The Divorcee and Her Three Chaotic Children (Olivia Clarke and William)

Chapter 238

Chapter 238

All of William’s attention was focused on his wife, so he did not have time to worry about whether or not

Jodie had fallen.

He even suspected that the bang was a dull thunder in the sky and thought that he had to be faster or

his dear wife might get wet.

Jodic thought William would turn to help her, only to see him walk faster.

“It’s all that bi tch Olivia Clarke’s fault. She must have trashed me in front of William, or he wouldn’t

treat me like this!” she thought.

“William, don’t leave me here!”

Unwilling to give up, she stood up and limped after William. Then, she took a taxi and followed him.

At 9:55, as Olivia was taking pictures of Ezra, who was cutting the ribbon with other children, a large,

hot hand was suddenly put on her waist. She unconsciously elbowed back hard.

A familiar groan came to her ears. “Honey, are you trying to murder me?”

She turned to see William, his face pale, his brow furrowed in pain, a thin layer of sweat on his

forehead. Thinking of the wound on his belly, she quickly lifted his shirt to see if his wound had opened.

“What are you doing here?” she asked.

William took the opportunity to pull her into his arms and whispered into her ear, “I miss you, my dear

wife.”

“Let me go, William.” Olivia dared not struggle for fear of touching his wound or speak out loud for fear

of attracting the attention of the other parents.

William pushed his luck and kissed her on the cheek. Then he took the camera from her hand and took

a photo of her face. In the photo, the woman looked quite se xy, with clear, charming eyes and a

blushing face.

“Mommy! Daddy!” Ezra ran to them after the ribbon-cutting ceremony and asked, “Mommy, did you

take a picture of my beautiful face?”

Before Ezra left for the ribbon cutting, he had asked Olivia to take a picture of him cutting the ribbon. It

was something he had always wanted to do after seeing it on TV shows. It was also the only thing that

interested him in this ceremony.

But he hadn’t seen his such a photo after flipping through the camera’s photo album. He gave William

an annoyed look.

William coughed, embarra**ed. “I’ll take one for you next time, I promise.”

“Sure enough, you are in love with each other, and I’m just a byproduct of your love.” Ezra pouted.

“Ezra, look.” Olivia suddenly raised the instant camera and took a selfie of the three of them. Ezra, who

had just been angry, immediately put on a bright smile for the camera.

A handsome boy, Ezra would never allow himself to look unattractive in a photo.

The photo was quickly printed out, but before Olivia could get a good look at it, William sna tched it out

of her hand and carefully stuffed it into his wallet.

“I suggest you don’t do that, Mr. Kinsman. If anyone sees this, they’ll make trouble for me again.” Olivia

didn’t realize she was sounding jealous.

“Who dares to make trouble for my wife? They must have a death wish.” William put his wallet in his

pocket and patted it as if it were a precious treasure.

“Daddy, what age are you? Why are you putting photos in such an old-fashioned way?” Ezra blinked

his big eyes and looked at William in confusion.

Despite his son’s disdain, William solemnly said, “It’s what you do with what you value.”

“Daddy, admit it. You are out of date. I won’t laugh at you.” Ezra stood on his tiptoes and patted his

father on the shoulder. Then he showed him his smartwatch, which was filled with photos of Olivia and

her two children over the past five years. From the moment the children were born to the present day,

he hadn’t been there with them.

William couldn’t imagine how Olivia had lived abroad alone with their two children and how much

hardship had she endured to raise the two children so well, to be excellent enough to be his equal and

return to him.

“Ezra, the teacher wants you.” Olivia noticed the look on William’s face and the redness in his eyes, so

she quickly sent Ezra

away.

She had no intention of revealing her past to William, at least not now.

“Daddy, you have to take good care of Mommy to make up for the past five years.” Before he left, Ezra

reminded William like a grownup.

William raised his head, looked at Olivia with guilt and affection, and said, “I’m sorry, Olivia…

“You don’t have to apologize. They are my kids. I was willing to raise them. You don’t have to feel like

you owe me anything.” Like other parents, Olivia stood outside the cla**room and watched as, in a

matter of minutes, Ezra became the most popular boy in the cla**, followed by a group of admirers.

“I will be there with you and our kids.”

William was overcome with guilt. When he thought of how Olivia had suffered abroad for five years and

how that idiot Jodie had provoked her, he wanted to tear Jodie apart and cut out his heart to show

Olivia how much he loved her.

Olivia didn’t bother arguing with him. She turned to leave, but her arm was grabbed by William. The

man who had just been determined to show her his loyalty was now leaning weakly against her.

“Feigning illness is so outdated these days. I suggest you change your act.”

“I know you have a tender heart.”

“Don’t go all tender-hearted on me.”

Olivia pushed his head away, but William put his arms around her shoulders and pressed his lips to her

shoulder, saying, “I’m not. I just love you too much.”

Behind the flower bed in the kindergarten, a pair of vicious eyes were fixed on the two of them hugging

each other, and her nails made a harsh sound on the edge of the flower bed.

Suddenly, with a cra ck, her nails broke.

Jodie stamped her feet in pain and swore to herself, “Bi tch, you took William away from me and made

a fool of me. I will make sure you pay the price!”

After that, she turned to look at Ezra, who was talking with the teacher in the cla**room.

But before she could do anything, two bodyguards came over and pushed her against the flower bed.

The dirty soil immediately covered her face.

The noble and elegant Ms. Pratt had never suffered such humiliation before. She screamed, “Let me

go! Do you know who I am?”

“We don’t know who you are, but we know that you are not the parent of any child here. You act all

sneaky outside the cla**room. We suspect that you are trying to hurt the children.”

The bodyguard’s voice was not low and soon attracted the attention of the parents standing outside the

cla**room. When the parents heard that someone was going to hurt their children, they immediately

asked the kindergarten to call the police.

The children here were all from rich and noble families and their parents, like any other parents, would

never allow anything to happen to their children.

“Didn’t this kindergarten say it had the best security system in the world? How could someone sneak

in?”

“Our children were exposed to this kind of danger on their first day here. I don’t think staying here is the

right choice for my baby.”
