Chapter 93: Finding Anya
Daniel sat in his big office, watching security camera videos on a large screen. His heart felt heavy as he realized something terrible: someone had taken Anya, his wife, whom he had promised to keep safe.
He looked closely at every part of the video, trying to find clues about where she went. The guards he had secretly placed to watch over Anya hadn’t been able to stop whoever took her.

“My everything,” he whispered, and she could tell how scared he had been. She wanted to make him feel better. She ran her fingers through his hair and said, here. I’m not going anywhere.”
