Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance

Chapter 275

Chapter 275

Chad sent his sister off and said to Hansen, "Merry Christmas, Hansen."

Only moments ago, Hansen had been suspicious of Chad's intentions towards his daughter, and had

complained several times in the car to his butler, "Did you see how Chad was holding my daughter's

hand? I could cut it off."

The butler replied, "He's Molly's brother."

Hansen retorted, "He touched my daughter's face!"

The butler explained, "He was just helping Miss with her clothes."

All in all, Hansen had a rather unfavorable impression of Chad. However, when Chad put his daughter

back in the car and offered him polite wishes, Hansen suddenly found Chad to be very well-mannered

with a stable job and a bright future. His attitude became friendly again, "Merry Christmas, Chad.

Thanks for your help."

"No problem, it's my pleasure." Chad advised his sister, "Don't go out late at night anymore."

Molly nodded at his words.

After the Cedillos drove away, he turned back and shared the burger that his sister had brought with his

teammates.

On the way home, Hansen asked his daughter, "Molly, do you have a boyfriend at school?"

Molly was curious and asked, "No, why would you ask that?"

Hansen was satisfied, "Don't look for a boyfriend at school. Those people are not worthy of you."

Perhaps in Hansen's mind, even a prince was not good enough for his daughter.

This was Mia's first Christmas with the Cedillos. She only had her parents at home, and she inevitably

felt a bit homesick. Andre had proposed inviting the Irvins to spend Christmas with them, but they had

declined, planning to go abroad to accompany their son.

Normally, the house was bustling and noisy, but on Christmas Eve, everyone missed their own families.

The two little girls seemed a bit down.

Leo was happy, his parents finally stopped bothering him. But just as he was starting to enjoy himself, This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.

his mother called him aside and asked him to cheer up the two girls.

Leo pointed at himself and asked his mother, "Mom, do I look like a clown?"

Naomi nodded with a smile, "Yes."

Leo was speechless. He returned to the girls with this daunting task.

Mia told him, "Leo, keep your distance from us. We always get in trouble when we're together. We're

trying to avoid that for Christmas."

Leo didn't know how to respond.

Later, Leo did indeed keep his distance from them. He said, "Before my aunt returned, my uncle would

hit me every time he came back. My parents, in order to get my uncle to come back for Christmas,

would always set me up. My dad broke my grandfather's vase with my ball and then said I did it. I

would get hit when I got back. My homework was thrown away by my mom who said I was

misbehaving and not studying properly. She even bought three different sets of homework for me to do

as punishment. The person who really disciplined me wasn't my parents, but my uncle."

Naomi and Bruce were embarrassed, "Why are you talking about the past when you're supposed to be

bringing us joy?" They looked a bit awkward.

Hansen was seriously recalling, "Which vase of mine got broken again?"

Mia casually said, "My husband must have known about your deception."

All eyes in the room landed on Mia, a mixture of shock and confusion.

Mia blinked innocently, "You guys really don't know?"

The Cedillos really seemed to have no idea.

Mia wrapped her arm around the man next to her, pointed at his face, and looked at the people in the

house, "This is Andre. He's so smart, how could he possibly not have figured out that you guys were

using Leo as an excuse to get him to come home for Christmas? Even if it was a pattern, he would've

caught on after the third time. My husband has actually been playing along with your act all these

years. You say you're going to hit Leo, and he comes back and does it. Andre actually wants to come

home for Christmas too. He wants to see his mother."

Naomi recalled that over the years, Andre had indeed done just that. Every time he returned, he would

spend some time at his mother's grave before leaving.

"Did Andre tell you that?" Naomi asked.

Andre was also looking at his wife. He didn't remember telling her that. How did his lovely wife know?

Mia looked at her husband with a simple expression, "Does he need to tell me? Anyone who

understands him would know."

It sounded as if she was the only one in the family who understood Andre. And it seemed, indeed, that

Mia was the only one who really understood her husband.

Leo's face darkened. Since his uncle knew he had been misunderstood back then, why did he still hit

him! Why didn't he show any mercy!

"Why am I always the one getting hurt!" Leo complained.

Andre had a secret deep in his heart, something he had never told anyone else. He hid it so well that

no one had ever noticed. He thought that Mia wouldn't know his true thoughts either.

"My husband is planning to train you to take over Cedillo Inc. in the future." Mia said.

With that sentence, she revealed the secret Andre had been hiding for over a decade.

Hansen was curious, "What? Training Leo?"

Naomi and Bruce were so shocked they couldn't speak. Andre was planning to let his nephew take

over Cedillo Inc.?

Andre was also stunned. How did she know? "Mia, who told you?" He asked.

Mia turned to her husband with deep eyes, innocently saying, "I just knew that's what you planned."

When she first got married, Naomi was worried that Mia would take everything from Leo, and Andre

was already fed up. He had said that what belonged to Leo was off-limits. But after getting married to

Andre and hearing so much about the Cedillo family, she was more and more convinced that her

husband was planning to train Leo.

"Andre started grooming Leo early on, guiding him to get certifications and apply for university. He

taught him how to be a decent human being, not some silver spooned spoilt brat. He even didn't let him

claim he's the only child of the Cedillo family. He just didn't want Leo to stray. My husband doesn't say

it, but he cares deeply for Leo." Mia said.

When Leo was a kid and got sick, besides his parents, Andre was the first one to show up at the

hospital.

When Leo was ten and had a fever for a month, he was in and out of the hospital, getting blood drawn

and IVs. Even after the doctors did a blood culture, they couldn't figure out what was wrong. Leo was

still feverish and his hand was swollen from the needle pricks.

Andre was heartbroken. That year, he was eighteen, and he took his nephew abroad alone to receive

treatment in the best hospital. Only when Leo was cured did he bring him back home.

He was not much of a talker. Whenever he showed up, he treated his nephew with sternness and

coldness. He told Leo, "You're gonna go to business school, get your master's and get certified."

Naomi asked Mia, "Why doesn't Andre leave the company to his own kids?"

Mia answered, "Back then, I wasn't in the picture, and Molly hadn't been found yet."

When Molly was puzzled and asked, "What does this have to do with me?"

Mia said, "My husband felt guilty because his mistake led to his sister's disappearance and his mom's

death. He felt like he didn't deserve any happiness in the world. Whenever he thought about getting

married and starting a family, he felt like it was greed. So he, being guilty, should stay alone. But the

Cedillo family couldn't be without an heir, and naturally all the responsibilities fell on Leo. He wouldn't

open up to anyone, but he actually cared about everyone in the family. His brother's work, Leo's

studies, his father's health, even Naomi’s family affairs. He just didn't want to talk about it."

Mia looked at Molly and said, "These fifteen years, your disappearance has been my husband's

nightmare."

Molly's eyes moistened, tears sparkling. She looked at Andre, tears silently rolling down her face.

Mia immediately handed over a tissue to wipe away the tears from Molly's eyes, "Don't cry. My

husband used to care about you, but now he loves me the most, me!" She emphasized her position

again.

Molly burst into tears, completely not caring about her appearance, "I'm touched."

Suddenly, Mia's phone rang. She picked it up and saw a message from Michael: [Merry Christmas.]

Just so happened, Andre saw it too.
