The Billionaire’s Maid Bride

Chapter 220

Chapter 220

Allison replied coolly, “Nah if you want to go, feel free. There should be plenty of folks over there.”

Aurora hesitated briefly, watching Allison gradually distance herself before catching up, “I think I’ll join you heading west. When we hit the fence, we can turn back. But West doesn’t seem to have anything exciting.”

Off they went.

They were in a primordial forest, almost untouched by humans. Weeds grew wild, and bugs and small animals were everywhere. A few minutes in, Allison felt an itch on her neck, as if something had bitten her. She sprayed some itch relief from her bag and wrapped a scarf around her neck.

Aurora was well–off and used to the good life. This was her first time in a place like this, but she wasn’t being high–maintenance. If a bug bit her, she just sprayed some bug repellent. She followed Allison, but the further she went, the more scared she got, “Allison, do you think there could be snakes here?”

“Probably.”

The climate was humid, and trees were everywhere. The temperature was high, but the sun was blocked by the shade of the trees. The air was filled with moisture, and the natural environment was perfect for attracting snakes and insects.

Aurora was curious about everything. She took out her phone and started filming around her, documenting any interesting plants she came across. Their pace through the forest was slow, they were unfamiliar with the place and didn’t dare venture too deep. But it was their first time here, and curiosity got the best of them.

There was an artificial lake nearby. They found a clean spot, laid some leaves, and rested. Aurora held her phone, filming in the distance.

“Luca, Kamilla, didn’t you guys head east? How’d you end up here?” Aurora looked up to see someone approaching. Recognizing them, she called out in delight.

Leading the way were James Burke and Lucian, both clad in grey sportswear and wearing baseball caps. Kamilla Lindberg trailed behind, complaining about tiredness, bugs everywhere, and her skin itching like crazy.

“Aurora, did you come alone?”

Aurora shook her head, “No, Allison is here too.” She pointed in a direction, “She’s by the lake.” Content is © by NôvelDrama.Org.

She called out loudly, “Allison, Allison!”

Allison heard her and walked over. It was only a few steps, but because of the thick trees and weeds, some even taller than a person, it was when Allison got closer that she saw Lucian was there too.

She frowned.

Wasn’t this guy supposed to be heading east? She had taken a detour, only to run into him again.

Aurora suggested, “Let’s take some photos here.”

Kamilla nodded, “Sure, why not.”

At first, they waved their phones around for selfies, seeking the best angles, and adjusting filters, and then Aurora pulled out a camera and tripod from her bag.

Allison stood aside, not intending to join them. Lucian, James, Kamilla, and others had already taken their positions, or more accurately, Lucian. had never moved while the others stood around him. Aurora adjusted the camera, set the timer, and waved at Allison, “Allison, come over. Let’s take a group photo.”

Allison stayed put.

Aurora quickly walked over, grabbed her and brought her over.

The camera snapped, capturing Aurora pulling Allison, their upper bodies appearing in the frame.
