Chapter 12
“Mommy.”
Eddy and Evie shouted. They unbuckled their seatbelts, ready to get off the car. However, Julian firmly grabbed their arms.
“Didn’t Mommy say she’s meeting an important client for lunch? We shouldn’t disturb her!”
Eddy looked puzzled, Evie felt a bit disappointed.
Julian pointed at Anson’s car.
Eddy suddenly understood.
They couldn’t let the big bad wolf know about their existence yet
Martin was extremely impressed with how responsible the kids were.
“Alright, you guys stay in the car.
Martin was a bit concerned about Josh’s suggestion to meet Elaine alone, so he brought the kids along to pick her up.
A sour taste filled Anson’s heart as Martin approached Elaine, walking slowly, and looked at her tenderly.
“Why did you come here?” Elaine smiled, her eyes filled with tenderness,
I’m worried about you!” Martin smiled. When his gaze slowly shifted to Anson’s face, his smile disappeared. Martin’s tone was cold and stern as he said, “No wonder Mr. Robinson requested to meet Elena alone. It turns out it has something to do with Mr. Cameron.
Anson’s sharp and piercing gaze remained locked onto Martin, his face displaying a clear sense of displeasure as if he were on the brink of an emotional outburst.
“Let me introduce you. This is Mr. Moore from Sevier Group, Martin!” Elaine said.
Anson’s frown deepened.
Anson couldn’t figure out what kind of relationship they had.
The way they interacted, as if they were intimately acquainted despite their roles as superior and subordinate, made their relationship seem very close.
“Mr. Moore, Mr. Cameron just mentioned that Cameron Group also wants to cooperate with Sevier Group, Elaine smiled meaningfully.
Elaine didn’t come back this time to collaborate with Cameron Group. Instead, she came to compete with Cameron Group and completely destroyed it.
*Sevier Group currently has no intention of collaborating with Cameron Group, Martin said calmly. He then took Elaine’s hand and got into the car without hesitation.
Anson’s eyes were locked on the two figures, a tinge of anger simmering within them.
Anson rubbed his fingertips Jogether, his gaze fixed on the car until it became a tiny speck and disappeared from view.
Within his eyes, there was not a hint of anger but rather a touch of profound amusement.
Since Elena had such an intimate relationship with Martin, Anson thought perhaps he could shift the focus of the investigation and begin probing Martin!
After a busy day, Elaine said to the kids after dinner, “Tomorrow, you’ll be going to kindergarten! You must listen to the teacher.
“Mommy, as long as the teacher treats us with respect, we’ll do the same for them, Julian confidently said.
Eddy nodded and said, “I think so too!”
Evie asked with a smile, “Mommy, all the kids have small backpacks. Did you prepare them for us?”
Elaine reached out and lightly tapped Evie’s forehead with her finger. “Of course I did!”
In the afternoon, Elaine specifically asked her secretary to buy red, yellow, and blue backpacks for the kids. She even secretly labelled their names on their begs.
When the kids received the carefully prepared backpacks from their mom, they were overjoyed, especially Evie, who immediately put on the backpack and jumped happily.
Julian’s face remained serious.
Julian contemplated the fact that Samara from Madie Kindergarten had still not apologized to his mom.
Julian rubbed his eyes and yawned. “Mommy, do you have to get up early tomorrow?”
Elaine nodded.
“Then we’ll take a bath!”
Since Julian was always considerate, Elaine didn’t suspect anything.
As usual, Julian and Eddy took a bath together while Elaine helped Evie take a bath.
In the bathroom, Julian held his iPad with a serious expression, his eyes unusually gloomy.
“Julian, why did you bring the iPad into the bathroom?” Eddy frowned and asked.
“Madie Kindergarten still hasn’t apologized to Mommy and us.”
Eddy crossed his arms, his face darkened. “They will pay for what they did!”
Julian quickly posted the scandal of Madie Kindergarten online.
“Why did you two take so long to shower?” Elaine knocked on the door and asked.
Eddy hurriedly said, “Mommy, we’re almost done.”
Suddenly, the scandal of Madie Kindergarten was widely circulated on the internet, and netizens were outraged.
I always thought that the best kindergarten in Denvil City must have the best teachers and complete facilities. I didn’t expect it to be so dark!)-
[Discrimination is unbearable!]
Before going to bed. Elaine glanced at her phone and froze upon seeing the Twitter notification.
She frowned and pushed open the door of the children’s room.
Eddy was very restless when sleeping, and his blanket had fallen to the floor.
Evie seemed to be dreaming of some delicious food, murmuring in her sleep.
Elaine’s gaze fell on Julian’s face.
Among the three children, Julian was the most sensible and mature.
Elaine approached Julian slowly and silently watched his face.
Elaine knew that if they had a father, Julian wouldn’t be so mature at such a young age.
“Mommy?”
Julian felt someone touching his face and woke up with a start.Original from NôvelDrama.Org.
“Is that you who expose the scandal of the Madie Kindergarten?”
Mommy, I will protect you and take care of Eddy and Evie!”
Every word Julian said was firm and struck Elaine’s heart.
Elaine leaned down and planted a kiss on Julian’s forehead. “Thank you, sweetheart!”
Julian grinned.
“Goodnight, Julian!”
Early the next morning, Elaine drove the kids to Sunshine Kindergarten.
The parents gathered together, discussing the horrifying scandals of Madie Kindergarten.
Listening to them, Elaine smiled and was very proud.
She felt the feeling of being protected by her kids was truly wonderful.
Julian, Eddy, and Evie stood in front of everyone. Rhonda introduced the three of them to all the other children in the class and assigned them their seats.
Evie, resembling a liule princess, was soon showered with an abundance of candies by other children.
Eddy, with an outgoing personality, quickly made friends with other children
Only Julian remained cold-faced, with a cold aura that kept others away.
Since sitting in his seat, Julian had been holding his iPad, closely following all updates about the Madie Kindergarten.
He switched the surveillance footage and saw that there were reporters outside the Madie Kindergarten.
Some parents were there to transfer their children to other kindergartens.
“Samara, could it be true that it has something to do with Elena and her kids?” One of the teachers worriedly asked.
Samara was now confused and annoyed.
Even if they apologized to Elena now, it might be too late. After all, these scandals had already caused a lot of commotion, and the kindergarten board might have already decided to dismiss her.
When Samara was at her wit’s end, her cell phone rang. The board informed her that she had to resolve everything within one day, or she would not only face dismissal but also huge compensation claims..
Samara’s head was buzzing.
Her temple twitched, and her face turned pale.
“Everyone!”
While Julian was engrossed in his iPad, Rhonda approached the front of the classroom and smiled, “Today, a mysterious
lady will be visiting our class to select child actors. I expect all of you to showcase your best abilities and participate actively.”
