The Divorcee and Her Three Chaotic Children (Olivia Clarke and William)

Chapter 35

Chapter 35

William entered the study after returning home.

At this moment, looking at the information on the computer screen, he, obviously solemn and annoyed,

tapped his fingers against the rosewood table and asked in a cold voice, “Is this the information about

the International Council of Nonprofits you gathered”

Marshall lowered his head and replied with a distressed look in his eyes, “Mr. Kinsman, the information

about the International Council of Nonprofits had been erased when we went to gather information, so

we couldn’t find anything other than this. I suspect that Miss Clarke has taken precautions.”

Then he revealed another piece of news. “Moreover, the information was erased shortly after you

instructed me to gather it. In other words, there may be a mole among us.”

William suddenly stopped rhythmically tapping his fingers on the table, squinted his eyes slightly to

stare at the gla** of water on the table, and asked, “When I instructed you to get the information, was

there anyone around us?”

After thinking it over, Marshall replied hesitantly, “At that moment, we walked past young Mr. Kinsman’s

bedroom.”

But how could it be possible for young Mr. Kinsman, who was only five years old, to contact Olivia?

What’s more, there was no connection between them.

William ruled out this possibility as well, and said with an obscure look in his deep eyes, “She’s more

capable than I thought and even planted a mole nearby. Go and conduct a thorough investigation into

everyone you came into contact with. If you fail to find the mole, you’ll be sent to Srence where you can

be a farmer.”

When Marshall left the study with a dejected look on his face, his legs were a little weak.

In order to keep his job and not be sent to Srence, he had to find this mole!

He would get rid of anyone who was audacious enough to play tricks right under Mr. Kinsman’s nose!

William, who had a bigger problem with sleeping recently, felt a slight headache and subconsciously

reached out to rub the bridge of his nose. Just as he was about to turn off the computer and try to sleep

for a while, he found that there was an anomaly in the infrared surveillance data from the roof.

Although the anomaly just flashed across the screen, it still caught his attention and instantly alerted

him.

He immediately turned on the thermal sensing system in the Kinsman family’s villa and found footage

of the roof. At the same time, a screen rose out of the wall in front of him.

On the huge screen, eight cameras were turned on at the same time, enabling him to see everything

on the roof at a glance.

Meanwhile, he turned on the infrared data synchronizer on the computer, trying to trace the location of

the anomaly.

He was very sure that there was an intruder in the villa, and he had spread an escape-proof net!

Seeing the indistinct anomaly, he soon determined the general location of the intruder.

Just then, he got on the internal line and said, “Marshall, go to the west side of the roof and catch the

intruder!”

When seeing that the intruder was finally caught in the escape-proof net he spread, William became

joyful in an instant.

He wanted to see who would come to his home to make trouble again and again!

Meanwhile, on the roof

Olivia searched for a long time but failed to find a way out of the net composed of dense infrared rays.

In desperation, she had to muster up the courage to link a calculating pattern to the infrared transmitter.

In this way, it could interfere with the original system and create a loophole in the infrared net so that

she could find a way

out.

Unexpectedly, the system of the villa had been strengthened by at least three-fold. She was discovered

as soon as she took action.

Moreover, these infrared rays could attack the heat from bodies automatically. Just now, she had only

touched the infrared rays a little, but they burned a hole in her leather jacket.

If she went out and disregarded the infrared rays, she would presumably be riddled with holes!

Does that ba stard William hide some treasure in his house? Is it really necessary to install such a high-

tech security system? Olivia involuntarily cursed.

Now she was in a dilemma, like a beast that had fallen into a trap!

Seeing that her position had been exposed and hearing the bodyguards in the yard getting closer and

closer, Olivia couldn’t help but feel nervous. Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.

Was she going to be caught like this?

No, she had to think of a way to get out of there!

After thinking quickly, she found a blind spot of the infrared rays, hid there, and threw out her jacket.

Her exquisite and thick leather jacket was instantly pierced through by the infrared rays and burned into

a ball of fire in the

air.

Soon, it was burned into ashes.

Although the fire went out quickly, it gave the searching bodyguards an obvious signal.

They shouted, “He’s over there!”

“Be quick!”

As expected, the bodyguards swarmed to the roof. Then, Olivia clearly saw that the infrared transmitter

was turned off the moment the bodyguards got on the roof.

It was a good opportunity!

When the infrared transmitter was turned off, she immediately turned and jumped off the roof. With the

iron lock in her hand, she deftly jumped over several roofs and soon disappeared into the night.

When the bodyguards realized what had happened, they only saw Olivia’s back.

William clearly saw all this through the surveillance camera in the study.

Unfortunately, he didn’t see her face, but he could roughly tell that it was a woman!

What a cun n ing woman!

As William sat in thought, Olivia’s face suddenly came to his mind.

He instantly showed a cold look in his deep eyes.

Could it be her?

He was not sure, but he somehow felt a little upset at the thought of Olivia.

As Gianna refused to go abroad, Marshall left her alone, and the bodyguards at the door of the hospital

room also left with him.

She lay in the hospital bed in despair, staring blankly at the ceiling.

She was doomed. It was all over. William broke up with her, so she would not be able to become the

most distinguished woman in Melburgh!

This thought constricted her tightly and haunted her like a bottomless pit, causing her to stop breathing.

Despair was an insufficient word to describe her current state of mind.

The scandal about her on the Internet did not decrease at all. She had an intuition that William was

really going to give up on her this time!

Unable to free herself from fright, she wrapped herself up tightly. It was not until Caroline showed up

that she was pulled out of her pit of despair.

“Mom, William dumped me. Why did he do that? We got along so well before!” At the sight of Caroline,

Gianna burst into tears as if she was grabbing a life-saving straw.

“Gianna, what did you say? Mr. Kinsman dumped you? What exactly happened?” Caroline asked.

She had come to Gianna with her last hope. Hearing this startling news, she instantly became nervous

and her heart sank.

What she had been worried about finally happened!

“William, William said that we’re not getting married. He dumped me. Mom, what should I do? Tell me,

what should I do?” Gianna grabbed Caroline like a crazy woman and complained tearfully, totally out of

her mind.

“Gianna, calm down. Tell me what happened between you and Mr. Kinsman. Why did he dump you?

Could it be that he found out you threw that little ba stard Lucian off the cliff?” Caroline asked.
