Jessica’s Pov

Victor moved away from the doctor, gripping his excruciatingly red fist, while I stood in a corner with my

hands on my mouth.

I was sure the doctor was going to punch Victor back when he stood up, but he turned away and

walked away to his side of the desk. Perhaps he was aware of the level of heartbreak and stress we

were experiencing.

“I’m going to sue this stup*d hospital for the procedure you performed on my son without my

permission!” Victor screamed, still clutching his fist.

The doctor sat down and removed his hand from his cheek, his swollen face visible. I remained in the

corner, uncertain whether he was going to retaliate.

“Can we all sit down and discuss in a civil manner now that you’ve vented your rage?” the doctor NôvelDrama.Org owns this.

suggested.

“Bullsh*t!” Victor screamed

“Mr. Nelson, you’d be at a morgue identifying your son’s dead body if I hadn’t removed his testicle,” the

doctor replied.

I observed a shift in his tone; he was dead serious, unlike the last time we spoke with him when he was

full of regret. I assumed it was the heavy punch to the face that he got.

“Is your son’s life less important than testicles?” he inquired.

“How dare you? How do you expect him to start a family?” Victor replied.

“The most important thing is that he is alive, as the helicopter tail nearly crashed his entire pelvic area.

Plus he can always adopt or find a sperm donor, his life is not yet over,” the doctor replied.

I nearly burst out laughing, having a child of my own was a burden to me and my career. I couldn’t see

myself raising someone else’s brat.

Adoption was definitely out of the picture. I cleared my throat and asked; “Will he be able to function

down there… Can he have sex?”

“We performed reconstructive plastic surgery, ensuring that his private parts were restored. You can’t

tell he doesn’t have testicles unless you tell him, and if you don’t tell him, there is no way of him

knowing” the doctor explained.

Victor’s face softened and his chest compressed slightly as he turned to face me. I could only hope he

wasn’t considering keeping his son in the dark.

Even if we didn’t want to, it was impossible since testicles were responsible for the synthesis of

testosterone, which was a crucial component of every male’s sexual function, the most essential of

which was the production of sperms.

But my husband had been castrated of his testicles and he was nothing more than a shell of a man, our

sex life was never going to be the same for him.

What I despised the most was the fact that he last f**ked me the way he used to f**k Thalia, despite the

fact that I had desired it.

The irony is that I’m sure if Thalia found out, she’d laugh our a*ses off. I burst out laughing like a l*natic

out of nowhere, I was losing it, and karma was definitely catching up with us.

“Are you okay, Mrs. Nelson?” The doctor stood up and inquired, concerned. I’ll invite one of our

counselors to spend some time with you. I understand that this is a major change for a young couple.”

“A man ejaculates sperm during sexual intercourse,” Victor said swiftly, “but how would he not realize

he has no testicles if there is no sperm coming out?” he asked.

The doctor took a breath before returning his eyes to Victor, he hesitated for a moment and peered in

my direction

“Don’t you think alerting your son about this major life shift would help him heal faster and receive the

counseling he requires?”

“Please respond to the stup id question!” Victor screamed at him and slammed his hands on the table.

The doctor sat down and said “two more org ans, the prostate gland, and seminal vesicle glands

generate seminal fluid, which nurtures and carries sperm.

Both are still intact, and if he ejaculates, he’ll be able to generate a whitish fluid lacking sperm. Keep in

mind that the testicles create sperm, not seminal fluid.”

Victor shifted his gaze back to me, knowing full well that whatever he was thinking was evil and

ominous.

“Mr. Nelson, also keep in mind that the testicles create most of the testosterone, while the adrenal

glands make only a minor amount. Testosterone therapy is required for your son,” the doctor continued.

“Is that going to help with sperm production?” Victor inquired.

“No, it will improve sex function, hormone balance, and self-esteem,” said the doctor.

Victor locked his gaze on the doctor for a long time, and the room fell silent. I was deep in

contemplation, trying to figure out what he was thinking and where his inquiries were leading.

“Doctor, your job is done,” he said, clearing his throat. “When my son regains consciousness, we as the

family will decide what to tell him and what not to tell him” Victor made a statement.

“What do you mean by that?” I asked as I stood up and wiped my tears away but he dismissed my

question and continued to speak with the doctor.

“How many doctors are aware of my son’s procedure?”

“Me, the plastic surgeon, and two theater nurses,” the doctor said, perplexed.

“Keep it that way; my lawyer will send paperwork to all of you; if word of my son’s medical procedure

becomes public, you will all be arrested,” he said.

“What’s going on, Victor?” I asked but he ignored me again.

The doctor gave out a fake smile which was evident, I could see his hands shaking as he tried to hide

them by placing them on his laps.

“However, you should not be concerned about patient privacy, sir,” he stated.

“Only four of you should be aware of the Orchiectomy, that is what I’m asking for,” Victor responded

with a frosty retort. “If a fifth person finds out, you’ll all be imprisoned.”

The doctor began shaking, “I…think…the detective is aware of the Orchiectomy,” he stammered.

“Close your eyes and make sure you remember each person and hand me a list,” Victor said, irritated.

He stood up and exited the room. The doctor and I continued to look at each other, stunned.

I turned around and chased after Victor. He was up to something bad that I wouldn’t agree with. He

was a crooked man who would do anything to get what he wanted, regardless of who was hurt or killed

in the process.

