Chapter 371

Noelle’s lips were pressed tightly together, her determination clear. “If those people want to marry him, they can go ahead. But I won’t marry him, not in a million years!”

“Could you repeat that?”

“Madam Shaw?”

Out of nowhere, a voice that sounded a bit familiar cut through Jade and Noelle’s argument. Jade paused, shooting Noelle a sharp look. “You’d better watch how you talk to me!” Then, with a smile, she asked, “Is that Yitty’s kid, Bob?”

Noelle blinked, confused. She saw Jade smiling warmly at someone behind her. With a slight frown, she turned around. When she saw the man standing there, her mouth twitched.

He was dressed in a light brown suit that fit him perfectly, making him look very handsome. The man wore a polite smile, looking relaxed but also giving off a vibe of someone important.

If Noelle did not know him, she might have been fooled by his looks.

With a mix of feelings playing across her face, Noelle looked at the man and started to say, “You…” This is property © of NôvelDrama.Org.

“Hello, I’m Bob!” the man greeted, his smile polite but distant. “Are you the Madam Shaw my mother spoke about?”

“Yes, that’s right.” Jade was quite taken with the impressive man in front of her. She found it hard to look away. However, inside, she was starting to wish she had not introduced Noelle to such an

outstanding guy.

In Jade’s mind, Noelle just was not right for a guy like that. However, it was too late to change anything then. With a smile, she said, “Come here. Let me introduce you two. This is my second daughter, Noelle. Noelle, this is Bob, Yitty’s son. I’ve mentioned him quite a lot! Have you greeted Mr. Smith yet?”

Noelle opened her mouth but did not say anything. She just stared at the man in front of her. This was Bob?

She knew something was up, but she still reached out her hand. She had noticed a playful twinkle in ‘Bob’s eyes. “Hello, Mr. Smith.”

“Ms. Noelle, hello! I’ve heard a lot about you!”

Jade thought the two were getting along well, so she suggested, “Let’s go inside and chat. Your mom and I thought you two should meet.” She led them into a lounge, then quietly warned Noelle, “Speak to Mr. Smith properly, and don’t cause any trouble.” Jade’s voice had a stern edge to it.

Noelle squinted but did not argue, which made Jade think Noelle actually liked Bob. “Okay, I need to go and welcome the other guests. You keep Mr. Smith company.”

After Jade left and closed the door with a final warning look at Noelle, Noelle finally turned to the man and said with a smirk, “Bob? Ha! When did you start going by this new name?”

“Ah!” The man shook his head, his face suddenly transforming into a harmless smile. “You know, if Charles finds out that I’m your blind date, he’ll be so mad!”
