Stolen Virtue

Chapter 16: Help me

I woke with a banging headache and a bitter taste in my mouth. I tried to sit up, but I couldn’t move, something was holding me to the bed. I heard voices, it sounded like Clyde, Sanity and Dillon. I tried to sit up again, but I still wasn’t able to move.

I tried moving my hands and legs but they weren’t moving either. My eyes came opened fast, I looked around only to find out that I was chained to a bed. I started pulling at the chains, but they wouldn’t budge.NôvelDrama.Org: text © owner.

Everything that happened with Dillon and Amy came back with full force.

I was trapped in a room, chained to a bed. From what I could have seen, it was a big room. There was everything in it. From, a bathroom, to a sofa and a television and even a kitchen. I started to panic, pulling at the chains until they ripped into my skin. I heard the voices again and started yelling. “Clyde! Clyde! Please help me, I’m in here. Please help me!”

No one responded to my calls. I looked to see where the voices were coming from and saw that they were from a speaker, attached to the wall. So no matter how hard I shouted no one would hear me. I was trapped, Dillon would never let them find me.

Clyde was saying something, so I stayed quiet and listen. “How could she just disappear from the school without no one even seeing where she went or who took her. This is all my fault, I knew I should’ve told the police about what happened to her that night at my party. If I had none of this would have happened.”

I heard rustling about then Amy’s voice, “It wasn’t your fault, Clyde. You couldn’t have known something like this would have happened. You need to stop blaming yourself, we will find her don’t worry.”

That bitch! How could she? I wanted to rip her throat out. I wanted to scream, to let Clyde know that she was the reason I was chained to a bed. I wanted him to know that it is because of her I wasn’t with him, but most of all I wanted him to kill her.

Sanity was crying and Henry was comforting her. “You did what! I don’t understand, how could you force yourself on her and not remember it? Why didn’t she report it? Why did she stay with you after it happened?”

They were all quiet, waiting for Clyde to answer. “We were drugged. That night at the party, someone injected us with some kinda weird drug. When we wore up the next morning, it was to find… Look, someone used me to hurt Juliet that night, and now that person’s got her. Whoever killed those three girls, has my girlfriend and I’m gonna find him.”

Sanity was screaming, “You force yourself on my best friend and you expect me to believe that you were drugged, that you didn’t know what you were doing! There’s no kinda drug that can do that, Clyde!”

Something fell to the ground, then came Clyde’s voice, “I love Juliet, and I would die for her, my life is not worth living if I’m not with her! So don’t you dare accuse me of ever hurting her intentionally.”

There was silence for a while, but then he continued, “You think that I don’t hate myself, for what happened to her. I’m the one that the bastard used to hurt her. I watched her cry and tried to scrub the pain away, and I couldn’t do anything to help her. I don’t know why she forgave me, but she did and I couldn’t love her more for it. She mine, that bastard’s got, my baby. She must be terrified and there’s nothing I can do about it.”

The voices go softer and softer and I guessed they were moving into another room. I started to Shout for them to not leave, even though I knew that they couldn’t hear me. About half an hour after, the door opened and Dillon came in. He smiled when he saw me, he was carrying a tray with food on it. He set in down on the table beside me and sat on the end of the bed.

He smoothed the hair away from my face and I jerked away from him. “Now, now. Is that any way to treat your boyfriend? I’ll have to teach you some manners.”

I looked at him with hatred and disgust, “You will never be my boyfriend. You sadistic psychopath. You killed those girls, you drugged Clyde and me. Why would you do something like that Dillon? Mommy and Daddy never gave me enough attention. Poor Dillon, his Mommy and Daddy never loved him. Boo Hoo, there are people out there who had life worse than you. You don’t see them going around raping and killing people.”

Dillon raised his hand and slapped me with all his built-up rage. My face started to burn and my ears were ringing. I looked at him with tears in my eyes and he sighed, rubbing my cheeks.

“See what you made me do, I don’t like hurting you Juliet, but I will if I have to. Now I think you should eat, I’ve brought you some food.”

He tried to put the sandwich to my mouth, but I turned away my face.

“Where’s Clyde?”

Dillon got angry, throwing the tray with the food to the floor. He grabbed my face painfully. “Clyde’s gone and you’re never going to see him again. So stop asking!” he let go of me, turning to pick up the fallen tray.

“Maybe a few hours by yourself will teach you to behave.”

He started walking away and I shouted after him. “Why Dillon, why did you drug us? Why did you let him hurt me? Why would you hurt me like that, after what happened to Mary?”

Dillon turned back laughing, “Why. You wanna know why? I’ll tell you WHY! I love you Juliet and you were throwing yourself at him. Even though you knew what kinda person he is. You weren’t supposed to be with him, I did it so you would hate him when you woke up and found out what he did. But I should’ve known that he would try to worm his way into your life. Come up with some excuse, to make you believe that he was innocent.”

I gasped at him, staring wide-eyed. “W-what did you drug us with?”

I asked, needing to know. Dillon set the tray down and pulled up a chair to the bed and smiled.

“Oh that, that was my own personal concoction. You were just drugged with a simple date rape drugged. But Clyde, however, now that was a masterpiece. That was a mixture of various ingredients. It worked like a charm.”

He sat back and smiled, his face going back into the past, “Wanna know what it does?”

Without waiting for me to answer he continued. “It put the person in a zombie-like state. The brain is asleep, but the body is fully functioning. It triggers a sleeping sickness called Sexsomnia. It was touch and go at first with Clyde, I thought I’d have to dose him up again. But when he came awake and started to attack you, it was simply beautiful. It’s such a shame the world will never get to see my work.”

“You watched it? You were there watching as he hurt me. How could you live with yourself, Dillon? You are sick Dillon, you need help. Please let me go and I promise I will help you to get the help you need.”

Dillon got up and laughed, “Nice try Juliet, but you’re not going anywhere.”

He started walking to the door and I screamed after him, “Clyde didn’t hurt me, Dillon, it was you! You raped me!” He left the room, closing the door behind him. And I was left with the sound of my own screams and the sickening silence of the room.

Three days pass and Dillon still had me chained to the bed. He would come down every few hours to let me used the bathroom and eat food. Clyde, Sanity, Henry and Amy would come over every day. They would all discuss ways in which to find me.

Dillon would try to get me to talk to him, but I kept on ignoring him. He would bring me flowers, buy me gifts or write me love letters. However, I never accepted any of it. That only made him angrier.

I would lay awake every night with tears running down my face and whisper into the darkness, “Somebody, help me, please.” But no one ever came.
