William exhaled, returning his excitement, "I can't believe Susanna's here in Elysium. This is
awesome."
"You must miss your friends back in Goldstone," Kane remarked.
Nodding, William said, "Yeah, I do. I worry they'll forget about me if they make new friends."
Kane clapped him on the shoulder, "How about next summer we both head to Goldstone? We can ask
Mom and Dad to take us. I'd love to see where you used to live."
Though only older by half an hour, Kane always played the role of the protective older brother.
"Sounds good," William agreed.
Meanwhile, in another room.
A sharp glint of suspicion flashed in Leopold's eyes.
William! Susanna had shouted William today.
He was certain it was William. Perhaps it was an online alias that coincidentally matched William's?
