The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet

Chapter 2125

Just as she was zoning out, Hertha gave her a gentle nudge on the arm. "Thalassa, come on, reach out your hand." Having Thalassa's father there to personally walk her down the aisle was the best thing anyone could ask for.

Snapping back to reality, though somewhat hesitantly, Thalassa finally extended her hand to Joshua.

When Joshua took Thalassa's hand, her fingertips were icy cold, making him feel as though he was touching all the hardships and struggles she had faced over the past thirty years.

His heart clenched painfully. This was the first time he, as a father, had held his daughter's hand, the first time he truly felt the weight of her difficult journey.

In that moment, he was filled with regret for favoring Rosalind over her. Knowing that Thalassa had no one to back her up, he had still chosen to sideline his own daughter to fulfill the needs of his younger one.

Looking back, he realized how unfair he had been.

Thalassa, led by Joshua, and Hertha, guided by her father, made their way to the aisle.

The flower children, already waiting at the entrance, took their positions. Holding onto their mothers' dresses, they gracefully walked down the aisle to the sound of beautiful music.

Hertha had two flower children, while Thalassa had four. Two to hold her dress and two to scatter rose petals, which meant Thalassa's white wedding dress was especially adorned with red petals, spreading a romantic and joyful fragrance into the air.Text © owned by NôvelDrama.Org.

Thalassa's procession was double the romance.

Hertha's, however, was full of adorable mishaps.

Two-year-olds Helena and Julian, still new to the role of flower children, were confused. Unable to scatter petals and hold the dress at the same time, Julian ended up holding the dress while Helena focused on the petals, though not many were scattered.

Helena, in her miniature wedding dress and holding a flower basket, wobbled unsteadily and accidentally stepped on Hertha's dress, tumbling down. Her chubby, adorable mishap caused a burst of laughter from the crowd.

Ashton quickly helped Helena back to her feet.

The ceremony resumed normally, but this little incident meant Thalassa reached Lysander before Hertha did.

Joshua solemnly handed Thalassa's

Lysander, taking Thalassa's hand, responded with a deep, reassuring voice: "Of course."

His woman, his to cherish.

As Lysander was about to slip the ring onto Thalassa's finger, a commanding voice suddenly halted him.

Everyone turned toward the source

expression was stern, his demeanor formidable.

Thalassa's heart skipped a beat at the sight of him.

Zephyr!

Could he be here to stop her from marrying Lysander?

Nervously looking at Lysander, she found reassurance in his calm, steady gaze, giving her strength and courage not to panic.

With Lysander's comforting presence, Thalassa managed to steady herself, though her palms remained sweaty from the tension.

Zephyr approached closer and

stopped at the front row, sternly

addressing Lysander from the stage: "Lysander, you're getting married

and you didn't think to tell me?You really don't think much of me do you?"

"Grandpa, I was going to tell you after the wedding," Lysander explained.

"What, you didn't dare tell me? Afraid I'd ruin your big day?" Zephyr cut straight to his grandson's fears.

Lysander frowned, tightening his grip on Thalassa's hand.

Joshua tried to mediate: "Young people make their own choices, we should respect that."

"Oh, so you think I'm unreasonable too?" Zephyr shot back, leaving Joshua at a loss for words.

Zephyr's formidable presence only added to the tension felt by Lysander and Thalassa.
