Seduced by My Childhood Sweetheart’s Brother

Chapter 661

Previously, my rebellious self visited a pub and I was spanked. After that, I learned to behave. However, I often thought that everyone was too protective of me, so much so that I had become overly pampered. That said, to defend my relationship, I learned to stand my ground and fight Jasmine. Learning how to be unyielding was a huge progress. As long as Jasmine continued to pester me, I believed I would grow even stronger.Content © NôvelDrama.Org.

Thanks to her, I had become resilient. I was confident that one day, I would become strong enough to defeat her.

The birthday party would take place at 11:30 am in Crystal House. At a quarter past ten, Colin and I drove over there. Even though it was his birthday party and we weren't asked to prepare anything, we figured we should help out.

As I hopped into his car, the lack of decorations within reminded me of the present I had yet to give to him. I dashed back to my apartment and dug out the gift I had hidden so well before getting inside the car. Colin noticed the grin on my face and asked what naughty things I had done. I told him to guess. He held his chin and pretended to think very hard while his eyes took several glances at the pink box I was holding. After two minutes, he shook his head and surrendered. "I don't know. Tell me, babe."

Colin was a smart man. He most certainly knew that the pink box was his present, but he also knew girls enjoyed games like this, so for once, he cast away his maturity and played along. When someone truly loved you, they wouldn't say it out loud all the time. Instead, they proved it with their actions because they knew what you needed. How lucky was I to have found Colin!

I took out the car accessories that I knitted and explained their functionalities to him. In his starry eyes, I saw surprise and contentment.

"Colin, I made all of these myself. Every thread contains my wish for you. I know they look rather cheap and tacky..." My voice tapered toward the end, and my head slowly lowered itself out of guilt. The idea sounded great in my head, but when I handed out the gift, I felt embarrassed. They looked so poorly made. Perhaps it was stingy of me to gift handicrafts to someone I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.

"I just thought that your car and your car keys looked boring because there were no accessories. I just figured you might want them. And... And I just wanted to add a bit of my presence to your world."

I was too scared to meet Colin's eyes, afraid that he would not like my present and think that I was a cheapskate. As time ticked by, the silence dragged out indefinitely. My eyes turned red, and I felt upset. I almost wanted to apologize.

Suddenly, Colin spoke up. His husky, masculine voice filled my ears. "As my girlfriend, shouldn't you put the decorations up yourself?"

Huh? Did that mean that he liked my presents and he wasn't mad?

Colin chuckled. His broad hands patted my head, and he leaned in to kiss my hair. I felt his warm-breath tickling my scalp, and sweet words began to pour out of his lips. "Babe, you're the best present I could ever ask for. Once I have you, I don't need presents anymore.

"That said, the things you made are so beautiful. I like them a lot. Did your fingers purba of when you knitted them?"

"Are you telling the truth? Are you sure you're not saying that to make me happy? I asked gingerly.
