Chapter 900 A Win-win Situation
Archie pressed Natalia to his chest and whispered, "Silly girl."
Natalia gave him a tight embrace in turn.
Now that they had made the decision to go to Felix together, they wanted to do it without delay.
Felix also desired that they come as soon as possible.
Hence, early the next morning, Archie and Natalia flied to Harlingen.
Harlingen was where Felix's headquarters was.
Situated in the Golden Triangle , the city was an ungoverned area.
It was for this reason that Felix chose to base himself here.
Archie and Natalia arrived at Harlingen at three in the afternoon.
The scorching summer sun made them sweat all over.
As soon as they got off the plane, they saw standing at a short distance several men in black.
At the sight of them, the men walked over.
"Is it Mr. and Mrs. McCarthy?"
Archie and Natalia nodded.
The men bowed respectfully and made an inviting gesture.
The McCarthys had decided that Felix would not trick them before they came here, so they followed the
men without any hesitation.
Together with them were Nancy.
Roy was asked by Archie to stay home and handle the company's business.
As a man who didn't practice martial arts, Roy wouldn't be of much help out here.
The crowd didn't walk far before they came to the motorcade parked by the roadside.
Escorted by the men, Archie and Natalia got in one of the cars and were drove straight to the
destination.
About half an hour later, the car entered a magnificent castle.
It was the first time that Natalia had come to this place. Although she had known Felix for a long time,
she had always met Felix at the headquarters of the Dragon Club instead of this private place.
The car pulled up in front of a colossal building.
Getting out of the car and looking up, they saw Felix standing at the gate.
"Welcome to the Bissel Castle."
Felix gave a smile, handsome and elegant in a black suit.
That was, apart from the dark circles beneath his eyes.
Archie curled up his lips slightly as a smile in return. Although he and Felix were previously bitter rivals
to each other, their meeting today struck a note of harmony.
Archie came up and shook hands with Felix, who ushered them into the drawing room.
The servants came in with coffee.
Roaming over the room with her eyes, Natalia smiled faintly. "Fancy! Didn't know you have such a good Còntens bel0ngs to Nô(v)elDr/a/ma.Org
old den here. If I had known about it, I'd have got it smashed so that I wouldn't suffer so much from
you."
Felix glanced at her and said in a cool voice, "My mother left it to me."
Natalia was surprised.
She had had no idea about Felix's family background until she learned that he was an illegitimate child
of the Bissel family.
Having known about his origin, she was quite sympathetic to him.
But it was another business. She cherished no such sentimentality at this time.
Besides, Felix didn't need her sympathy.
Natalia sat down on the sofa and said in a down to earth manner, "What do you want to talk about by
getting us here? What do you mean by teaming up with us?"
Felix was not in the least surprised by her frankness.
He didn't beat about the bush but said simply, "Wait a moment."
He went upstairs, and soon came down with some documents.
"Have a look at these."
He handed the documents over.
Archie and Natalia looked through them.
They were about some jade tablets.
Natalia asked with a frown, "What are these?"
Felix replied in a somber tone, "They're the Celestial Book."
Natalia was flabbergasted to hear the word.
Even though she had been keeping away from gangdom and focusing on her own career in recent
years, news of the famous Celestial Book had reached her.
Legend had it that the Celestial Book boasted the magic of bringing the dead back to life and making
one live forever without getting old.
Natalia, of course, dismissed the legend as absurd.
She didn't believe a word of immortality.
When the tale first cropped up, she followed it for a short while, then cast it aside as a scam.
She was surprised that Felix was bringing it up so many years later.
Archie, however, remained calm. Having flicked through all of the documents, he asked Felix, "Is it for
the Celestial Book that you've got us here?"
Felix said deeply, "To tell you the truth, it was because of the Celestial Book that the Dragon Club got
into trouble."
He told Archie and Natalia about the fight between the Dragon Club and Rosefinch Club four years
ago.
Then he continued, "The Zircon Association stirred up the fight to get benefits from it. I had thought that
they had spotted the inherent conflicts between the two clubs and therefore plotted the fight."
"It was only much later that I learned many of the members of the two clubs had belonged to the Zircon
Association."
"These members changed their identities and lurked in the clubs for a chance to stir things up so that
they could get rid of the clubs one by one."
"Nowadays, the Zircon Association is the most powerful group in gangdom after the Violet Group. I
have looked into the killers who were after Natalia before and found that her accident was also the
doing of the Zircon Association."
Natalia flared up.
Her face clouded over.
"What? The killers were also from the Zircon Association?"
Felix nodded.
"But why? I don't remember doing any harm to them."
Felix gave a sneer.
"It was not necessarily that you had done them any harm. They'll get rid of you as long as you're in
their way."
He paused.
"They're now aiming to bring the domestic gangdom under their rule, while the McCarthy family is the
biggest block for them. Think of that, and you'll know why they want to do away with you."
Natalia's expressions changed.
Hearing Felix's words, she had made sense of many things that had puzzled her previously.
She said in a grave tone, "So you want us to team up against the Zircon Association?"
Felix nodded.
Then he told them about Queeny's disappearance.
"Queeny is still in their hands. I've no idea why exactly they've got her, but I guess it's for the time
reason as their scheme against Natalia. So I've asked you to come here for a plan to stop them."
At Felix's words, Natalia and Archie sank into silence.