He was a father who sacrificed and groomed his son in order to take over a successful corporation that

outperformed him. His son’s life was squandered for the sake of his vengeance.

In four years, his son would have met and married a lady he adored and become a father of two

children.

Of course, that woman wouldn’t be me, but it was a fact if Josh had not accepted to take revenge on

behalf of his father…

Thinking about it more seriously, perhaps it wasn’t me who was being punished for the sins, but him

and Josh, for all the pain they inflicted on Thalia, karma was paying them a visit, and I was just a

passenger because of my desire for money.

Victor continued to elude me as he entered the elevator, disregarding my calls. He was engrossed in

his phone, sending emails to his lawyers, safe to assume.

He couldn’t even wait for his son to heal before inventing another plan, one I knew was certain to end

in disaster. I stepped into the elevator as well, and I realized he had pressed on the last button, he

gestured to me to stay quiet as if he didn’t want anyone to hear us.

I turned around and saw that the elevator was empty except for the two of us. Despite my impatience

and need for answers, I remained silent. We reached the top floor and ascended some stairs to the

roof.

“Victor, what’s going on? Why are we here?”

“Have you heard of the saying “walls have ears?” he inquired? I just stared at him, knowing exactly

what the statement meant yet desperate for an explanation.

“What did you mean when you threatened the doctors in the doctor’s office?”

“Did you and Josh ever discuss starting a family? Do you know why he was so eager to start a family?”

he inquired.

“Something… about.. heirs?” I stammered.

As I froze and stared at him, he responded, “More than half of the Gentex belongs to that heir.”

Josh never mentioned to me that the shares were piled up and earmarked for a human person who

had not yet been born, even though I knew the company was family. We never talked about the

company because he was still drafting and putting things in place.

“Are you joking?” With tears streaming down my cheeks, I inquired, but he merely glanced down. “But

why give sperm so many shares? I assumed it was the only way to transfer ownership or that we were

waiting till the child was eighteen or something!” I screamed at the top of my lungs.

He responded, “No Jessica we set aside shares for the child but the biological parent is still in control.

Of course, we do tests and make sure we are capable of fathering a child. Jessica, inherited shares are

the safest approach to prevent a takeover or preventing a fall of shares.

I locked my gaze on him since he appeared to be calm and unconcerned. “What happens? Can one

make changes to the documents?”

“Yes, Josh can,” he responded.

I took a deep breath in, nearly panicking. “So that makes us safe, we need to inform Josh of the

Orchiectomy so that he can swiftly update the documents? Is that correct?” I inquired, but he turned

away.

“What?” I was confused.

“Josh’s desire to have children was one of the reasons he agreed to take over Gentex. For his future

children and his mother. Back then, when my company was sinking, I had no future to pass on to him

or his future offspring,” he said, ostensibly making sense but not.

“In short, what I’m saying is that we need to give him time; first, I’ll meet with my lawyers, create all of

the papers, and identify the appropriate judges to cement the change or we might not need a Judge,

and then we’ll tell Josh,” he suggested.

“But Victor, you heard the doctor, the sooner we tell Josh, the better,” I said.

“Jessica, do you think he’ll change the documents if we tell him right now? He will give up the company

without care and go into depression. Everything he worked for and sacrificed will be in vain?” he stated.

“What will happen if the documents aren’t changed by him?” I asked.

“That was my motivation for threatening the doctor. We need to consider all possibilities. If the board

discovers that we have a large number of shares that will never be inherited, they may tip our

adversaries.

Gentex would be forced to declare all shares forcing us to buy the shares and if we can’t afford them,

other people will buy because the documents would be null and void in the absence of an heir? And

without the inheritance shares, other share orders can sell their shares freely he stated.

“In today’s harsh business world, we can be accused of stock fraud and lose everything.”

My knees gave out on me, and I watched my life of luxury being swept away in front of my eyes. I’d be

nothing without money. We had to do everything we could to keep the Orchiectomy a secret.

We needed to get Josh ready. I had worked my tail off to become Mrs. Nelson of Gentex corporation,

and there was no way I was going back to a life of selling my vagina for food and upkeep.

I swallowed hard and wiped my tears, asking “so, what is the plan? If Josh found out we had lied to

him, he would never forgive us.”

“No, he’ll be aware that he’s suffered damage to his private parts but will act as if no damage was

done.

You’ll go to the doctor after months of trying not to get pregnant. By then, I’ll have persuaded him to

change the corporate records, and the doctor will have informed him that trauma caused him to

become infertile,” he explained.

I locked my gaze on him; his strategy and plan were sound; all we were doing was buying time for Josh

to gain control of the shares rather than some unborn kid. He’d find out about his impotence in the end.

I quickly accepted since I needed the life of money to keep up my social image; I had ascended a very

high ladder and couldn’t afford to let anything pull me down.

Victor elaborated on his strategy, saying that he would handle all of the hard work while I would play

the supporting wife and lie until it was time to pay a hired doctor to deliver the bad news.

The benefit of it all was that after Josh updated the documents, I didn’t have to go through the agony of

having a useless baby for him.

Just the two of us would grow old in our wealth. Victor stepped away to begin the process, while I

returned to Josh’s room. Our happily ever after was still in play, so we were going to screw karma.
