Chapter Seven; Fate is a bitch
In the end, I received a two-week suspension for what happened. Regrettably, I wouldn’t get to feature in the official launch of the new fashion line my team developed. As much as it pained me because my designs were the most formidable pieces in the project, I was glad I didn’t lose my job.
“Take my cock like the needy bitch you are.”
I squeezed my eyes shut as a shiver ran up my spine, and I almost dropped Chelsea’s can of food as the vivid image flashed through my mind.
It had been two weeks, but it felt like it happened yesterday.
Chelsea meowed, her tail brushing my feet to get my attention. I blinked back to reality and shook my head, almost as if to shake the memory off. This is property © of NôvelDrama.Org.
But I couldn’t forget it; I mean, how could I just brush it off?
I had given my boss a freaking blowjob, ultimately crossing one of the activities on the list.
Give a blowjob. Check.
But I had never expected to complete it with Luke Graham.
My cheeks heated up as I flopped against the couch and squealed into my pillow. Chelsea leisurely ate her meal while I replayed the sound of his moans over and over in my head.
His touch burned me, leaving scars that were not seen but there.
His voice, his scent, his taste… They all left a heavy impression on me, one that made me fantasize about more scenarios.
Like him taking me against that lavish desk of his.
It was shameless of me to think of him that way, but I couldn’t get over how he was more annoyed about his rank on the list than being on the list itself.
It made me wonder what could be going through his mind. Did he like what had happened between us? Was he also thinking about how I made him feel?
Probably not.
That man was hotter than hell, and I’m sure he had a ton of women flocking after him. And by the way he coldly kicked me out of his office without hesitation, I had thought he wasn’t satisfied with me.
It was my first time doing such a thing, and I was no more than a rookie who studied X-rated videos for preparation.
But his reaction proved me wrong in so many ways. He enjoyed it, at least that’s what I hoped.
“I’m going crazy,” I said to no one in particular. The house was empty, and I hadn’t bothered to leave since my suspension.
I busied myself with designing, and my living room was littered with drawing paper left and right. I had taken a break to refresh my mind because it kept wandering off to dirty places and I couldn’t sketch a single thing.
I opted to watch a movie, and the moment that platinum TV sprang to life, Ezekiel Sterling’s charming smile was on display.
He was one of the candidates on the list and the most inaccessible one at that. But if by chance our paths do cross, I wonder how it’ll feel to finally meet him.
Although the chances of that happening were close to nothing.

I was back at work, and as I made my way through the large halls, I was relieved to see that I was no longer the center of attention. Everyone had moved on with their lives, or maybe they had too much work on their plates to care, either way, it worked in my favor.
Now I stood in front of the elevator, my heart thumping hard against my chest as I prepared myself to face my colleagues. They would surely want to get the full gist of things, but that wasn’t what I was worried about.
It was Caspian. I feared our friendship might have taken a heavy blow from the incident.
He must think I’m a perverted freak, which was somehow true, but I didn’t want him to know that.
It was too embarrassing.
I also thought about the CEO, but I was sure he wouldn’t pay much mind to me; he was a busy man. He must have forgotten about the whole thing.
But then the elevator doors slid open, and my heart skipped a beat.
Caspian stood alone in the small space, and I mentally cursed at my fate as I walked in.
I had expected him to get off, but he stayed behind. Caspian was staring intently at me, but I couldn’t bear to look him in the eye, so I settled my gaze on my vintage boots.
But then after we reached the second floor, he broke the silence.
“Aurelia.” His voice came out a whisper, and I was taken aback by the heavy emotion that strung along with it.
I looked up at him, a gasp escaping my lips as he suddenly pulled me into his embrace. Caspian’s arms snaked around my waist as he buried his face in the crook of my neck, and my cheeks burst into scarlet when I felt his bulge press against my abdomen.
“Caspian.” I called out his name because nothing else came to mind, and he responded by pulling back, his eyes smoldering with intensity.
“I’ve missed you.” He breathed out, resting his forehead against mine. “I’ve missed you so much, Auri.”
I did not know it was possible for my heart to do a backflip, but it certainly did a triple flip as I nestled into his arms.
Caspian was holding me. If this was a dream, then I better be in eternal slumber.
“I missed you too,” I said meekly, my gaze flickering to his plump pink lips. “I thought you didn’t want to see me,” I added, and Caspian shook his head gently as one hand slid from my waist to my face. He caressed my cheek, and I leaned into his touch.
“I didn’t know how to react to everything,” he confessed, his thumb wandering to my bottom lip as he brushed against it softly. “I couldn’t believe you wanted me like that… like the way I want you.”
Oh Lord. He wants me? How long has he felt this way?
“Really?” I blurted out, wide-eyed and shocked, but happiness tingled in my chest and spread throughout my body.
“Remember, ‘Never have I ever touched myself at the thought of a coworker,'” he said with a seductive smirk. “You’re the coworker, Aureli”
I didn’t wait for him to finish before I pressed my lips against his, swallowing his words.
Caspian kissed me back with doubled passion, and I let out a soft moan as he grabbed a handful of my ass and squeezed.
He could take me right here, and I wouldn’t mind.
We were so lost in the moment, so much that we didn’t hear the indicating ding as we reached the next floor, neither did we notice that the elevator doors had slid open once more.
Someone cleared their throat, and only then did we jerk away from each other.
My blood ran cold as I saw who stood on the other side of the door, his eyes narrowed and his lips twisted into a displeased frown.
It was the CEO.
Fate was really a bitch.
