come to the office?” she asked, walking over to where she noticed what seemed like a door when the office began getting brighter and by the second, she turned around a look to notice a huge outdoor glass.

“Oh my God. Wow.” She said as she was about to walk to it, she remembered why she was there and quickly going press the button. She pressed the first button and watched go back down completely then went to the door where she found a closet.NôvelDrama.Org © 2024.
