Chapter 1 She Was the First Woman He Ever Slept With
Jocelyn Murray fell on a sofa. Her fancy dress was ripped apart which exposed her slender and beautiful thighs.
She thought she was being burned by fire because of the intense heat she felt, and she was too weak and dizzy to stand up.
Jocelyn stared blankly at Theresa Chavez, her best friend.
"Theresa! I feel like the world is spinning!"
Theresa knew this could happen.
Instead of being friendly to Jocelyn as usual, Theresa said nonchalantly, "You're feeling lightheaded because I put something in your drink. You're gonna be horny soon. You won't be able to stop yourself from pleading with that obnoxious director, Mr. Dowey, to sleep with you. Tomorrow morning, a swarm of reporters will wait outside of your room to take pictures of you. You'll be making headlines as a slut. I know what the title should be! How about 'Iconic Actress Jocelyn Is Actually a Whore'?"
Jocelyn felt as if her heart had been stabbed by a knife after hearing Theresa's sarcastic words. "How could you do that to me, Theresa? You've always been my best friend."
"Hmph! Why do you keep stealing my thunder if you're truly my best friend? I'd be a famous actress now if it weren't for you."
Theresa's eyes widened in an ugly display of jealousy as she stared at her friend. She then sneered as she grabbed Jocelyn by the hair and yanked her head back, saying, "You'll be a nobody after
tonight. Everything you have will be mine, including your boyfriend Ernest Cloutier. I'll tell you what, I've already slept with him."
Jocelyn opened her dry lips and stared insistently at Theresa, but no sound came out. Her heart ached as if it had been slashed with a knife.
Jocelyn had no idea her boyfriend and best friend were having an affair behind her back.
"My best friend, take your time and enjoy the night!"
Before she left the room, Theresa released her grip and kicked Jocelyn hard.
Jocelyn clenched her fists so tightly that her fingernails dug into her palms the moment the door was shut. She was weak, but she bit her lower lip and stood up because she didn't want Theresa to get what she wanted.
Jocelyn knew she had to leave as soon as possible.
Jocelyn made her way to the door while gasping for air and attempted to open it. At the next second, a man's hand reached around from behind her and pressed hard against the door.
"Ah!"
Jocelyn screamed in terror because she thought she was alone in the room.
Her back rested against the man's broad, warm chest as he pressed her against the door. She could feel the man's warm breath against her ear and smell the pleasant scent of his body.
She shivered in fear because she was so close to the man behind her and had no idea who he was.
"I'll give you 20 million dollars if you help me..."
His voice was low and sounded so icy cold that it sent a chill down her spine.
The man's glowing eyes in the dark made him sinister and threatening as if he were a wild animal ready to attack his prey at any moment.
The money didn't appeal to her because she also needed help.
"I'm feeling so uncomfortable."
Jocelyn whimpered. She could feel the horrible heat inside her body rising and suffocating her.
Early next morning, the man put on his suit jacket showing his trim figure and refined manners. His beautiful features made him as frigid as a statue, nothing like the ferocious man last night.
He glanced at the woman in bed, who was sound asleep. Even though her long hair obscured her face, he remembered how attractive she had been the night before.
Calvin Austin placed his treasured pocket watch in the woman's hand before leaving.
He'd never slept with any woman before.
"She's delicious," he thought to himself.
When Calvin opened the door to the room, reporters swarmed to snap pictures of him.
But they were all taken aback when they looked up and saw who was standing in the doorway.
No one dared to cross Calvin Austin because everyone knew he was the most respectable and wealthy man in Glebey city. The reporters looked at him fearfully like facing their doom.
Calvin would make anyone who messed with his life a living hell.
Calvin appeared to be as elegant and noble as a king. He asked, with his eyes narrowed, "Are you taking pictures of me? How did you get the nerve to do that?"
"I'm sorry, Mr. Austin."
"We had no idea it would be you."
Calvin had never had a scandal in his life because he would ruin the media outlets who dared to report on it.
The reporters dropped their cameras and snapped their memory cards to save their lives.
"Mr. Austin, we've destroyed our cameras."
"Get out!" Calvin growled.
The reporters were so terrified that they fled immediately.
Jocelyn awoke feeling uneasy as if her entire body was about to fall apart. She became enraged as she remembered what had happened the night before. Content is © by NôvelDrama.Org.
She figured Theresa was the one to blame for making her have sex with a stranger.
She felt a hint of sadness after losing her virginity to a complete stranger.
Once Jocelyn realized she was holding a pocket watch, she assumed it had been given to her by the mysterious man.
"Forget about it. It's better to sleep with a stranger than Mr. Dowey."
Jocelyn left the hotel after putting on her mask, but she was surprised not to see a single reporter along the way.
She planned to go to the Icehive Entertainment building and confront Ernest about what was going on.
She could hear a conversation inside the president's office before she arrived at the door. "Ernest, you're such a bad boy! Who do you love more, me or Jocelyn?"
"It must be you! I've never been attracted to her. I only signed her because of her money and popularity. You see, we screwed her around like a fool."
Jocelyn was in so much pain after hearing Ernest's words that she couldn't even breathe. She slammed his office door open in a rage and yelled, "Ernest, I never imagined you'd be using me all this time! You should both burn in hell!"
Theresa was sitting on Ernest's lap when Jocelyn broke in the door. She immediately jumped to her feet and exclaimed, "Jocelyn, shouldn't you be at the hotel now?"
Jocelyn walked up to Theresa and slapped her hard. She shouted angrily, "Yes, you didn't ruin my life the way you wanted! Did that disappoint you? It hurts me to say this, but I wish I had known you were a horrible person in the first place! You and I are no longer friends from now on!"
Jocelyn felt heartbroken when she saw Ernest. She had no idea that all of his sweet words were actually lies.
"Ernest, you bastard! How could you cheat on me? You love her more, don't you? I'm breaking up with you right now! I'll quit! I hope you two suckers stick together forever!"
Jocelyn walked out straightly after shouting these words and slamming the door. She forced herself to keep her composure in front of them despite how badly she felt.
The worst possible thing happened to her then.
The news that Jocelyn was leaving show business sent the internet into a frenzy. Icehive Entertainment immediately gave Theresa all of Jocelyn's job opportunities, and her posters were removed from places throughout town.
Jocelyn was no longer featured in any commercials and was even replaced in her role in a TV show that she was shooting. The cancellation extended to the contracts she was keen on as well.
Icehive Entertainment abruptly canceled Jocelyn after only one night.
It was as if she'd gone straight from heaven to hell.
Within a month, she was the target of numerous malicious rumors. She went from being a popular movie star to "the scourge of society."
Jocelyn's desperation only grew as time went on.
Everything she had ever owned now vanished. Everyone turned their backs on her, and even her father kicked her out of the house.
As she stood on the beach, looking out at sea, Jocelyn thought of her mother. While crying, she said, "Mom, I'm so desperate. If you were still around, nobody would hurt me like that."
"Mom, I want to go to heaven to see you. But the doctor told me I'm pregnant."
Jocelyn dried her eyes. Her gaze turned tough, and her resolve strengthened as she touched her belly.
She didn't know who the man that night was, but the baby had done nothing wrong.
"I'm done crying, Mom. I'll have to be rough around the edges. I'll get back everything that belonged to me!" Jocelyn thought to herself.
