Chapter 1186

Nina said, "But only Kane knows how to modify the robot. None of us have a clue, and he's not here

right now. How are we going to do it?"

Kane replied, "No worries. Let's assemble it first, and we'll modify it when Kane gets back."

"Alright then," Nina nodded in agreement.

Skyler brought over a large blanket and spread it out on the grass. Everyone then began to piece

together the building blocks. Property © 2024 N0(v)elDrama.Org.

Kane was quietly focused on his blocks. Skyler sat beside him, occasionally glancing his way.

It was unlike William to have gone twenty minutes without speaking. My goodness, he was close to

breaking his personal record. If it weren't for his familiar face, one might have mistaken him for Kane.

Kane was a man of few words, especially when engrossed in a task, he was the epitome of

concentration. William, on the other hand, was the restless type, always chatting, breaking into song, or

even getting up to pace around and doing a few somersaults on the ground.

In short, he was lively and couldn't sit still unless he was under the weather.

"William, why so silent today? You're not feeling sick, are you?" Nina asked.

Kane shook his head, "Nope, just focused on building with the blocks."

After saying that, he returned to his intense concentration on the task at hand.

Skyler scratched his head in confusion.

Darn, why the silence again? It was usually William who started the conversations.

Nina blinked and chuckled, "William, you're not as talkative today. You're acting a bit like Kane."

"He must be missing Kane. Those two are inseparable," Mira said with a laugh. "Only when Uncle

Arnold returns does he ever leave his side."

Kane inwardly broke into a sweat.

He was trying so hard to act like William.

Mimicking someone was no easy feat, particularly in front of those who knew you well.

Although he knew William like the back of his hand, their personalities were polar opposites. Old habits

died hard, and change was difficult. Worse, a poor imitation would only raise suspicions. The more you

spoke, the more mistakes you would make. The more you did, the more you slipped up. Sometimes

silence was the best option.

"I... I threw the covers off last night and caught a bit of a cold. Feeling a bit dizzy, so I don't feel like

talking much."

"That explains it," Skyler said, sticking out his tongue. He knew something was off. William only ever

went silent when he wasn't feeling well.

"You should pop a Vitamin C and drink plenty of water to boost your immune system."

"Will do. I'll take some soon," Kane nodded.

The butler brought in a fruit platter. The Stirling family had a dietitian who tailored the healthiest food

combinations for the kids, including a daily selection of five different fruits.

Kane wasn't picky and would eat anything. William, however, was fussy about food and didn't like pears

or dragon fruit...

Kane speared a piece of dragon fruit with a toothpick, about to eat it.

Skyler's voice came from beside him, "William, that's dragon fruit. You don't like that."

Kane internally panicked and had forgotten.

"I... I've got a cold today, and dragon fruit is high in Vitamin C, so I thought I'd have some."

"Oh," Skyler smiled. "I just wanted to make sure you didn't eat it by mistake and spit it out."

Kane said earnestly, "The dietitian mentioned it's not good for kids to be picky eaters. I'm trying to kick

the habit and eat everything." New chаpter avąilable on Drаmanоvels.cом

Mira grinned, "I'm not picky at all. I love to eat everything."
