The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage

"It's not something you see every day!" the man exclaimed as he whipped out his phone to record the scene, but an invisible force smacked it away.

Sally raised a brow in curiosity. "What, are you worried about publicity?"

Frank ignored her, as he always preferred to keep his head down. Showing off was simply not his style, not to mention that Shagan was basically a war zone right now.

If he could hide, he would!

Winding down the window, he allowed the man to fly inside.

His face was pale as he trembled, speaking with a thick accent that was at least understandable. "W- What are you doing?"

"I guess you must be important, seeing as you took the pain to learn Draconian."

Sally smirked and started to interrogate him since she had nothing else to do anyway. "Come on, tell us- who sent you? Why would you want to attack him?"

The man threw his hands up. "W-We're just paid to do a job! Do anything you want-I don't know a thing!" "Woah, you actually know that line?"

Sally laughed. "I guess you've been here for a while! In that case, I'm sure you'd know how much our ancestors contributed into the art of torture. It's really one of a kind even throughout history... so if you upset me at all, you're really going to get it. Or just test us and see!"

Like Sally had put it, the man had spent quite a lot of time locally and knew how things worked around here, including its traditions.

There were people with honor, as well as psychos like Sally who did whatever they had to just to get the job done!

And if they were not worried about their own lives, they certainly would not worry for their enemies!

With that in mind, the man cried, "W-We're with BM Group! They said you killed our boss, so the elders are sending us after you! That's all I know... Please just let me go!"

Sally nodded in satisfaction. "Honesty. I like that... but you forgot to tell us something. For example, where's your safehouse?"

She was not that naive-since this man was not brought in out of nowhere, he must have had a safehouse to work from.

And if he did not mention it, that would mean it was valuable information!

"I-I can't tell you!" the man pleaded.

"Fair enough! I don't like forcing

people to do anything against their will..." Sally shrugged and seized his wrist, crushing it and leaving it dangling.

Even as the man screamed and sweated bullets, the chauffeur glanced behind, terrified by the mess Sally made.

He was a descendant of a Cerulean Summit Legionnaire too and knew about Sally. However, all he knew was that she was a scientist and therefore did not expect such savagery!

"I love torture. In psychological jargon, I'm called a deviant!"

Sally grinned evilly, the shadow in the car making her look especially eerie.

The man certainly realized that he must not make an enemy of her, or he would be in a world of pain before his inevitable death!

"J-Just ahead... There's this gas station..."

Sally smiled and nodded. She then suddenly grabbed him by the neck and threw him out of the car window!

She was immensely strong thanks

to the power of the spiritron vein Frank granted her. And with inertia at work, the man slammed heavily on the road, twitching for just a moment before croaking.
