There was a buzzing sound of a phone inside the dim room.

A slender white arm reached out of the blanket and searched around the bedside table.

She looked at the background and found out that they were at a party. She recalled Lucas Hawk's tender attention to her whenever they were at a party.

Her bones cracked with pain. Her eyes glistened as tears fell off from the corner of her eyes.

She dared not imagine how Nora Davis' daily life was like after they got back together. She lowkey hoped Lucas Hawk would find any difference, but this picture made her see reality which she feared the most
